(How to) remove your unlimited data throttle - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note I717

Thanks to people from XDA for figuring these out we have a few different ways to unthrottle us unlimited data users.
Method 1 - This gives you HSPDA+ speeds plus is the easiest
Step 1:
Create a new APN and name it AT&T Unthrottled
Under APN put Phone
Under type put internet
Hit Menu & Save
Step 2:
Make sure the new APN is selected once that is done you should now be unthrottled.
( this method requires you to be on a LTE Unlimited Data Plan, it does not work on 3G or HSPDA+ Data Plans)

Method 2 - This allows you to use LTE unthrottled but is more time consuming and you can be throttled if you go over the top 5% again.
Step 1:
Have a 3G or HSPDA smart phone laying around pop your sim card in the phone write down the IMEI # and call AT&T have them update your IMEI # and data plan accordingly to the Unlimited Data for that phone.
Once done hangup
Step 2:
Put your sim card back in your Note write down your IMEI # and call AT&T and get them to update your IMEI # and data plan accordingly to the LTE Unlimited Data again.
Once done hangup
Step 3:
Toggle Airplane mode and you are now unthrottled on LTE again!
(This method is time consuming especially when you get a hold of a slow Rep. Also you can be throttled again if you hit those Data limits again.)

So today I noticed I was extremely slow while on an LTE network with 3 out of four bars. I checked on my speedtest.net app and saw I was runnng at .55mbps. I rechecked again when I got home on hspa+ (not in Atlanta area) and it ran .47 mbps.I then used feature on phone to have AT&T send me data used and I was at 5.4gb for month with ten days left on my billing cycle. My AT&T speeds while in Atlanta run on average from 30mbps to 59mbps with a full signal. Currently my i717 is running ParanoidKANGdroid 's newest version and 4aces newest kernel as well. I went into Settings ,more ....(under data), mobile networks , and access points names. My phone was on ATT phone at the time of being throttled, I switched setting to ATT wap.cingular and now phone is unthrottled. I will try to upload screenshots of success and will update once I'm in LTE area. The area around my home is only hspa+ so thats all I could screenshot for now.

I had the pleasure of getting Google + on my phone and it automatically backed up my videos and photos using up about 3gigs and I hit that 5 gig mark. So now I'm throttled and decided to try. Unfortunately this did not work for me

will, or is there a way, this work with straight talk on the at&t network?

Sorry.....Try mixing and matching some of the ATT with Cingular settings.
