dont get mad,i cant post links to another website, but really just make a search of the file that you need on google, that will do the job.
i dont even know what kernel is
here's what i did:
1. i enabled usb debbuging (in aplications)
2. i run X10FlashTool.exe (program opened)
3. i choose "flash" and selected "azuzu - Kernel downgrade" and i hit ok (another window opened, and it asked me to connect phone in flash mode which i did
4. after some time program told me to turn phone on and i did it and sony ericsson screen appeared and that screen remained long time. now...when i plug usb, program shows me this message:
"18/050/2012 19:50:02 - INFO - Installed version of busybox : BusyBox v1.17.2 (2010-09-05 03:37:08 CDT) multi-call binary."
and sony ericsson screen is still there and it wont turn on, even after replacing battery, screen just reappear

Yeah You didn't do the "azuzu - Kernel upgrade" after rooting. Just open the flashtool and flash it (in flash mode)
holy **** man, that worked, phone turned on, program directed me to enable usb debugging and unknown sources in application settings on phone, which i did.
is my phone now rooted?
yes it is

With superuser You can allow apps to have root access
To remove the unnecessary apps go to system/apps/

I updated my x10mini to 2.1 NOW I CANNOT INSTALL APPS THE market just says download starting and dosen't do anything. And My Applications Icon(in 1.6) on the phone is GONE i cannot install aps from my SD card like i used to helP!!!
Mod edit : mind your attitude please. You are unlikely to get an answer by asking in this way.
I remember, I have the same problem with my phone (1.6 that time).
Try going to: Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications -> (find market, and uninstall the update - it's in it when you click at market icon).
Then just go to market app, and try downloading. Good luck.
Tried that on 1.6 then when i'm on2.1 the updater is already disabled
Well, your right. Just checked that. Try hit the menu button in market, and go to "Downloaded/Installed", and see if you can do something. Also try reset your phone, or in worst scenario just rapair via pc companion.
GO to settings-apps-market-clear recent data
Sent from my E10i using XDA App
Deleted pc companion while updating it then tried to install it = cant.
SEUS maybe? And define "cant". The app wont install, or update cannot be performed? So low on info from you
Connected usb install pc companion. Installing ur phone is nt connected
mod edit : language removed. Please mind the language and attitude

h4kim - you need to visit a doctor and learn some manners. get lost until than.
Try this:
Install 91 PC Suit for android from http://91-pc-suite.software.informer.com/
and connect your phone with USB debugging ON
Your phone shows up if it is connected properly.
If you are using windows right click the icon in the quick launch and for one of the options you have a arrow. Click on it and you will find English at the bottom, select it, now everything will turn English.
Now go to System and Apps. There you can install apps onto your phone from your PC.
Please be patient and nice, everyone has problems here
May be I am too late.

h4kim, your frustration does not entitle you to being rude. No one is obliged to help you, we offer advice freely. If the advice doesn't solve your problem then look further.
Swearing at those who try to help you will not inspire assistance from other forum users.
I have closed this thread for several reasons.
1. OP, you have posted in the wrong place. This is development, NOT Q&A) You are asking for help here, so this belongs in general or Q&A.
2. OP, please try and use a descriptidescriptive title, rather than profanity, whether starred out or not.
3. Do not flame those who are kind enough to try and help you with this beginnerbeginner question. This is a very common issue, usually caused by a server-side problem with the market servers. Usually clearing data as described, and then waiting for the issues to go away is best.
@All, rather than flaming in threads like this, please use the report post feature to alert the moderator team, and refrain from flaming yourself. Those posts have been removed.
Finally, moved as not development.
Hi guys, yep another newbie
Stressed to the max and have read threads here and elsewhere til my eyes bled, watched so many Tube Vid's I think I've actually fried my brain
(Also having trouble with Flashtool but can't post there yet, running Ubuntu 12.04,tried Wine and XP in a VM to no avail)
I have an unlocked Xperia X10i that was rooted by a mate using an older version of Flashtool and he said the Firmware was the 2nd last one for Xperia X10. (can't post link yet)
By the looks of the "Settings"- "About",it shows what seems by all the reading here that its stock 2.3.3
It reads:
Android V.2.3.3
Baseband v.2.1.71
Kernel v.2.6.29-00054-g5f01537
[email protected] #1
Build number. 3.0.1.G.0.75
I've used Apps to check I have root and some say I do,some just hang until I hit the back button and I get the same error I get with all SU related Apps. It says " Activity Superuser Request(in application Superuser)is not responding."
I have used SU Update Fixer and it says:
No problems detected.
Checking signatures.....OK!
If I use SU Binary updater it says.
Downloading manifest...fail!
Hit try again and it says:
Sorry!
The Apllication Superuser(process com.noshufuo.android.su)has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. [Force close]
Basically,I'm totally over it and stressed as it it is.
I would like to get root access and use Flashtool to rid the bloatware, install Xrecovery, but atm to fix the audio stutter so I can use it for my relaxation stuff without snapping out of a meditative state....then when I get the hang of things well.....:highfive: onto better things
Mainly for now,I'd like to dump the bloatware crud and use the relaxation recordings...god knows I need them!!
I do have the xRecovery Installer on the SD card but when I launch that, it hangs and I get the earlier error.
A few other odd things like not being able to backup all the stuff and I have Titanium Backup Pro showing in the "Manage Applications" but it's gone from the Menu(not that it worked because of the SU problem.)
I have searched and searched and until I'm 100% on the whole Flashtool thing, I'm not game to go stuff it and do another root...not that I have that nailed yet.
Sorry for the long winded explanation guys,it's really doing my head in.
Any help would be greatfully accepted.
Many thanks,
Cheers,
Mushy
Hi all, when I bought the Lenovo A916 phone from www.lightinthebox.com it came with spyware included in the Stock Rom(which had been modified by 3rd party), impossible to get rid of unless you root the phone, because its located in system files.
Beware, if you do a factory reset the spyware will be back! Also, do NOT use your phone for banking or anything else with passwords, before you have removed the spyware since it contains a keylogger!
You can flash it with new Rom(also known as Firmware) or a clean Stock(original) Rom - that will remove the spyware. You have to be rooted for this to work.
Right now my phone has A916_S1205_141013 rom - below there is a link to this Rom - its multilingual - I have not yet had the time to try it myself and don't know if its clean.
http://firmwarefile.com/lenovo-a916
I have removed all the spyware, after I rooted my phone, and its working as it should - But as I said earlier, the spyware will return if I do factory reset.
If you bought this phone on the net like most of us, then I suggest that you install the following and scan for spyware. Take note, that the spyware is not from Lenovo!
Avast, Avira, ESET, 360 security, Malwarebytes - use all of them, since there are always something one don't find but the other one will.
Be aware that something can go wrong, and I'm not responsible for you trying this out.
The best way to root is Kingo root. But first, attach your phone to your PC/laptop(make its connected to the internet) and on the phone choose MTP, now the phone will install drivere for its first use - this is important!
Then you click the icon in the notification area in windows, to dissconnect usb devices and dissconnect your phone. Wait a few min, - then re-connect and this time (on he phone) choose the last option which say something like "Virtual CD". If autorun is enabled on your pc, you will then get an option to browse this virtual CD - do so!
Copy the content of the virtual CD to a new folder on your pc, then run and install LenovoUsbDriver_autorun_1.0.12.exe - this is important. Don't bother with the other things there since its in chinese.
Then get Kingo root from here:
http://www.kingoapp.com/android-root.htm
Click to download it from CNET, be aware that it might get caught by your antivirus - not that it contains virus, but because its used to root phones. If it got to you pc safely, then run it and it will download the real rooting software - make sure to say NO/Decline/uncheck to any offer that comes up(like install Yahoo). Stupid and annoying way CNET try to impose their stuff onto people.
Now, the real software has been downloaded(android_root.exe) - run it and follow the guide. There are also a guide on Kingo root's webpage.
After you have rooted your phone, run the antivirus Apps again, this time you will be able to remove some but not all of the spyware. Make a list of those you can't remove - then go to the superuser app you can remove the software that contains spyware and cannot be cleaned otherwise. Be careful what you remove.
I found spyware in these and removed with the supeuser app
Trojan.Agent.mq in /system/app/CallerID.apk
PUP.Adware.ShinyMob.a in /mnt/sdcard/funweather.apk
Backdoor.Ginmaster in /system/app/Weatherservice_K517_u002_20140910.apk
Trojan.Fadeb.a in /system/app/Twitter_qd_3025.apk
Do NOT remove the ThemeCenter app!! Its used its used by the system to set wallpaper. If it has spyware then you can remove it and replace it with the one in this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63651753&postcount=42
Good luck!
JBJ

I think now I can Root. Because my phone now have another rom . I got this new rom from official Jio Care . I went there because I bricked my device when tried to flash a recovery found from the internet. I tried this flashing because the 'factory test mode' was gone after I tried to root with king root .it was showing a 'no command' error when I am trying to go to 'factory test mode' I did that flashing only to restore that. But it ended in a bricked device. So I had to go there and they helped me. I also asked them for stock rom but they didn't give me. I didn't check king root yet with this rom. The current rom i have is same as yours. Ls 4006.
But I don't clearly think which I had before. I guess that was Ls 4007.

Hello.. I tried again. But King Root still not working.
Can you give full details about your OS.
Since you have successfully rooted your device, you are now able to make a full ROM backup of your device. Can you make and upload your ROM and recovery backup here in XDA. ?
That will help many.

So have you uninstalled all those bloatwares from your phone .?
If you did so , you had any problems because of the so-called system app removal?.
I'm asking this because I used to disable all those useless system apps , but as a result this phone was restarting frequently without my knowledge. So I did suspect this app disabling and so I restored all these disableed apps. And then the problem solved. You had any issues like this,?
Now I heard about an bloatware removal tool and I wish to try that to get a rid of this bloatwares.
What you say?

I'm a little worried because I don't have any stock rom backup so if something went wrong like something I mentioned in the above post , I have to go again the LYF Care . So you please just check whether all those apps mentioned above are removed or not.
If you still have any apps mentioned above just take it's backup apk using SD Maid and uninstall those apps. So that you can check whether any system instability arises due to the uninstallation.
Please check right now and tell me. I'm waiting for your reply.

You would probably be doing so for freeing up some system space.I will suggest you to update app to system(apps like play store, play services and some other useful system apps keep the original system stock app even if you update the application). So you should integrate update to system which will remove the old system app by updated one so you will have much more free space and whenever you factory reset your device ,you will get the updated system apps installed.

I have downloaded those files you have uploaded. I have a few questions about it.
Did you ever tried to flash it to phones other than yours. ?
If you have done it, did you flash it using just fastboot or used any other special software?
You have also provided a twrp recovery. But that recovery doesn't have boot.img and system.img missing. That doesn't seems okay . Are you sure about it ? Please check it.
How did you root your device?
I been trying Kingroot for a while but it's not working for me.
My build number is LYF_LS_01_12
I am also planning to build a custom ROM based on the stock ROM because in the latest update, they made the icons look really ugly . Also it will be a practice for me learn custom ROMing.
But before I proceed, your suggestions would be helpful for me.
So please make some time to answer those questions above.
Once again thank you very much for your effort to upload those files with that slow connection.
Very thank full to you

I have downloaded those files you have uploaded. I have a few questions about it.
Did you ever tried to flash it to phones other than yours. ?
If you have done it, did you flash it using just fastboot or used any other special software?
You have also provided a twrp recovery. But that recovery doesn't have boot.img and system.img missing. That doesn't seems okay . Are you sure about it ? Please check it.
How did you root your device?
I been trying Kingroot for a while but it's not working for me.

Not flashable ????
I'm no developer yet but I thought you are. I was so happy when I see those files. It's sad when you says not flashable.
But okay , I am learning about flashing and custom ROMing and I will do my level best to help you guys.
I will be soon starting a new thread with full details about those files given by you. Let's see what Devs here talks about it. I really need to root and custom ROM it. Only problem is that I don't have any other phone for testing. I got only this one for all of my needs. I thought you already flashed it in your phone.
Anyway, thanks for your help and let's see what I can do.
Bye. See you .
Hello,
I have a Ulefone Armor 6E
The stock ROM is: GQ3071RF3_EEA_20190509_V08(EU version), Armor_6E_RF3_EEA_V01_user_20190509
I rooted the ROM with Magisk
There is a new OTA ROM update available via the smartphone (Wireless update "Armor_6E_RF3_EEA_V01_20190713-2105")
This update is not available to download via Ulefone Website (we can only install via the smartphone)
I didn't keep the "Armor_6E_RF3_EEA_V01_20190713-2105" update because Magisk didn't work with it (bluetooth, wifi and other functions didn't work)
I kept " GQ3071RF3_EEA_20190509_V08(EU version)" because bluetooth/wifi and other functionnalities worked fine, ROOT included.
BUT:
Here are my problems:
I have some Android applications which require the "Android Accessibility Service" to work properly:
- Eset Mobile Antivirus and / or Kaspersky Mobile Antivirus
- MaxLock or other Apps to lock my android Apps with a sheme
The problem is that each time I reboot my phone, the accessibility service access that i enabled for apps like Eset / MaxLock TURN OFF.
The settings are not saved on my device, i have to grant access each time i reboot the device, wich is a problem for apps like these.
(i precise that Maxlock/Kaspersky/Eset are "Admin Apps" and are still "Admin Apps" after a reboot, so these settings doesn't change)
An other Setting that change after a reboot are:
In "Security" / "Admin Apps", the service from Google "Find my device" reactivate after a reboot automaticaly (if disabled before a reboot)
Any ideas on How to save all my settings once and for all for my device Ulefone Armor 6E rooted with Magisk and with this stock ROM ??
I already tried to activate/disactivate "Battery Saver" (which could deactivate the accessibility service) and to give these apps (Maxlock...) the right to modify system settings (in "App Info" in "Settings"), it doesn't change anything, they deactivate after a reboot.
Please Help
Thanks in advance
Quentin

Your phone is rooted, try putting a script in init.d to apply those settings on boot automatically.
If your phone does not support init.d, you can use apps like Kernel Adiutor to emulate init.d support.

OK Thank you but:
I'm new in root and things like that, so talking about script is a little too much for me...
I checked my device, there is a /etc/init folder, i have no /etc/init.d folder
Does that mean my device support init.d ?
If not, i'm ok to download Kernel Auditor, but what script do I have to put in it ? I'm not capable of writing one at all !
Thank you in advance for your help Augustoandro
@Lilxtreme1
