I am using cm7.2 by vo-1 and i like to use the cm7 music player but it always freeze a few sec when i skip current song. Is there a way to stop the freeze and pls dont suggest 3rd party muisc app as i only wan cm7 music to work better l.

Ok if u own a Root explorer(Or any similar app) try replacing the music app with a new one. also setting permissions

I find the stock music player quite good. If u really need a third party software, I suggest u to try Poweramp, it has loads of features.
stock music player is the best IMO, i like 5.1 sound and it does what needs to be done just fine

If you are rooted and already on custom ROMs, you will be blown away by the sound quality of voodoo8 in new kernels. you dont need anything else. even with samsung earphones and stock music app, the sound is mind blowing! but if you ask me the best music app, Mixzing is the best. only one which has equalizer, widgets, and free!
This like have been for evry custom ROM for me.. When I am playing some songs, and using some other app like facebook or anythn.. The music player just stops working at romdom.. Iv tried with overclockin coz I read it in some post.. but still the same.. :/ anyway to keep that app in the memory like messages..?? Any help apreciated..

Heyy thanx .. But Dint work.. It is same for all player.. :/ the problem is whenever I play music n supose if I delete any file from sdcard using astro or any other file manager.. The audio stops..!! And other times it randomly it stops workin.. I am sick of it .. Please help :/

how to sort out album songs correctly in gingerbread music player. they used to display correctly on Froyo but not on cyanogen mod. no music player except poweramp displays them correctly. Any fix?

Thanku 4 ur reply !! well then I am bound to use nothing except poweramp.
you can try MIUI or Winamp, they are good.Winamp has a lot features than you can imagine.
you can also try this new player: Mufin Player
I am a music freak and have a custom but Stock based ROM installed on my Phone.
The Music app is the 1 which is by default in Stock Gingerbread ROMs. I wanted to ask if thier is any music Widget for Ace.
P/S: Sorry if the thread is already existing, I searched a bit but found nothing.
Use some other music player like poweramp,mixzing,cubed or even GMusic...

hello all
we are all like ics roms .. they are wonderfull. but for me i can't find a really good one music program that almost play most forms like buzz player to enjoy with ics rom.
there is a problem with buzz player and ics roms as i tried different roms but all have the same problem. you can make everything with buzz player except going to local media part which is the most important one .. even if you tried to go directly to the file and pop up the menu of players and choose buzz player the phone will freeze and pop up an error message.
any suggestions for this or a match one to buzz player?
