Nope. See my post in this thread, it answers your questions:

Basically headsets that work for the iPhone or HTCs or newer Samsung-models won't work.
Headsets that work for Sony Ericsson, Nokia etc will work.
You could use an adapter though.
Edit: Beats HEADSETS will not work, but if it's just the earphones without a button or a mic, it will work perfectly.
A friend of mine has broke the digitizer on his neo v, on ebay we found one digitizer but it says its for neo MT15, the neo v is MT11, but it looks exactly the same. Will this one fit and work with the neo v?
At official service of se at greece they didnt know to answer if it works with neo v.
Thanks in advange and sorry for my bad english.
i think it will work , neo and neo v are the same device with just a different camera sensor
So i want to use a DAC/Amp with my Xperia Neo, so that they can drive my headphones and also improve o the sound quality. Seeing that it works on the Galaxy S3 i was wondering if it could be done for Xperia phones as well. It seems to me that for AOSP mods we'd just need a kernel with the required module. Anyone know if it's possible?
Yesterday I bought a urBeats headphones for my sk17i (xperia mini pro).

Hello guys! I have a serious problem. I just bought Headphones, the Aerial7 Phoenix. But my Xperia Neo V (Ultimate 3.0.2 ROM) doesn't recognize it at all. It shows me a msg, that this accessory doesn't supported. I google it , and i found a solution. I connected the headphones with my Neo V via Skype Adapter which included in the package. On the other hand, I would like to learn if any other solution exists like a apk or mod to work my headphones without the adapter. I am waiting your response. Thank you in advance.

No there is no such app for your requirements
Because it's not a software problem
You headset is not compatible with your phone you should have checked it prior to buying it
Replace it if you can otherwise use Skype adapter provided along with the headset
Sent from my Xperia Neo V using Tapatalk 2
