Rooting Options for X10 Mini Pro?

Any guides detailing differences in ROMs and Rooting options?
I'd like to know if upgrading to certain ROMs will end up in loss of phone
functionality, such as the camera.
Looking for best battery saving options too.

Basically the difference among ROMS are its additional functionalities.
-Lesser battery consumption
-Better performance whether it will be for gaming or for surfing the net, or simply for better phone usage.
-Multitiouch features ( On development )
-Uniqueness
Others correct me if I'm wrong. Ofcourse the basics of a phone is still every developers' priority.
As for rooting - I did use SuperOnClick. Basically this is the first step in order for you to customize your phone.
Yes. some roms still have bugs that needs to be fixed. Although in my experience I use custom roms made by owain94 and slade87 and everything works perfectly on my phone.
It made a huge difference with regards to battery drainage. With my phone on standby (6hrs when I'm asleep) it only drained 15 - 25% bat. I'll try to give you a an update regards to battery drainage when I charge my phone. (my bat is still at 75%). IDK if this experience is like everyone else's but imo that's whats happening to mine though.
Do some research. Try reading these:

You should do fine when you carefully analyze and read instructions first before applying necessary changes to your phone.
Don't forget to thank those XDA developers who made customizing our phone possible.

[Q] Best ROM for GPS use?

Good Morning!!
What ROM out there has flawless GPS? I travel a lot and rely heavily on an accurate GPS. I would also like the ROM to "sip" battery life instead of guzzle it. It's been quite some time since I have been in the loop on Vibrant ROMs. I used to flash ROMs almost weekly back in the day but have since not been as active. I have flashed several ROMs from Froyo to MIUI and CM7. I would really like to just settle down with a ROM and leave my phone alone.
I know good GPS is a glaring issue with this phone but if anyone can help me locate a ROM that you feel has given you very reliable GPS, please let me know. I just purchased an 1800 Mah battery with hopes of getting really good battery life with help of a ROM/kernel combo that is efficient.
Thank you in advance for your help!
I would suggest you fixing gps using the hardware fix forum and then install Bionix Rom. I did the same and it locks fast and accurate (9m indoor). Also the battery life is great.

As far as I know, GPS issue in Vibrant phones is hardware and software issue, so installing a ROM without fixing the hardware would not help, however it might improve the accuracy.
bionix did great for me! However took like 3 minutes to get a lock
I just installed Bionix-V this morning with the Bali 1.8.8 kernel. I think this should be good enough for me to settle on.
I really was not interested in doing any hardware modifications. Maybe later if I swap out my FFC with newer REV2 version because I am getting tired of the banding.

Battary life and ROMS

Hi I loaded this rom to my I9100
GT-I9100_WanamLite.XXLSJ.V13.0.NO-WIPE
It is awesome but seems to really drain my battery.
considering testing
[I9100][ROM 4.1.2] Stock 4.1.2 JB to see if it improoves.
I want to find out what ROM has the best battery life on my phone.
Can anyone provide responses on what roms work flawlessly and dont have excessive battery drain.
Thanks so much in advance.
I love this forum.
first of all this question is against the rule regardless how it is worded. check the sticky at the top of this forum.
Battery drain depends on a number of factors.
Some of the factors are :
What type of apps you have on the phone.
Do you leave wifi on all days
Do use push email set how often
How you use your phone for calls, streaming and games.
These factors are different from person to person, there for what one rom works for one person may not work for you.
The best way is to experiment with different roms till you find one that suits you in aappearance and battery life.

Ok this topic you created proves that you didn't even bother to watch the XDA intro video when registering or even bother to do a quick search of forum OR read sticky topics.
Here is the video you need to watch before asking any more questions...

you'll have to test for yourself... combination of roms+kernels etc... but personally rootbox 3.2 (with default kernel) gave me the best battery life...

[Q] Stable ICS Roms for battery life?

Well I love the jb roms....ive tried pretty much every one of them for days at a time. But I cant walk around charging my phone all day. Ive read all these stats of people getting days with a certain jb rom on their fascinate...which sounds great, but that just isnt the case here.
So, when using an ICS, the battery life seems to be much, much better. Particularly with Gummy, although ive had other strange issues...but the damn thing atleast doesnt keep dying on me.
Does anyone have any recommendations on a stable ICS rom for the fassy? Im looking for good battery life...not so much tweaks. Or would I be better off to go back to GB? I tried CM 7.2 but wasnt really impressed with the battery life on that even compared to Gummy. Thanks for any help guys.
Also, does anyone have a copy of the Devious ICS rom?
Best ROM's for doing anything would fall on the individual - with so many variables involved, user apps/user tweaks/user usage the only real way to find the best is for you to flash and run and test....
Thanks

Best battery life ROM for OnePlus X

I'm using stock ROM at the moment and I'm only having 3 hours of Screen On Time in this which is extremely annoying to me. Is there any ROM / Kernal out there with a better Screen On Time ? Please let me know! Also post a picture of the SOT. Looking forward to flash as soon as possible Thanks
I'm interested this too. I'm no Flash o Holic, so i want to find best possible rom and forget it.
hi
now best rom is something u need to decide and battery life depends on ur usage ie calls, data usage wifi
mine is quite low on data and wifi and average calls im using CM13 i have used most of the roms but im confy with temasek give me a day and a half and i dont off my phone at night .Assuming u know that to use these roms u need to add TWRP their is a tute for that on the forum
