Anyone try playing Zeonia 4? - Motorola Droid X2

I downloaded it the other day and for awhile it played fine but around noon o started get scary warning from the game.
They basically said I was trying to mess with the game's code and if found doing so, I'd be prosecuted. Then the game closes.
I'm taking this with a gain of salt cause I know the zeonia games **** up from time to time but I was wondering if anyone else was getting this.

I'm not a fan of the Zenonia series, but I can tell you that there is no need to worry. They won't doing anything, so long as they can thoroughly prove that you have violated any laws so as to avoid a counter-suit, and since you haven't, you're fine. Besides, I could very well be wrong, but if you don't redistribute said modified code, then it isn't even illegal. If you've purchased a piece of software, that licence for the product covers personal use.

Yea I doubt anything would really happen to me seeing as how I have no idea how to edit the code. I just found it really odd that it wouldn't just force close with the normal fc warning.

T'is odd indeed. I know Zenonia, from the little time I put into the game, it tended to have some very poorly translated text. I don't know what the standards are for it now, but could it have been a mis-translation?

I doubt it...the sentence is pretty correct grammatically and flows a bit too much. If it was translated from something like Japanese or any asian language, it would be horribly butchered. But that's assuming it's from Asia.
Anyways, I uninstalled it and tried to install it again and I get an error mid-download. This game is buggy as heck.

[Q] Touch Screen Becomes Unresponsive

When I play some games on my phone that requires me to hold my finger down on the touch screen, my touch screen becomes unresponsive. Any ideas as to what would cause this?
Typical issue with this phone search around bud. Scroll down 10 seconds and you'll find your answer and much more.
There have been many topics about this. Please read a bit, people. Of course, the people who don't read won't read me telling them to read. =/

Ya I read it, but I felt like complaining anyway.
Btw, your comment really hurt my feelings; I won't be able to sleep tonight because I'll be crying.

So I'm assuming there is nothing that can be done about this?
I believe Joker said he was able to fix it at one point, but that it was too twitchy or something. Check in the multi touch thread in development. Pretty sure that is where I read it.
My biggest gripe with this phone is this. I love the reception and sound quality, but I'm pretty much waiting for the Asus Padfone because of this issue.
I hope this isn't an issue for all Motorola devices, but I'll make sure next time I get another Motorola device.

Graphics issue???

Has anyone noticed odd lines going diagonally through some icons and play store?
Edit : when I run quadrant I get really bad artifacts on the square part of the stairs.
Could it be a driver issue?
Should I return it as a malfunctioning device?

If you would ac tally read the op you would've seen its not only icons. I also get it on pics and get bad artifacts in games. So if your looking to get sarcastic take it somewhere else.

Definitely not a driver issue... It's the GPU failing to render. I recommend exchanging it while you still can, even under severe stress mine does not do anything like that. I'm sad for you mate. What carrier you on?

Apparently you need a hug, there was nothing sarcastic about it. Im sitting here waiting for my phone to come in a couple weeks and seeing someone post graphics issues is unsettling. Of course i read the op, but the point was on the screenshot it is specific to the icons, whatever it is does not impact the background or other graphical parts on the screen which makes me think its not necessarily hardware.

Ty for the input. And my apologies if there was nothing sarcastic intended.
And I'm on AT&T.
Maybe that is the reason the AT&T store said it was a return of a preordered device and allowed me to buy it in store yesterday.
Just stressing out about it a bit.

SPYWARE, are you safe?

So I think someone installed spyware on my phone. Is there anyway I can get rid of it, prevent it, and blank the persons blank for doing? The software has to leave a trail of some kind, doesn't it? Don't laugh, it's pretty easy to get on your phone from what I have read, and they can get a lot of info from your phone, listen to your calls, location updates, read your texts and emails, no good or cool.
It'd help if you say what app it is it what evidence there is spyware on your phone

If I am being spied on, how would I know what app it is? Proof? People know things they shouldn't, I'm not going into details, trust me. I believe they listen to the people I speak with thru my phone and one other persons phone close to me. Information these other people always seem to know about us when they shouldn't know. Phone gets warm for no reason, weird numbers, noises and beeps during calls, sometimes we each hear other people talking during our calls. My girl and I both have DNA's, it also happened when we had RAZRs and Fascinates. Her phones, the battery always dies a lot faster than my phones always did. My phone is 90% of the time on wifi, hers not, and her data is always high, she doesn't use her data at all, other than a few emails here and there.

Only way you would have spyware is if your face your phone to someone and they installed an app on it.
Or the fbi is watching you. But I'd go with the former over the latter.

Well if people know things they shouldnt I'd check the people you told lol. The other person you were calling most likely told. If it happens on every phone then that's not any spyware on your phone. High battery drain, call echo, unaccounted data use... Yah these are all signs..... of using cdma technology. Maybe stop using Verizon, Sprint, virgin, boost, etc.. just saying. Also your carrier preloads carrier iq on your phone it's a type of monitoring software. So yeah. Root + custom Rom + non cdma network = fun times. Otherwise I agree with poster above me, tin foil is your friend

I know you guys think I'm nuts, but look up cellphone spyware. I wish I could say who is doing it, but that is sensitive info. And it isn't necessarily bad things they know. Just when we go over there they always bring up stuff my girl and I just talked about. When are phone are on us they never ever call. If we both leave our phones at home for a few hours, like when we take the bike out, all the sudden they call constantly. There's tons more. I just want to know how to remove it and prevent it.
It's there, it's real, and all too easy these days to spy on someone using there cell. I've read it can reinstall it self after you factory reset your phone and it is virtually undetectable. Every time we buy new phones the person I speak of sends a text with a pic, after that we never get texted by them. Or after an update (OTA) or otherwise. I was just hoping I could get some real sound advice being this is XDA.
Check it out, I was thinking about doing it to the suspected persons

You still need to install it on the phone. You can't push it on the phone without you knowing. Like it says on the website you linked to, it's either a link you need to click on, a qr code, or copy the install file from a computer via usb.
Either way, just do a factory reset.

Phone spying on me?

One thing I have noticed is that my phone seems to be spying on my activities.
My phone knows where I work and when I work and get off. It tells me my commute time and etc. One time it told me when/where my girlfriend works when I was taking her on the regular. I checked National games for the sake of metro and its the phone has started to give me MLB game times and scores. I had a time when my phone gave me an alert to attend a cookout from my car insurance company. It had emailed me this weeks in advanced. I also get advertisements for games I have looked at that pop up.
Is the Android/Google taking it too far by monitoring your activities?

I don't really get what the problem is. It isn't like it's harming you, if anything, it is making your life easier.
Google goes through tons of security and they've even said that the only thing that sees the information is their algorithms. I mean, when's the last time you've heard about Google being hacked?
But like WolfePack said, you can always disable it.

aside from google now if you're getting pop up advertisements for games, or notifications that advertise things, it's because you have a ****ty adware app that you need to block or uninstall.

Would like some testers for my game

I'm making a game similar to flappy bird but there are levels and you have to make it to the end to win. This is extremely hard.
I only have 1 short level and would like to see how long it takes you to get to the end of the level (I still haven't beat it after 30 min). Would also like you to tell me weather it is too hard or too easy.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/5vewg2gf81fjnd9/flappy bird-Default-1.0.0.apk
The file is kinda big for only 1 level. Trying figure out why.
All the sprites and stuff used in the game will be modified to avoid copyright for people wandering. I just used these for test purposes.

Well no score because your not basing it on how many pipes you go through. It is a challenge to get to the end of the level. And dieing at random points is pipes being put a little outside the map (which you can't see) making it more challenging. Also in my final version there is a timer that allows you to see how long it took you to beat the level.
I never played the original flappy bird, so I don't know how this compares, but I have been playing it for about 15 minutes and I can't even make it past the third pipe. I know, I suck! It seems that the touch response has a little bit of lag. Maybe it is just the OtterBox that I have my DNA in, but there seems to be a delay between when I touch the screen to make the bird flap and the resulting flap. Then again, maybe it just seems that way because I am frustrated without being able to make it past even the first three pipe!
:silly:
I finished this game who ever wants it https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.epicprotege.frustration
