Hi is there any way to get a free developer's account for the Android Market? Or will someone be willing to let me use theirs or buy one for me in exchange for a favour? I am only 16 and my family have no credit cards, and I haven't seen an option for bank accounts on our bank. I have also tried to contact Google but they completely ignored my emails.
PS I'm only going to host free apps.
Thank you and as for favours, if anyone needs any Android hacks or general help for Android, PSP or PC I'll help them.
Cheers
I want that question answered aswell!
I don't like the idea of binding my bank account to a google service.
I have some apps that I want to upload, I think I might upload them to XDA instead, later today.

Hello, so I've created a theme for GO Launcher and would like to sell it on the android market. So I bought the developer program for $25, and then when I uploaded my apk on the developers page, I scrolled down and saw "Pricing:
Free, Want to sell applications? Setup a Merchant Account at Google Checkout"
I click on the link and guess what, my country is not listed on Merchant Account options for Google Checkout. So I just spent $25 and about a week on creating the theme, and I realize that I can't upload it.
Is there any other way to upload a paid application to the market? Other than using a google checkout account? Maybe paypal or whatever?
Thanks in advance!
You can try to contact Google Support and see if your money can be refunded.
I was most interested in paying the price but also being able to sell my own apps, but it seems that's not the case, I don't see why my country is not supported, or a lot of the countries actually.
I don't know Google policies about countries in or out the google merchant group.
Unfortunately I think you should wait for your country to be accepted. You can ask Google about timings, maybe they would answer you about that.

Hi, I am interested have anyone tried such deals? Is there any experienced users/developers?
The point is, that I can't register merchant account from my country and it means that I can't sell anything in google play. PayPal can't receive money in my country also. So I am currently using admob in my application which gives me less than 1$ for month
Many users writed in their reviews, that they want to donate money and support me, but there is no easy ways for that. For example many developers using strategy of selling "donated" apps on google play. So I think, that someone can register merchant account in supported country with his address and credit card, then attach it to my developer account. If there will be some money, then for example 10% of revenue will keep that user, and 90% will send to me via bank transfer for example.
Is there any experience related to this?
And have anyone tried to attach other user's merchant account to his own developer account?
Also we can create some community for this with users/developers from supported countries and developers from unsupported countries.
Interesting. I'm sure this would work if you could find the right person to work with. Though, have you tried using a proxy to create a developer account? (So, that Google servers would think you were in a different country).
You say PayPal can't receive money in your country, but I believe AdMob can deposit funds directly to a bank account (this is how I have it set up). Or, there are many other ad networks out there with possibly even more payment options.
I have a few developer accounts for when I was working at different places. And, as an experiment, I was able to create one of them with a Visa gift card to pay the $25 fee. The merchant account is still tied to the developer account via the email address used, but in the merchant account settings it is possible to add account access and change bank information.
Well, I think Payscout.com is the best alternative payment gateway for your business. They offer free account setup services to merchant.
Hi Guys,
Sorry Admin if this is not the right thread for this question.
Is there any Disguised Android App which can store the following?
Bank account details
Credit Card Details
Secured Passwords
Photos
Notes
Apps
Videos
And I should also able to access and retrieve the same details online.
I tried to search, but could not find any reliable application for the same.
Please do direct me to any such application. And is it really safe to store in such applications??
I usually forget my password and bank user-id too... So I need an application to store them.
Many thanks in advance,
Regards,

I wouldn't do that if I were you ...if "someone" wants your bank details ,a smartphone is one of the easiest devices to snick information ...
As per any bank regulations ,passwords should not be written in any place from where it can be retrieved with relative ease ....
The thing about Android is, that the data can be easily extracted, if phone is rooted.
I really do not recommend to store such valuable data on your smartphone.
Whats up guys?
I have two Google accounts that I use on my tablet. A primary one that I use for Gmail, Calendar, Contacts, etc.... and another one that I use for the sole purpose of purchasing apps. This happened due to limitations in my country so I made this other account with US data so I can buy apps with it.
This other account doesn't have any noteworthy data about me. I don't sync anything to it except apps.
So my question is. Can I share that account with other friends/family? so they can take advantages of some of the apps i purchased? Keep in mind that nobody can really purchase anything for themselves in my country (Egypt) and I went through hoops to get that one working and credit added to it, so I'm thinking about sharing this account with one or two people.
So can I do that? and if I did. Is there anything wrong with it? Are there any risks involved?
Thanks in advance and sorry if I posted this on the wrong forum.
According to Apple, the Apple ID can be associated with a maximum of 10 devices, I have read somewhere, that it was the same with Google. I have seen the same Google account used on 3-4 devices without any problem. If you want to share your account with 3 more people or devices, I would say go ahead. But if the number of people or devices exceeds more than that, then I would suggest to contact Google and ask them the upper usage limit of a single account on different devices.
The first thing that came to my mind, was to be careful and not syncing your data with that account (even by mistake).
Also.. make sure you trust them, I think this is obvious
Hi there,
I ordered a OnePlus 3 for use on my private and my companys sim card (no access to companys intranet, only for telephone accessibility).
For business contacts which I don't want to have synced with google I use the app "MyLocalAccount" which seems to be good for that situation.
But is there a possibility to deny whatsapp for accessing this "MyLocalAccount"?
Maybe with a xposed module?
Or is there another way to handle this?
Thanks for your help,

Hello and welcome to XDA Q&A section of the Forum.
Perhaps you should try out an XPosed module called "XPrivacy"? It will ask for your permission for litterally everything and once you accept it it obviously won't and it should help with what you need help with.
If I helped, hit "thanks"
I tried XPrivacy and asked also in the XPrivacy thread, but it is not 100% what I want
The easiest way would be to block access to all contacts from that local account, but in XPrivacy I've to allow every contact for WhatsApp.
But as I also searched on google I think there's no way to do this?
