I use my phone in landacape mode frequently and was curious to if it would be possible to rework the CRT animation so it will display landscape when the phone is sideways. I think it would be a nice, clean looking feature

I been reading people talking about the default orientation change, to that of the portrait view, but can this be set to sensor, so that whatever way you turn the phone, the lock screen changes to that orientation, whether it be landscape or portrait?
The stock lock screen does not change orientation even if the auto setting is on. There are several lock screen apps that have additional settings and features.
Nevermind, is there any lock screen apps where you can still use the pattern lock? Cause all the ones I tried you couldnt
I second the notion. I would love an app that allows me to lock the screen in the orientation it's currently in.
And the same app, or another app, doesnt matter to me which, has the lock screen come up in the orientation the phone is in.
Edit::: been tinkering with it this morning and now I can't get the darn thing into landscape mode at all..... any ideas
Yeah its strange how the lock screen is locked to a certain orientation. And I have no ideas how to change the orientation. Sorry mate. Another's thing that is strange is why doesn't the streak rotate 360 degree, never understood why it doesn't do upside down portrait.
Maybe the launcher has something to do with it because I have a live physics wallpaper that does follow the rotation 360 degrees.
Also I will mention that when I use ADW Launcher EX I can lock my orientation in whatever orientation it's in when I switch off auto rotate

Yeah I have my phone locked to landscape in adw, but only because the lock screen is locked to landscape, I would just like both to be changeable, with rotation of the phone.
Hey guys, I was recently at a football game and the girl in front of me had a Droid, idk which one it was, but it had a slide out keyboard. Anyways, when she slid out the keyboard / rotated to landscape, the entire screen rotated with a beautiful animation. On all 5 of my android devices, when I switch to horizontal mode, it just jerks to landscape mode, no animation whatsoever. How do I achieve this animation? Its hard to describe through text, but it is identical to the iPhones auto rotate animation.

Is there a way to put a new custom animation for auto-rotate on Samsung continuum?? I'm new to this and I was wondering if there could be an auto rotation like this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1362354 for the samsung continuum.
Is there a way to disable the lock screen rotation? I have it disabled when unlocked but it still rotates when locked. When I set a wallpaper with picspeed it looks great until the lock screen rotates then the picture gets all fat and distorted even in landscape mode and I have to reset my wallpaper all because of the stupid lock screen rotation. Plz help!

I would love to know if there is a way to do this as well.
One thing you could try instead of reseting your wallpaper, is once you are at your homescreen, turn autorotate back on, rotate to portrait and then back to landscape and see if that fixes the wallpaper. I have a different problem that happens when mine rotates when in lockscreen, but this usually fixes it for me.

Just tried your suggestion but it still borks the wallpaper. Once it goes goofy there is no way to ungoof it without setting the wallpaper again from scratch
While in Optimized Phone mode, is it possible to have the lock screen go landscape?
I have the Framework-res DPI set to tablet, but still stays portrait.
