1 - Any way to remove the vibration notification? I like to have vibrate on all the time, but I'd like to remove that icon.
2 - How do you set a full wallpaper? Even the ones Samsung gives you can only be snipped. I'm currently on Go Launcher, and those wallpapers are full sized. Anyone know how to make all images full size?
Thanks in advance.
you have to have the proper resolution for the wallpaper the samsung ones wont strech because of it.

Has anyone looked into this? I find the ever preset icon annoying enough to not use the feature. Is there an app to hide status bar icons?

I don't think I'd want to do that. I just want to get rid of unneeded, persistent icons. Especially since so many apps stick things in there just to prevent from closing.
i too cannot stand that stupid vibration icon, i know its in vibrate, hy do i need an icon for it also

Exactly! I also just installed the awesome Badass Battery Monitor * and am really interested in a solution for hiding unneeded notification icons. I can't believe this doesn't exist.
* - "awesome" is my opinion, "Badass" is actually part of the app's name

Sorry but another guy having problem with notification item. Certain apps like GTA 3 will stay on my notification bar after exiting the game. I tried the clear button but it won't go away until I reboot my phone. Any alternate way to get rid of?
Errrrrrr sorry I couldn't resist my question when I saw notification question.

in the taskbar ... its the bane of my phone ... i hate it its stupid as hell to have no many clocks showing ..
i understand with dont have fully root .. but we have pretty good temp root and wasn't sure if a script could be made to hide it
I use LauncherPro and there is an option to hide taskbar on the "desktop" or homescreen. If you need to see it you just tap menu and it pops up. The taskbar is displayed on the lockscreen and all other screens other than the desktop tho, and if you get a notification or something it shows up. So it really doesnt get rid of just the clock like you wanted, but the desktop looks alot cleaner without the bar showing and no extra clock as well...ha.
dont want to install another launcher .. but thanks

I don't think it's possible without root. You'd have to take apart the Services.jar file and remove the status bar clock lines manually.
Fill it with a Black Mark u won't see the difference

so i know they are all over the place and i have found some that i am looking for but i need some help finding these apk's( if they got any)
Inverted Black clock
Removed "4G ! antenna is on" icon
a way to get a different font
transparent notification
flashlight in the notification quick settings
if there are some that come together thas even better... the ones with stars have higher precedence to me.
domo origato in advance.
The quick settings and pull down bar are in SystemUI.apk you'd just have to change stuff there for transparency and flashlight.
is there a post that explains that?
Why don't you just flash a ROM that has all that? Also, S_E_A_R_C_H for stuff.

I'd like to use WizzBar, but after installing Wizzbar, I now have the default one and Wizzbar poping up :-(
Sorry but no there is no way to remove it.

I am incorrect, I just noticed a new app.
How do you change the icons on this thing (task manager, calendar, world clock etc)? Surely it's configurable ....

That's terrible Are there any mods or anything to get rid of it, or force changes or something? That's pretty weird that they didn't just make it configurable. What's the thinking behind that?
I am just guessing but I don't believe the "mini" apps on the touchwiz taskbar are like regular apps. Regular apps can't be used in a multitasking way like the touchwiz "mini" apps on the taskbar, which is why you can't place your own apps there. I believe Samsung would have to develope more "mini" apps first.
If you get one of the android launchers from the market like launcher pro or adw ex, they each have docks that you can place your own apps on. On adw ex you can even have the dock rise up and disappear like touchwiz's taskbar.

The pop-up touch wiz/apps bar is just annoying I only ever use it for task manager I wish you could not have it and just have tas man as an app or widget. The bar only over pops up when I accidentaly press it when playing a game. It's totally rubbish since the apps are not configurable.
Samsung take it off and/or make it configurable it's the biggest bug bear I have with Samsung tabs.

Thats really sucks
How can you brighten the icons on the left side of the notification bar? Is anyone familiar with what hack would be needed to have the same level of brightness across the whole bar? What needs to be changed in the systemui apk?
Each notification icon you want to be "brighter" needs to be edited in each app you have a problem with. There is no way to make all of them the same in any easy manner.

There is a dimming that is done on the left side of the notification bar. There has to be a setting in systemui that is masking the brightness. You can see the difference in the icons when you see messages that appear brighter (with the same icon) in the notification bar.
Use meanbean 1.11 or meanbean ICE. that's an option he has included

Thanks, I will have to check with him on what needs to be changed.
I have scoured the interwebs, and have even tried editing systemui myself, but have had no luck in obtaining a transparent notification bar.
Can anyone help? I'd love if the color was black when in apps, since it changes once you leave the idle home screens.
This is for stock rooted LJB. I already have the black version of systemui.
Have you tried morphology? I had transparent status bar on homescreen and any other screen such as an app would be a black status bar.

Agreed. Just started using it and it's fantastic. Although the aroma installer freezes on me rather often lol. Battery pull and redoing it works with ease though

Yeah froze on me a couple times also. Like I said in another thread, I did have charging issues. Status bar disappearing. But you said its a stock rom, so I dont think you'd have aby problems.

I am running Jelly "Beans" rom and really need a transparent notification bar and pull down. Is morphology the only way for me to get that? Will it work if I am using Nova, widget locker, and wallpaper changer? I won't want anything out of morphology except this one thing.

To be honest. I don't know if its the only way to get transparent notification bar, im not really the one to take advice from either. I just know, make a backup and keep trying till you get it to work. I had to restore 5 or 6 times till I gave up.

Running beans as well, scoured xda on how to do it, decompiled systemUI but no luck anywhere. Be sure to post if anyone has any luck.
