Here is the apk for the touchwiz launcher. I installed it with no problems. (directly through phone) this is the touchwiz30_rolle file. This file does not need to be installed through adb!
Credit goes to rolle3k in the nexus section for the touchwiz30_rolle.apk file
the touchwiz.zip file includes samsung widgets and original unmodified touchwiz launcher file. I have not tested/tryed these, though if you want to install them, it must be done through adb.
I am not responsible for any damage to your phone.

I believe so, if it isnt, they may need to be compiled into a zip file for clockwork.

i just wish i could get the memo.apk to work on my phone :'[
Did anyone have luck pushing the files? I haven't gotten a chance to get to my computer to do this.

I tried pushing it, and i am not getting it to install. anyone have better luck.

EDIT: The launcher is a little slow when I scroll thru the icons. Plus the widgets doesn't want to install so I removed the whole thing.

how did you get the launcher file to install?. I had no luck. i got it to push, just couldnt get it to install. please post directions.

In the zip file the .apk named "TouchWiz30_rolle.apk". That's the only one that installed for me. The one named "TouchWiz30Launcher.apk" wouldn't install at all. The widgets wouldn't install either for some reason.

My gf has a vibrant and she love the touchwiz. I like it a lot too is just personal preference.
Yes its also very choppy when flipping through screens on the application drawer....
can we possibly get a fix to that? I really love and prefer the TouchWiZ interface but the choppiness kills it, any one have any ideas as to whats causing it?

I have a little bug of sorts, it seems. My screen brightness seemed to be flickering around, so I went to settings>display>brightness to try to adjust it, and I am getting "the application settings (process.com.android.settings) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again". Does anybody know why this is happening and how to fix it? TIA...
I am having the same problem. Some say to uninstall fonts, but it did not work for me.

Thanks for the response. Is it your understanding that one or more individual fonts need to be deleted, or does the whole folder needs to be deleted with Root Explorer, or what exactly needs to be done? I'm willing to try it, the display is the best part of the phone and I can't stand looking at dullness constantly.
Maybe a bad flash or something?

Yeah, in addition to the brightness thing I was starting to get the random shutdowns again, which is the only thing I hate worse than the brightness problem. Just reflashed, all seems well. I never did understand the concept of a "bad flash", but I guess that's what happened. It either flashed or it didn't? What do I know? Thanks much...
FIXED. So it looks like if you assigned a font then uninstalled the font without changing the system font first, it will cause this problem. I reinstalled all of the fonts (cause I could not remember which one I had last) and Bam, I could get into my display settings.

I saw a couple of other people were having this issue but I haven't seen a solution yet. After installing ComRom 2.0 I can't get Weather Bug to work. It just force closes. Any other weather app I attempt to install just kind of fails to complete the install. No error or anything. It just doesn't work. Anyone out there having this problem manage to solve it? I have reinstalled the rom cleanly with full data/cache wipes with all the different kernels and it is the same thing every time. Any help would be appreciated.

i dont use weather bug personally, but i can attest that fancy widget pro and beautiful widgets work fine

with how heavily edited the com rom frameworks and many apps are, theres bound to be issues with some 3rd party apps here and there...logcats of the issues help...but dont at all guarantee any of us can fix it or that its even worth trying in some cases
the stock debloated roms are probabaly the best for no/fewer issues/conflicts

I can confirm this. The free version of weatherbug FCed on me, but the pro version works great.
The pro version is working fine and dandy for me as well. It just doesn't update initially after a reboot. But tapping to update once media scanner is done fixes it

Good to know. I had seen that some people had success using the elite version but I hadn't seen anyone that tried both. I can spare the $2 for the pay version. Thanks a bunch.
Randomly there was an update to weather bug today and now it is working fine. Go figure.

Hi im using the xtrsense 5.0 ROM, i'm not able to get on my fb app (version 1.9.6), it cuts off and shows me:

when i log into facebook from the phones browser it shows a security warning that says:

There are problems with the security certificate for this site.

How can i fix this problem ? I tried a GB Rom and it doesn't give me this issue, i don't want to use the GB rom either cos its not as smooth running as the sense rom and also i like my trackball notifications.
Any ideas guys? I tried uninstalling and re installing, no luck. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
I just tried on xtrSENSE; it took a while to refresh, and I did get one "tap to retry" message, but it did finally load.
You can try uninstalling and reinstalling the app, or try the app Friendcaster and see if that works (though it does have ads...)

Thanks for the reply Doogald, Its just weird, i tried uninstalling and reinstalling, even tried clearing the dalvik, and wiping the data and reinstalling the xtrSENSE zip but i still have the same issue. Not sure whats going on. I'm not a fan of the friendcaster app, so i ended up installing Nonsensikal_v161_vanilla Froyo. Its working now, but i miss the whole Sense look. Also how can i get the trackball LED notifications to work?

My dusty recollection is that there is a way. I'm traveling at the moment but will be back home this weekend. If I can dig out the method I'll pass it along.

First - it's been well over 18 months since I tried Nonsensikal - but what happens when you go to settings/cyanogen settings/user interface/led notifications. Is that one of the settings? Can you change some of them to color white to see if that activates trackball notifications?

Thanks that worked, i ended up flashing a gingerbread ROM onto it, and went into the user interface settings for LED notifications, changing it to white did activate the trackball Thanks again!

Awesome. Well, if that didn't work I was going to suggest a Gingerbread ROM next.
Hello, loving themer on my phone but I have only one gripe with it. When touching any of the homescreens you bring up the Themer launcher within what feels like less than a second. One theme I am using has a dialer built in to the homescreen and its just about impossible to complete a phone number without the popup launching. is there anyway to delay this response or disable it?

These bugs will be sorted out once Themer is more stable and we have more resources. We apologize for the inconvenience. For now it might be easier to delete the Dialer Widget until the issue is resolved.

same issue here,have now removed themer,may get back to it once ALL bugs are ironed out just too many for me now

Thanks for that just getting frustrated really,main issue at the moment is whenever I edit a theme I always get a ghost,basically what happens it leaves an image,so I get of the same image.I have tried uninstalling,re installing,phone reboot,factory reset and still have the same problem.I also have the annoying always getting the themer options window.
May try it again over weekend,will let you know how I get on if I do

That's odd, one of the employees also had the ghosting issue but it disappeared after a while.
Have you tried deleting the /sdcard/MyColorScreen folder (remove the Exported folder if you've saved any themes)?
We'll see if there is another way to fix this issue.

Yeah tried removing everything in case anything was corrupted but still have the problem.I did a rollback to earlier version and the problem doesn't exist,so has to be something from the last two releases
Themer keeps reverting back to regular homescreen
Are their settings within the app to keep it from doing??

Yes, I had the Themer test beta a few months ago, I got aggravated and uninstalled it. Then I thought I'd try again (since the new themes were phenomenal) but it still continues to do that.

Are you running a custom ROM? If so please set the DPI/resolution settings to default.
If this isn't the case, please try this again:
1. Uninstall Themer.
2. Delete the /sdcard/MyColorScreen folder (removing the Exported folder if you saved any themes).
3. Reinstall Themer.
