This is awesome, but I would like fully customized keyboard remapping if possible, similar to "Game Keyboard" on market. :X
Wait...how do you mean to use space for 2 keys?

I would suggest to set Camera and Vol+ as L and R Trigger.
You could make left and right arrow as Vol+ and Vol- for the Script.

Paul, have you seen on market app called GameKeyboard (paid)? Any opinions about it, or ideas for this mod?
its difficult to hold r and l buttons while pressing on direct and another buttons. so i think we need option to sticky r and l keys and some way to press combo keys. so that will sound better.

This is an app ported over from the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet. It's used for note taking and has handwriting recognition and palm rejection. I find it pretty useful for taking notes for my classes. I made it into a flashable zip instead of requiring the use of ADB.

This app is another one I pulled from the Lenovo Thinkpad. It's called FlexT9 Keyboard. It acts a normal keyboard along with something similar to swype. There's another option that allows you to write in the space provided and it translates your writing to text. This can be used anywhere that you can use th keyboard. Personally, I have a hard time getting it to recognize the words I write but maybe you guys will have better luck
A quick pointer: go to the help section in the settings to really learn how to use it.
Let me know what you guys think!

I'm interested in a flashable zip for the View...however have no idea how to provide you the mount points and no idea how to provide you with the build.prop. Any View owners that can help?
do you only need the build.prop? I could upload that for you
The build.prop is easily pulled via adb.
You can give the OP the required information by posting the following:
The output of the
Code:
adb shell mount
and/or
Code:
adb shell cat /proc/emmc
Here is what was pulled from those two commands

Ok thanks for the quick reply. i am flashing this right now. BTW while i have your attention i have a quick question about your DeSensified ROM (i don't qualify yet for being able to post in dev section). Do you know if the MHL connection is fully functioning? The reason that I ask is when I used roms with sense removed on my Sensation I encountered problems with MHL. Thanks again.
Alright someone with a view pm me to test it please
I recently insalled Ice cream pureness to my neo. It used to work fine until now. My statusbar went gray, i can still pull it down and use it, but i can't check the time.

Undo recent changes you did to modify statusbar, in other words roll back to those settings you had when statusbar was working perfectly.
Not a perticular suggestion, but it works in many cases.

I've reverted but still. Don't know what it is but as soon as a notification appears this wierd bug is gone... it's still annoying to watch a gray statusbar until something happens.
I hope it'll be fixed soon somehow:silly:

What the app has thus far:
Click to collapse
1) Swipable pages. There are 2 (for now - hoping to enable "new tabs/pages") swipable views that can be navigated independantly (just like you would on a desktop computer with 2+ explorer windows open.
2) Files can be cut, copied and then pasted within or across the swipable pages. (long press anywhere on an item or check the boxes in order to bring up the "contextual action mode" (screenshot 3)
3) The drop down at the top of the page displays the folder hierarchy for the currently selected folder view.
4) The start of a file details screen (Screenshot 5). There are a lot of functions that people can perform on files (MD5 checking roms is a big one in my mind) and I just don't like the idea of relegating those functions to dialog boxes or menus. I know that this kind of view isn't something that any of the other file explorers have, but I think there is value in departing from that convention. Note: MD5 and permissions aren't implemented yet. Soon though.
5) MD5 summer and checker is now working! I tested it on a 100+mb rom and it ran pretty quickly (5 or 6 seconds) on my Galaxy Nexus, so Rom Flashers might enjoy using this one. I don't have the UI polished to my satisfaction yet, but the functionality is there.
6) Sharing files is now enabled. The updated ShareActionProvider for 4.0+ will be coming at some point.
7) Opening/installing files/apks! Bugs aside, the app now handles almost all of the usual file explorer functions.
8) Themes! Switch them under general settings, and then exit if switching between dark and light or darkactionbar to get the text colors to reload properly. Working on fixing this.
