Hey all
When will we see a modded ics rom made from a official released ics rom?
I know that there is XXLPB roms but all have some bugs.

anytime between start of march and end of that month early april i say you will see an official rom mate for ics...so maybe sometime next month regarding any custom proper official ics roms

Please help find stock lite rom

Does anyone remember S.U.R.F.A.C.E rom that was based on official builds for SGS but is there someone who builds barebone roms for SGS2?
Rom must support native Radio app and not use blue theme(like most ISC roms are)

ok U can build a barebone ROM... Just remove the un needed apps from the zip file... Rezip it/... Flash it..

Need AOSP Camera.apk of 4.0.3 from earlier CM9 nightlies

Someone please provide me AOSP Camera.apk of Android version 4.0.3 from earlier cyanogenmod 9 builds. accidentally I deleted all backups & can't restore it.
It's is found in /system/app in Flashable zip or in your ROM of earlier CM9 nighties because latest one is 4.0.4
Please help me.

Before release of jelly bean & when CM9 had stable camera In 4.0.3
must be around July I guess!!

How is the 4.1.2 update??? Is it working smoothly ?? what about contacts/Dialer lag in earlier version,is it rectified ?

What about the smoothness?? I am using 4.1.1 but its not that smooth a bit of lag i can find everytime.

As so far, 4.1.2 is very smooth.

LOL dude, download it and try it out by yourself. Or go to samsung official site and read the log release.

Its not yet released in india.
Ther is lot of difference in reading a log and experiencing it practically thats the reason i asked to share the experience of 4.1.2.

Here is my experience. .. it is good and worth trying and way better than 4.1.1
No bugs
No FC's

Root your device and flash custom rom or stock rom of 4.1.2 from diff. country
P.S: I live in India
make a nandroid backup if you dont like 4.1.2

Why miui roms are not based on Samsung stock roms or is it available...?

Well MIUI is based on Stock rom or CM or AOSP is determined by phone models to which they are made
there are stock based MIUI roms, Aosp Based one's as well as CM based ones for u
and MIUI has variant like cMIUI, rd Miui

They're so skinned you can't tell if they are based on 4.0.4 or 4.1.2 or any other firmware...

I've had a look at the Galaxy S3 Premium Suite and I can't wait to get it but all the custom rooms are still buggy =/ is there any 4.1.2 custom ROMs for the s3 that are stable ? or where can i get a rooted stock 4.1.2 rom for my s3 ?

i want one with everything working like both font and back cameras. As with parinoid android the front face camera is not working =[

Seriously, have you tried using different roms here? Like TPAM said, there are many stable rom because it is based on official rom.

i would recommend sotmax rom..try the latest version 10..it is stable n almost free from bug :good::laugh:
You may try flashing SHW-M440S ROM or find from here to try.
