I recently soft bricked my Sidekick 4g and found all the info i need to fix this. the only problem is that the kd1 or kg2 software i need to download is only located on multiupload and as most of us know, that website has been down for a while now. can someone give me a link for a non-multiupload site to download the software i need?

possibly, the link in the OP is show 2.09 again (although i know it was showing 2.16 yesterday)
so far the new rom works fine for me

The fork & knives toolkit is kinda hard to find. There are a few xda threads, but they all link back to the original forum. I am not able to access it or "waybackit". Google isnt much help either. I am currently using "Petra" (Linux Mint 16). I am able to use adb, but would like tyo give this a try. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Does anyone have a nandroid backup or newer RUU than the 1.14.206.13 as this phone I am trying to fix has HBOOT 1.35 and as far as I am aware the O2 RUU does not work with this. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

point is-it´s full of my stuff ...so u hav to clean it out(especally my gmail acc&all other passwords........i think it´s in there as lot´s of my other stuff is....)
therefore i´m a little uneasy abt. posting a link here directly-u get it...
if- and only if- u still need it i could upload that thing somwere-but it will take a while cuz my provided upload´s only 500k
(dunno if there will be a timeout when uploading [email protected])
hope u fixed it already...
btw... im curious what´s the issue?

That would be fantastic! I could install it then wipe it. Or you could do a backup wipe then do a second backup then restore to your normal O2 back up? My friend has tried to flash a custom rom and it is bootlooping. If you would like to send me the link over PM that would be great!
well-if u PROMISE to clean it out-i´ll giv it to you...it´s cwm as i did the nandroid directly after unlocking via htcdev...
did u try to sideload another rom starting from scatch?
that´s how i got my ass out of som troubles i had myself maneuverd in... cant remember in detail, but i DO know i thought ive bricked it:laugh:

I have no intention of keeping your details. The phone is booting on ARHD but a strip of the touchscreen doesnt work so I need to get it as stock as possible to try and send it away for warranty.

Hey guys i have ported CM12 rom for the desire 610 , i am not sure whether it ll work,i need some ome to test it....99% it wont work slim chance of working...it may even brick your phone......so i am not responsible for bricking your device....flash it on your own risk....

Lol! I think just about any other xda forum wouldve come to the conclusion that this one's a dud and moved on by now (probably to a different custom rom). But we're so hopeful to get something working on this phone that we'll embrace the illusion a little longer. Its not a put down because i keep coming back to see eventhough i know if it worked we wouldve been aware probably on day one...certainly by day 7.

This is the current AT&T firmware, I got it from http://a2phone.ir/ it is a Persian site but is known to have legit firmware.

How far have you got for wifi calling on the International edge? I have been able to play with the files, and enable wifi calling from the phone, but I can't make wifi calls for some reason.
