hi all, I have the zte Carl. I can't do a factory reset .every time I try, the result is a white screen on reboot and stuck there. I tried to do hard reset but still got white screen. the basic problem is that both home and dial button not working so I want to do a reset. I cannot even get my phone into recovery mode. white screen again. if. anyone can help?

Hi! All. My phone started acting wierd last week. It randomly shuts down & reboots & gets stuck at the black screen with the name & model no. I tried taking out battery & putting it back but after a few days, the problem returns. Btw my set is rooted on stock rom. Any ideas how to solve?

HEY YALL...ok this cricket mercury m886 a customer brought in to do a factory reset but the hard reset from recovery doesnt do anything..just goes back to the pattern lock screen?? what gives? i tried many times, it says in recovert its completed and i did a wipe cache but still same results? any help will be highly appreciated!! thanks

I also had this problem with my friends tablet, It was an alcatel tablet, I was able to access recovery mode and I wiped data but nothing happened. My friend found a hole at the back of the tablet and inserted a push pin and there it is it was wiped! Maybe there's something like a button in your device to factory reset it?

I wanted to factory reset my phone as I was giving it to a friend. In eRecovery, I selected the option to reset the phone. Now the phone wants the old e-mail account and password that was on it. I dont have that info anymore. How can I reset the phone so that someone else can use it? Maybe a way to install a clean stock rom?

Hi,
my galaxy k zoom was booting in loop. After 3 reboots, the recovery mode menu appeared. I chosed to reboot the device. A few error messages appeared in red but I had the time to read. And since that moment, I've a blank screen. I'm unable to access the recovery mode. The combination of the keys doesn't do anything. Any idea anybody ? If only a can have a chance to go back to the recovery mode, I will know what to do next. But I'm stucked

Thanks for your response. In fact, I let this S3 aside for a few weeks and when I came back, I was able to log in again. This happened to me few months ago with this device. That's strange. Maybe a timeout somewhere or something happened when the battery was empty ?
