you should have made cwm backup if you want specific provider firmware..
but if it is GT-5830 without any B or L you can flash international stock roms

My samsung galaxy s2 GT-I9100 have middle east Stock ICS rom PDA:I9100JPLPF . I want to replace this by Indian Stock ICS Rom (I9100XWLP7_I9100ODDLP9_INU).
Is this possibe without root?
If root neccessary then can be possibe with mobile odin .
Or Any other way to do this.
What are the disadvantage of change of other region rom?
How can do I this Please tell me.

u can flash the same thro ODIN no root required, but u may not get 'OTA updates" when the same is released for ur region

I wanna flash my Galaxy s 2's firmware , and i can't find the original firmware files.. where can i get them? Isn't there any thread here in s2 section where all stock firmwares are listed in one place? like dr ketan did in Galaxy Note section.. Help me asap..

Thanks for the link.. I've flashed the 4.0.3 firmware for my country i.e India .. But the problem still exists... My wifi is not starting at all.. whenever i click it by taking notification bar down , it doesnt start at all.. any possible solutions? :'(

as for as i know when u didn't have the csc which is not in samsung list, the phone might be the HDC one or the replica / supercopy of samsung
