Hey everyone! I'm on Mik Runny right now, but I'm thinking of switching to either Miui v4 or Cyanogenmod 9. What do you guys think is better?

We can't tell you what rom will be "better" for you, only you can decide that. Just flash each one and run for a few days and see what you like.
Definitely miui...its more polished...i have tried both..

I had that right before switching to MIUI, Mik rom charges extremely fast my battery. Last longer that viper rom, and is on kernel. With that being said, MIUI v4 is polished and smooth, for NOW, I'd say MIK rom is better because camera works and so does on/off screen effect, once Chad. Goodman releases new MIUI kernel, this will be THE BEST ROM EVER MADE.

OK seriously dude, just flash one of them, and try it out for a few days. Then flash the other, and use that for a few days. It literally takes 5 minutes to flash a rom, just try both and see. Again, WE cannot tell you what rom you will like better. Just try them and see.

Cm7 had a few bumps along the way but sticking it out has definitely been worth it. Everything runs better than perfect. Great wifi, gps that locks in under 10secs, super smooth and super fast. Not to mention an amazing amount of customizability.

As far as I know this the only kernel that's current with cm7: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=970543
You flash it just like a rom; wipe cache/dalvik from recovery and flash the zip. And of you ever want the stock kernel back you just wipe cache/dalvik and re-flash cm7. You wont lose any data/settings.

I'm a big fan of Liberated 2.2.2, I think I was using it the first day I had my phone. Everything is working perfect and with moderate use I can squeeze 2 days out of the battery. I live in a little bit of a valley so at home I put the phone on Edge and use wifi if I want to go online. Haven't tried CM7 in a few months so I probably will again at some point, just being lazy. CM7 or CM8 w/sense 3.0? When that gets released I'll be all over it!
Ditto-ed on CM7, did it for a friend, and all his friends on the later models (stock roms wildfire s and like) are still wowing XD

I recently purchased an HTC EVO 3D after realizing the HTC EVO 4G just was cutting it - I found the MeanROM and installed. Simply amazing - blazing fast and serious perks for a dual-core smartphone. Definitely appreciate the great work the team committed to making a truly viable ROM for the EVO 3D using the latest OTA.
This will only be the beginning of you flashing roms...make sure and check out InfectedRom Eternity 3.0 and see what beats audio is all about.
v6 rock with leedroids blue theme
I went ahead and installed the blue theme on the MeanROM. It definitely adds a color theme I really like (blue is my color BTW). However, the battery ICON is a little weird looking, but it looks pretty sharp. I think the MeanROM is for me at this time because it is definitely quality work with respect to the 3D phone.

Sent from an EVO 3D of the Afro Samurai running a "Mean Rom"
I agree. I have run CleanROM DE pretty much since it came out, and finally took the plunge on MeanROM today. I'm amazed at the speed. It's as fast as DE was overclocked, maybe a bit more and it's stock speed! Sure there are things I'll miss from DE, but I have more to play with now. I have done some tweaking with MeanROM for my personal taste, and am considering a fork possibly. A ROM for those who want to rock.
Honestly, the first thing I noticed is going from 100% to 99% in 3 1/2 hours. I kid you not - the battery life is extraordinarily solid. In addition, the SpeedTests are displaying 4 down / 4 up on average.
If I had one request - if for more tweak of the signal, battery, and scroll glow... just a thought.
Thanks
Meanrom is a very stable, fast, and battery generous ROM. It is my current daily. I have also used virus roms and liked them.

Beats is not fully supported yet in any ROM based on the latest OTA because there is no kernel support for it at this time. Soon though
But yes, I 2nd the Eternity 3.0 nomination to try. IMO it is the best Sense based ROM, with MeanROM being a very close second (for the latest OTA ROM's anyway). I like the styling and coloring of Eternity more than Mean. Try downloading r98
MeanRom and Leedroid
Hey I'm fairly new to this. I have been running meanrom for a little bit now started at v1.7 and today I will be updating to v2.8. The question I have is I recently saw Leedroid Tweaks CDMA v4.0.3. And I have a couple of questions. First, which version do I choose the ota or the non ota? Second I assume I install Meanrom v2.8, then the same way I installed meanrom I install the leedroid tweaks.zip file. Right?
Thanks! I haven't done enough posts to post in the meanrom dev forum, so hopefully this is a good place to ask this.

That's something they'll work on. If you've used AOSP in the past you'll know that you can get some pretty solid battery life. Sadly it seems like ICS is more of a power hog than GB. Which is okay with me, considering how much better it is in every other category.
Warm ICS with the quickness.
Alright, I need some advice from other people. What is the best AOSP ICS Rom for the EVO 3D CDMA? I see a lot of them, but I can't tell the difference really. Suggestions?

I've never used it, but I've heard that clean Rom developer's edition is pretty good. While technically not aosp, it is a sense Rom with a lot of the sense stuff removed. The true aosp Roms have issues with stuff not working, so this Rom seems to be a good compromise.
