As a lot of other persons I have the "screen lag" issue. After reading several posts I have found a way to fix it : I've just removed the back cover and I check the battery position, then I put back the back cover.
Now the big lag disappeared.....
No need to add a paper between the battery and the back cover in my case.
I hope it will help others.
Well, another thing that worked for me was tighten all screws a tiny bit.
Worked like charm ^^
I opened d battery twice since i bought my folio. Lagging issue oni several times for me. Is it really should do this i don know.
Should give a try bcoz it is no need to pay for opening d battery
I still believe that must of the lag is caused by bad software, though i also notice that screen is kind of lose.

i do believe too, no prove but have the feeling that some app crashed behind the screen and make the folio lag or freezed.
somebody can confirm that?

using dev tools, u can monitor the cpu usage values. if it get above 2.0( except for the first 2/3 minutes when booting and when connecting to wifi), then some app is causing it to lag. if values are still below that number for a long time and still there is screen lag issue, then its definitely a hardware issue.
use an app called aLogCat to see what's happening during an error. Pretty handy errorlog tool
thanks guys, i will try and see what is happen.
This is what i get when i clear the log, then shut the screen and wait till it pops open.

Hi guys,
I'm on KE7, rooted and CF-Root 3.6 with CWM .
My phone has tendency to reboot at will after launching two or 3 different applications or at times just as soon as i start an application (any) the screen goes black for 3-4 seconds in frozen state and the phone reboots.
I can reproduce the issue at will, it happens so easily that its becoming very frustrating.
I attached two full logcats and have pasted parts i think are relevant here in the thread . After the startup sequence was fully done, i started the logcat and started Root explorer for the first log cat (which immediately restarted the phone) . And for the second logcat i started aTrackDog with same result.
This happens randomly, sometimes its ok for 6-7 hours but as soon as i start using the phone reboots start happening .
Can some please help me to determine the cause?
Root explorer (immediate reboot of phone):

Does it do it with a factory reset without root or too many apps?
Too many apps? I have around 20, but not all running the same time. I had it rotted since i've got it but rooting or having too many apps can't be the cause otherwise there would be million posts on XDA about it.
This started happening to me after installing dropbox. I promptly uninstalled it and the problem went away. It could be an application you have installed.

No this isn't the case, mine happens with any app randomly as it feels like, many popular apps including hence why i included logcats of RootExplorer because for many it runs fine. Issue is somewhere else.
could it be my Lexar 32GB Class 10 SD card causing the issue? IS there a way to test it?

Take the SD-card out and test the phone ??
Thats the thing, its not any specific app, but mine reboots when I start installing stuff. When factory-reset it works for at least 3 - 4 days which is why I am not sending it back straight away, samsung wouldnt be able to reproduce it with a factory reset phone. I am still running tests but all these issues seem like race conditions or ram issues (even though I dont see any ram issues in logcat)
i'm convinced my issues is the same as here :
Lexar 32GB Card and will follow steps there to see if it'll be fixed.
Nope it's not your class 10 lexar. I have the 32gig one as well. No reboots. Unless the card is defective.

I might have phrased it wrong but i didn't really know what was wrong in the beginning. It has more to do with partition of the sdcard rather than sdcard itself. having done what was suggested here my phone feels like a new beast, gone the freezes , reboots...etc
Im mediapad user running on ICS, and just installed Street Fighter 4 HD on my tablet.

My Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100 gets really hot (near the camera area) and the battery drains really fast. I'm running CM13, Android Marshmallow 6.0.1. Any help on how to reduce the heat and lower battery drain would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
We cant fight the heat on S2 anymore. Is just too old phone(almost 5 year old). You need to live with that.

Media scanner going nuts??
Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
I also suspect some media service being the culprit. When I play music with the CM music app, the battery drains extra fast. Here's what top reports:
User 36%, System 11%, IOW 0%, IRQ 0%
User 113 + Nice 7 + Sys 37 + Idle 170 + IOW 0 + IRQ 0 + SIRQ 1 = 328

2371 0 1% S 103 914396K 93388K fg system system_server
Can this mediaserver be disabled or is it responsible for too many tasks, e.g. also ring tone? I would replace the stock music app with VLC. IIRC, it uses its own sound backend. But I may be mistaken.
