[Q] Wallpaper Scrolling - XPERIA X10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hello am using ewjet rom i set a wallpaper was wondering if there is anyway to stop walllpaper scrolling using sony launcher

There is an app at android market called wallpaper wizardrii.. It can stop the scrolling wallpaper but you have to reapply the wallpaper
Wolfbreaks ROM with DoomLord Kernel = Awesome =)

another alternative is to use other launchers such as ADW launcher that gives more control over the wallpaper

There's an app called Picspeed Wallpapers that does that besides letting you browse for wallpapers online

why don't you try MultiPicture LiveWallpaper
you may find it in market or google~

Hi iam on stock 2.1 is any way to set wallpapers for defy in portrait. I.e like iphone

The only way I know of setting wallpapers up in portrait is to download (from the Market) and use MultiPicture Live Wallpaper. there is a bit of setting up to do with this but once you know how it works its easy enough.

Yes it does, Live Wallpapers do work on 2.1.

I'm would like to have a live wallpaper on my main home screen but then individual static wallpapers on the other launcher screens....possible?
Don't mind which launcher is involved, I'm currently using ADW ex.

no you cant have a live wallpaper on one then static ones on the other screens.
u can however have different static wallpapers on each screen using the app above

No it is not. It's Samsungs design feature not to scroll wallpapers.
Try wallpaper wizardrii, and choose "crop landscape". But I'm on Apex launcher so don't know if TW has it.
Again, APEX LAUNCHER HAS WALLPAPER SCROLLING if you use wallpaper wizadrii
It doesn't work ... it seems that is part of the system.

Apex launcher add a new option to select the wallpaper and let you define the galaxy nexus background with scrolling effect.
After installing this launcher this new option persist. The drawback is that there is only one backgroud image... maybe it is possible to add new backgrounds with scrolling effecs if we find where they are placed...

This is what you have to do.
Put whatever background you want to use on your web server.
Use the stock internet program to navigate to that picture.
Long press on the pic to bring up the menu.
Select "Set as wallpaper"
Finally, the wallpaper is scrollable. And use 1440 x 1280.

I just want to have non moving wallpaper even tho I scroll over the launcher pages.

Tw launcher.? I never heard of that..but. almost all the launchers, there should be a setting for scrolling wallpaper. I believe it is in screen settings.
