I wanted the good ol' CRT screen-off back, so I went all the way to framework editing from this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1185231
The problem is, I should change 'config_animateScreenLights' to 'false', but it is ALREADY set to false, and I still don't have my CRT! Googling this, I found out this only happened to other Xperia users (a Mini Pro and a Ray), so I'm wondering if this could be an Xperia issue. Any way to get past it? Every guide on the net uses the 'animateScreenLights' thing, how can my framework be somehow overwritten by some SE setting?
If it can help I have a Mini st15i, with GB 2.3.4, FW .62 and stock rom/kernel.

some files missing in 2.3.4 for crt off animation. If I remember correctly dont need edit, just add files... read in link above
But that mod actually has a modified framework-res, and I want just the CRT effect =(

great guys of xda..can someone post here ur mod about reboot option, crt animation and quick panel settings for my LwW stock GB.62 rooted..if possible, i want the stock system ui appearance as if my stock GB.62 displays..(stock batt., signal and other icons..)

I don't think any dev has the animation in a sense ICS ROM. Some cm based ICS ROMs do though.
I know that some hate it but I happen to love the CRT-off effect when I lock my screen. I have been using through all versions until ZSEMA1. I searched but couldn't find it and hence the [Q]
Is there a CRT-off MOD for ZSEMA1 based ROMs already?
