In Samsung's lousy launcher, yeah. Install ADW.Launcher and lose that faux-iOS look.

I actually like the feel of touchwiz. Going with go launcher though. Purely for the looks.

Is the resolution big enough on the wall papers that you're trying to use? I'm using 1600x1280. Otherwise you're going to have to stretch it.

Are you using stock launcher and everything?
Someone mentioned there's a launcher option somewhere to turn it on and off . . . where is that?
Sorry. Android nub here.
Thanks!
Scrollable wallpaper isn't working for me either. I'm coming from a Captivate, where it worked perfectly.
I'm using ADW EX, but I tried Go Launcher also. I tried all the settings in Wallpaper Wizardrii, but it either has no effect or scales it awkwardly. In ADW EX I have selected the option to have scrolling wallpaper, but it does nothing. When I select wallpaper with Gallery app, it is a fixed size selection box, and the resulting wallpaper is horribly zoomed in.
The ONLY way I can get decent wallpaper right now is by viewing it in the mobile browser, and long clicking and doing "set as wallpaper". It actually makes it a decent size, but still doesn't scroll.
I use Go Launcher and downloaded the Zedge app and use it to set my wallpaper and it keeps it a nice size and scrollable.

Unfortunately I can't get scrollable wallpapers to work either, I'm trying to get Multipicture Live Wallpaper to work in conjunction with ADW Launcher EX and no go. This is with "Wallpaper scrolling" enabled too. However, if you want to fix the horribly zoomed in bug from picking a static wallpaper then you can try what I did. Apparently selecting a wallpaper from Gallery results in the zoomed in horribleness you mentioned. Try an app called QuickPic, select a picture through that app, press the downard triangle on the top right and select "set as". Doing it this way at least fixed the horrible zoomed in effect for me.
Unable to scroll wallpaper
Tried ADW ,Go launcher, default launcher nothing worked.. Wallpaper scrolling just not working... Its annoying...
Same still no scrollable wallpaper... WHY

Love Go Launcher on the tab, only issue is the app drawer icon labels are all compressed and hard to read so I just disable them. Other than that no issues. I love scrolling sidebar as the dock.
I still suggest that you all drop Launcher Pro and switch to ADW Launcher Ex. It runs faster and is more customizable.
Anything by the launcher pro guy should be dropped. He never has long term plans and abandons things for extended periods. Uber music has been stagnant as well as LP.

Anyone using Saurom and GoLocker succesfully? Those two don't seem to play well together. Even when selecting No Lockscreen with JKAY the default Samsung one pops up still so I have to unlock the phone twice =P After uninstalling GoLocker the JKAY No Lockscreen option works properly. The JKAY options far out weigh GoLocker for me although this White ICS GoLocker theme is pretty cool.

Widget Locker with a combination of widgets set to overlap in the settings.
The ICS unlock comes with Widget Locker as well as the digital clock. I placed a 1x1 Fancy Widget under the digital clock then re sized the analog (Custom Clock Widget) clock over the two.
How are you finding WidgetLocker working on the Note? I'm hesitant to bother with it (even though I paid for it on previous phones), because of issues I've had with it not blocking the stock lock screen and allowing you to pull down the notification bar.

I have the Telus version (I717) and with any Launcher (Go, Pro, ADW) I get any standard WP to scroll (if you enable it properly in the Launcher). But I cannot get any Live WP to scroll?
I have been reading on this, and there is a lot of confusion, we need to be specific about wich Launcher and what type of WP (Live or Standard) and if standard your image have to be wider then 800 (preferably 1600).
So my understanding is the stock launcher (TouchWiz) does not have the scroll function, it needs to be added with an app or a launcher. I tested that Pro, Go and ADW sroll standard WP fine with the proper settings and image. But so far there is no way to have Live WP to scroll (for those Live WP that have that feature).
1. Can anyone confirm my understanding?
2. And tell me if there is any confirmation of where this limitation is comming from (hardware, OS, Carrier...)?
3. Also is there any other lead or thread about a potential solution?
thanks.

lol your post is so absurd.
Complete differentiation of scrolling wallpaper and live wallpaper saying they shouldnt be discussed together is like taking your car to a mechanic because of a steering problem and refusing to acknowledge anything other than the tire could be a problem, ignoring the wheel and the rest of the chassis.
To top it off as that mechanic works on a full solution you are sitting here sucking your thumb demanding to address the tire only.
Seriously you are so self entitled you should be ashamed. People have at least been trying to find a solution and testing and you haven't done anything but complain that one aspect of the greater problem isn't fixed yet.

I've been hearing you guys talk about it for years now. I tried it before and didn't really appreciate it. Long time ago.
I just slammed it on there and I gotta say, why did I put up with TW all this time!
I set the Grid for my home screen and apps drawer and the Text was perfect unlike the current TW hack.
It imported my TW settings!
You can backup and restore your Setup, Duhhh, freakin' Duhhh... I'm sick of setting of 7 home screens and multiple folders when the ROM chefs start really cooking!
So far I haven't missed much from TW, nothing that outweighs the advantages of Nova.
It doesn't loop around in a circle but I'll live with that if there's not a way around it.
If you like the "looping", you can set infinite scroll in Nova Pro settings.
Nova Settings > Desktop > Infinite Scroll

Plus you have infinite scroll for dock too, under Settings/Dock. And don't forget gestures. With 2 simple gestures I hide the notification bar and the dock, and enjoy nice wallpaper on full screen.
Maybe Im blind - is there a setting on Nova to hide apps in the app drawer?

Under Nova Settings > Drawer > Hide Apps
You can hide apps if you have the paid version.

Are you referring to being able to swipe pages continuously? This can be done in stock.
I do like that it adds pages as needed.

I've read in numerous threads around here about using Nova Launcher instead of Touchwiz to improve overall performance. What functionality is lost in going to Nova if any? I'm a little new to all of this so I apologize if this is a rather basic question.

Best thing to do is just install it an see for yourself. It's not like a launcher is a permanent change to your device.
I use it , but I go back and forth between it and touchwiz...I like to keep it fresh nova is great software.

Anyway to change the settings somewhere to allow to switch to tablet UI, so that the status bar is at the bottom..?
