Today i filled my sdcard with music, went to the BUS, turned it on, searched for a "shuffle" button but failed tremendously.
I've tried the xperia S music player before, and it had a shuffle option (but wasn't stable enough). Doesn't the stock music player have the BASIC option that is "shuffle all tracks"? :\

Hello,
I'm using the MH500 headphones that came with my X10. I was wondering if there is any information or a list of press sequences available on how to control music playback.
For example, what press sequences are recognized by the X10 to control music, or would that be specific to the music player I'm using? I'm using PowerAmp atm.
So far I can perform pause,play and next by doing a long press and double pressing the button. Is there a way to go previous,fastforward,rewind?

Correct me if I'm wrong (I don't have a SGAce anymore), but I think that CM7 offers this feature in their CMSettings.

I've been using ttpod for more than a year. it has a nice interface, skin support, fair sound quality, and best of all: FREE it also has a great music control.
i switched to walkman player a couple of weeks ago, i also installed XSincredible sound mod. this combination gives the best sound quality ever. but the ear phone control really sucks. when i pause the music and want to resume it after about 20 secs, it resumes with a long random delay time.
so is there anyway to port the earphone control from ttpod to walkman player? it will be even better if someone add folder play feature to it.

May be something wrong with your WALKMAN i dont have such problem..
Are you trying to stop WALKMAN player from running apps or any taskmanger?
If so than stop doing that, let the android manage apps, dont mess with it

nope. just do this: play some music, turn the screen off then stop the music with the earphone button. wait for some seconds and try to resume with the earphone button while the screen is still off. ain't there any delay b4 resuming?
So I love music. Right now I am locking for the best rom for music lovers. By that I mean its pretty smooth, as good lockscreen controls, equalizer, a nice music player, and more. Any suggestions?

My choice would be CM10, definitely. It has a great buttons support. There are controls in the lockscreen, in the notifications and it supports headset button (Play/Pause), and volume buttons commands (Long press on Up/Down to change track). There is an equalizer too but it only works with apps that use the standard sound library for music (Soundcloud doesn't support it, but Google Play Music does).

If you use Spotify, the album art doesn't work with CM10.
I'd say anything based on CM7. I hear to a lot of music, and I use Poweramp with CM7.2 That is probably the best combination for me. With Poweramp, whenever I plug in a headset it automatically starts the music and with CM7 I use the volume rocker to change songs. So I never have to see my cellphon'es screen whenever I listen to music.
I also use WidgetLocker where I put the Poweramp widget in the bottom.

hey,i have the same problems.
you can try setting -Developer options ,set "kill app back button" on。then，open walkman player and turn on"Sound echancements". kill this app by long-pressing the back key，the xloud will be effective.
