Hey, I went to flash a stock 4.0.1 rom, and I can't get out of ClockworkMod. It says 'Back menu button disabled'
If I hit power, it switches between the Android logo dude thing, and CWM.
PLEASE HELP!!!
scroll up 4 times..so keep pressing up until you enable the power button

I'm a Newb Here so please bare with me here. So i recently rooted my LG Optimus v from virgin mobile and i tried to install a custom rom so i put the files onto my SD card and tried to go into recovery mode to flash the files but it does not work it just goes into a dark blue screen. I press HOME+VOL UP+POWER BUTTON and HOME+VOL DOWN+POWER BUTTON and none of them worked so i download app that makes it go into recovery but still a blue screen.So does anyone know how to fix this problem
when it goes to a dark blue screen you are using the wrong button. the menu and home keys might be backwards like on my recovery. I have to use the menu key to select options from recovery. and the code to get into recovery is power, vol down, and home button in that order
My Phone is stuck in a bootloop after installing the artic rom...its still looping and won't turn of.
I installed the thing where after you install a rom you boot into recovery but the rom skipped it even tho i installed the zip after i flashed the rom aswell..
I managed to get into AP Fastboot flash mode but i don't know how to flash my phone back to stock...can someone please help??
You can turn off the phone by pressing simultaneously
power and volume down (-) buttons about 5 secs.
Then yuo can think about what i can to do next ;-)

My phone is in boot loop right now and when I hit power and vol down, my phone with continually vibrate for about 5 seconds and then the screen goes out... but then it just boots up again
You can try push volume down button (and keep it pressed down)
at the same moment that screen goes out, maybe you can reach
AP Fastboot-mode in this way?
Well I can get to the menu for AP Fastboot
But im at work.. i dont have the file or RSDLight here at work.
But I can get to the recovery and it gives me the option for "factory reset" or "apply update from SDcard".
If I have a backup from bootstrap, can I use that file under the "apply update from SDcard" option?
EDIT: No you cant apply from SD (a recovery)
I think that yuo can't use backup from bootstrap via Motorolas recovery...
Maybe only way is install correct OFFICIAL Motorola ROM via AP fastboot.

you close but it goes against what he just said. Once ur device powers.of press the volume keys then hold the power button ...it'll put u in recovery. You then need to scroll down twice I think to fast boot and press the up key to select....
You can only go down in this recovery. When you press up it selects. You will then need to follow a.vid on YouTube called how to restore Droid RAZR

Hey guys. I made a video showing what I mean but that didn't work out. I'll try and explain it the best I can.
So I have an HTC Evo 3D rooted with Revolutionary with S-Off. The phone was working fine until recently. I have ClockWorkMod 5.0.2.0
When I go into CWM (power + volume down), it loads fine but won't let me access any menus. When I scroll down and select any option, the list just goes away and the CWM logo is all that's on my screen. If I click power again, the menu comes back. No matter what I select, this happens, even power down. The only way to reset my phone is to pull the battery.
Any ideas as to why this is happening? If there is an issue with the version, is there a way to upgrade/downgrade versions?
I would really like to load things from my SD card again.

You pressed the power button to select options?supposingly you should use the volume button to scroll,power button for back and home button for select...

How can I fix my rooted HTC EVO 3D??
Hi, I have bought the htc evo 3d three months ago and I rooted it at May...yesterday I've tried to install a rom and then it stucks..the clockwork mod doesn't work and now I can't power it on....what can I do???Is there way to fix that or not?? Please find a way....

I have exactly the same problem with my ZTE Blade, CWM5.0.2.0
I can navigate through the home menu OK, but selecting any option only results in a blank screen with the CWM logo in the middle.
A button press takes me back to the home menu again.
Any ideas anyone?

today i unlocked my atrix for the first time ,instaled a custom rom which did not work properly. i then tried to replace the rom with centrino gt ,it wouldnt go past the start screen so i removed the battery . i then held the on and vol down button scrolled to android recovery hit the on button and the screen just went blank --tried it several times same thing --can anyone help?

When you boot with the volume button and hit volume down to get to Android Recovery, you need to press *volume up* to select the option and boot into recovery, not power.

i recently tried to flash hatka battery life after reading a guide, saying it was okay to flash the rom first now i am stuck with my droid dna not being able to turn off and only restarting. can someone please help me i am able to get to lockscreen and settings but the screen is black and i get android htcdialer has stopped when it opens. whenever i try to adb it says error
If your phone is frozen on a particular screen, keep holding down the power button, you will see your bottom 3 icons flash repeatedly, Keep holding the power button until it powers off (restarts), the hold time varies-sometimes you need to repeat this process. Once off (actually restarting), hold the volume down key in and it will re boot into fastboot/recovery, you can scroll to recovery and then restore (hope you have a backup)
