Help please the usb on the neo is very buggy for me. The charging works but everything order is not working. Flash mode fast boot mode everything. The mass storage mode to.

Hi guys,
I installed the experience rom (xperia z style) with custom option, added super user.
I have correctly apply the instructions, but I have loss the CWM; root is ok.
Now, I can't install CWM again with the bat file, It don't detect my phone.
Somebody can help me please?

Then enable usb tethering and then try ( lol I knw bt worked once for me )

Like drsanket_xperia_u said, usb debugging must be enabled. If it doesnt solve the problem,
try to flash a kernel with cwm-recovery in it, like the munjeni-kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1934093 in fastboot mode.

I forgot to precise I have enabled usb debuging firstly, and my bootloader is locked so I can't flash kernel custom.
It's strange because my root acces is ok.

I know there are thousands of threads like this, but none of them gives me a solution. If I try to connect my SG2 (Stock ROM) with an USB cable, I get a really annoying message all the time. (Screenshot: http://www.techiesguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/USB-device-not-recognized-1.gif) It's still charging. When I try to install the drivers, I get an error message too. It tries to install drivers through Windows Updates, which doesn't work. Maybe Samsung's old drivers will work... Does someone have them?
My USB port just work. I can use everything else with it. The cable also works, and I've tried several cables. USB Debugging is enabled on my phone.
Things I already tried:
-Install drivers through download mode
-Cleaning up the USB port
-Different USB ports and cables
-Reinstalling drivers/Samsung Kies
-Removing the battery
-Install drivers w/o SIM and SD card
-Manually install drivers
-Soft factory reset
-Samsung Kies' troubleshooting
-USB Mass Storage
I hope somebody knows a solution for this.

Same problem for me, I think my Micro USB Port is broken (I'm pretty sure). Just replace it for ~10$ and you'll be fine

Okay, I'll use another device, and if that one works I can confirm you're right and find a solution for it.

I'm using Sentinel Rom with siyah kernel, my phone is not booting up it..shows a battery charging icon that's charging. i have tried all the possibilities that mentioned above , but no use..its says usb not recognized and also not able to go to Recovery mode or Download Mode using the hardware keys..but USB jig works , i was able to go to download mode but PC doesn't detect it odin. So not able to flash the kernel\ROM...
The phone was working till last moment , but when i restarted this problem came.
Can anyone suggest a solution..?
Post above mine; 'Odin won't work' gets covered here all the time. Search.

SOLVED :
Ok..i found whats the problem..the problem with my micro usb port ,which was not detecting. I connected my phone with different USB in my home PC and it detected , i went to Download mode using USB jig and flashed with new rom and its fixed. Thanks for the Help. I still have problem in my phone , if i connect my phone to any pc, phone gets rebooted. Hope i will find a solution for it.

I Tried using flashtool to flash stock rom from sony for my phone Sony Xperia U but it doesn't work , with normal user (no admin perm) It cannot detect that phone is in flashboot mode but with admin it detects but still nothing just "ended flash session"
Also i instaled driver propertly on windows 8 x64
I was so stupid i forgot to put zip on sdcard , anyone help? BUMP?

Can't you put it on external SD card?
How come fastboot not detected, have you used it on that PC before?

Ah it was problem with my front USB port , for some reason it doesn't work ,works only on rear USB port i was searching whole day until i tried rear USB port
EDIT: Also for some reason CWM Recovery 6.0.3.3 cannot mount USB storage so i had to flash stock sony rom via flashmode using ftf file , and now i am running SlimBean with SlidingXU kernel , works perfect , calls working, WiFi working

Is it a USB 3 port, AFAIK those don't work with fastboot/flash mode.
Yes it's a big problem most of recoveries do not have working USB storage and adb

Well it is 2.0 , everything else works on front , even USB Storage on phone but flashing don't , on rear USB ports all works..
how to install stock rom.

No other choice man you have to flash stock from a different pc such as your friends or any thing.
there have been complications with windows 8 i've heard but not sure.....
i have a usb problem with my ray , when i connect it to pc it charge but don't connect to pc i tried it on another pc but the same problem
i am using xperia ultimate hd 3.0.2 and it's worked i faced this problem after 3 months i used this custom rom
i decided to flash the stock rom but the flashtool didn't detect my phone
note : i can enter to CWM mode

Hi everybody.
I've Been using Xperia z2 for around 10 months,
never faced an issue of this kind.
I connected My Z2 for data transfer but it won't connect to PC via USB No light indication no charging nothing.
I thought may be my usb port had some issue so I tried with my other laptop. but the problem is same.
I went into the recovery mode and connected again.. now the MTP mode is working fine.
But it doesn't work within the OS.
would really appreciate any help
