Does anyone know any good armband for this phone? Looking to run with it.
I experimented with a few things and ended up going with a running belt with a pouch around the waist, used a whole punch for a hole for the headphones and called it a day. Always had issues with the arm bands causing chafing.

this one looks good: http://www.elitextreme.com/veblsparca1.html

I've had good luck with TuneBelt. (Sorry I don't have enough post to show the URL but just add a www and a .com)
The AB83 fits the Amaze perfectly when it's not in a case, but I just order the AB85 to use without removing my Ballastic cover.
Hope that helps,

Has anyone tried a hold like THIS ONE. I'm thinking about getting one so I can use it while running, but I'm just afraid of the phone falling(Flying) out. And does anyone know if the touch screen would work through the covering?
Looks good, but yeah I hear your concern about the phone might be flying out while running and swing the arm to hard.
It doesn't seem to have anything on top of the insertion point to secure the phone. Maybe you have to mod it a little, i dunno.
i wouldn't worry too much their pretty snug i have one for my itouch and it doesn't move at all when you tighten the velcro band around your arm it basically seals itself
Edit: and to save you some money their is also this one http://cgi.ebay.com/Blue-SPORT-ARM-...868534?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item27bc4cb636
this one is just like the one you linked http://cgi.ebay.com/Sport-Gym-Armba...655725?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item20bac8806d
I use this:
http://www.amazon.com/Tune-Belt-Incredible-smartphones-protective/dp/B003ZJGZ8O/ref=pd_sxp_f_pt
I used it for my OG EVO and am now using it for my 3D. It works great. It's quite snug, but that's how it should so it doesn't fall out. I haven't noticed any condensation like that one reviewer stated. I've used it for long runs - half marathon, 10ks, etc.
And will I be able to use the touch screen at all through the clear cover on the arm band?
yes, you can use the touch screen through the clear cover

Will it fit a 3VO with a TPU case?
I Don't think so. It must be nude.

I use the old one I had for my EVO 4G and it works fine too. Can't remember where I got it, but it was a snug fit with a flap at the top to stop it from flying out. I'll try to take a picture later.
I bought one of the red ones that OP mentioned and it fits well and haven't had any issues with it at all. The quality I was a little worried about when I bought it but it seems to be pretty decent.

I end up buying one armband for the ATT infuse 4G off ebay for about $7.5 shipped from USA (HK is cheaper but i didn't want to wait that long), I reasoned that since the infuse is both taller and wider (but less thick) a 3VO in TPU case should hopefully fit.
I should get it later this week or early next week, will report then.

Thanks, I ordered this one off of ebay.
Anyone find a armband that will fit the Rezound? I havent had any luck. Thanks
I do a LOT of running and biking (marathons/triathlons). Me personally I don't care so much for armbands but I use my phone exclusively as music player. I use something called the SPI belt...good product, made in the USA and it WORKS. Have many many hours/miles of use on mine (including a Tough Mudder race, 2 half Ironman races and several half marathons).
I just checked there website. Never thought about using one of these. I am assuming you have to leave the zipper a little open to run the cord through? Which one would you recommend? Thanks!
There is one on amazon.com looks like it would work great.

Tune belt makes one that works: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B003ZJGZ8O/ref=cm_sw_r_an_am_ap_am_us?ie=UTF8
I use this and it fits with the otter box commuter case... albeit tightly.
I'm wondering if it would fit the Rezound with the extended battery and very thin skin??
I like iArmbands. I had one for my EVO and just got one for my Rezound.

Here's a belt that looks like an arm band but it's a belt:
http://www.amazon.com/Tune-Belt-iPhone-ThunderBolt-Samsung/dp/tech-data/B000M51T12/ref=de_a_smtd
This looks interesting too... was made for old school cd players so there's a nice amount of room in the pocket:

Actually, this one looks a little better, I might just get one for hiking:

anyone know if they are any good? im looking to order a case with a holster and they seem to have a pretty good price on htcpedia and eBay. can't find anything, reviews and such, on them though
All I can tell you is the place where they make them is not far from where I live in the greater Baltimore area. Was thinking about getting it to try it out. I have only seen Radio Shack with the brand and they only have the model for the HTC Evo 4G 3D. They do not know if they are getting that accessory for the 4G LTE.
I went ahead and ordered it today. My phone is being shipped Monday by Sprint and I am not taking any chances with getting my accessories locally from any retail outlet on launch day.
Just want to activate my phone and put it in a temporary case for now. Will get a permanent case later.
There's a Youtube review of it if you just look up:
HTC EVO 4G LTE Dura-Gel Waffle TPU Case
Looked pretty good to me and it's already available, so I went ahead and bought it.
I ordered the case/holster combo, too. I hope I like it. It looks rather bulky but also like it will protect the phone very well. The good thing is that htcpedia seems to have a great return policy, if necessary.
Just wanted to post back and say I got one of these (since tpu-cases.com was quite ready with theirs) and it looks great..... Just a weeeeee bit lonely without a device to go inside of it.

Case and holster: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BZ7zS0n-2w
TPU case only: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9806oi5yoQ
That holster looks very unsecure. I looks like it is only being held on the top and bottom. Very little security from the sides.
I received the Ventev case and holster today. It's too bulky for me, so I'm sending it back. Of course, without the phone I can't attest to the fit and quality, but it looks like it's pretty well built. It's just not my preference. I guess by the time the phone gets here, I should have found the perfect case. Going to give the Body Glove Tactic Case next; I like the look of it. I have a decent temporary case until I find a great permanent one.
has anyone found or have a legit known good arm band for the phone? Im looking for one that is MADE for the lte EVO so it never has a risk of falling out while running.
Just got the one from iArmbands. Without a case, the phone goes in well but the flap at the top is a bit tight to wrap over the phone. I use the Seidio Surface case, and while I can get the phone into the band, it takes a bit of struggling with that flap.
Without a case, the phone is actually a bit too narrow for this armband. With a case the phone is the right width, but the height is a bit short. The screen is controllable through the clear cover in either case.

I don't think this is what you are looking for but shopandroid.com has a waterproof case that "mounts" on your arm. It claims to be for the EVO LTE but looks kinda generic to me.

thats the one you are talking about?
I wouldnt mind using that even tho i wont be able to change songs or see the screen, but i use pandora and just let the songs play so i dont mind.
thanks for posting that site its really good! very cheap items! they have my TPU case on there for 10 bucks when i bought it for 18! =p
I ended up getting the iArmbands case for HTC phones in Otterbox cases. If you go to their site they have the model number there. It fits great with my Otterbox Commuter. It even fit my nephew's Droid Razr Maxx in an Otterbox Defender.
The only thing I don't like is that the armband itself isn't elastic and is very short. I contacted iArmbands about this and they recommended an extender from one of their competitors. I will check the name and add a follow up post.

Ah TuneBelt was what they recommended. They are only a $1.75 on Amazon. Had I known I would have bought one with the case.
One other note, I had to cut the case for the headphone cable as the holes do not align.
TuneBelt has a case that is made for large phones like the Evo 4G LTE in Otterbox and Seido cases. I am tempted to buy that with the extender just to see how well it works. It wouldn't hurt to have a spare in the car in case I forget to throw it in my gym bag.

is this one a bit larger ?

I noticed the one you reviewed was the AB85 and this is the AB86? I just want to make sure I'm getting the larger one (hard to find any specs on them) great review btw..

Thanks, yeah, it took lots of digging for me to finally decide which one to get. I was a little hesitant b/c of the model number difference as well.
According to the descriptions on Amazon:
AB85 - Maximum size: Length: 5.5 inches; Circumference (2X width plus 2X depth) up to 7.75 inches.
AB86 - Maximum length: 5.4" - Maximum circumference (2X width plus 2X depth): 6.5". Design not intended for smartphones with protective cases. See models AB84 or AB85 for those needs.
I emailed them as well, and although they were prompt with responses, they weren't all that helpful so I just went by what was on the description.
I just ran a race recently and saw a runner with an actual belt-type case for her iPhone. I'd really like something like that, it's almost like a tiny fanny pack with the phone sitting lengthwise at the small of the back. I have an old Tune Belt for a CD player that's this style, I was hoping they made one for phones.

Joems,
Do you have any case on your phone? I am wondering if the phone will fit in that armband with a diztronic TPU case. Thanks.

I also have that case. It does fit. It is bit harder to get it out of the arm band.
I usually just pop off diztronic when I use the arm band.

I searched for a case you are searching for, too, when I bought my evo. And the closest one to match my needs was this: http://www.amazon.de/Krusell-schwar...=sr_1_4?s=ce-de&ie=UTF8&qid=1351778962&sr=1-4
It actually fits the size of the device very good, you have to pull it out otherwise it won't come out. The downside is that the material is not long-lasting, it already shows wear marks after 8 months of usage.
I would like to have something similar to the original HD2 case but there is none.
I'm using the case that came with my HD2. It's a bit short and leaves part of the speaker grill outside, but this way I can see the notifications LED without taking out the phone.
try amazon or ebay.
