Hello!
After the Box.net offer for the Xperia devices, I found myself with 50GB of cloud storage (how awesome is that? ),
so I decided to share the apps that I mod for my personal use.
As many of you probably know, I am a girl and even though I don't like pink, I do like purple. A LOT.
So far, I have edited WhatsApp, Google+ and Twitter.
EDIT: I added Dolphin Browser Mini too!
EDIT 2: I added the default SE Keyboard from the 2.3.4 update, with swiping! It's a fl;ashable zip, requires CMW recovery. Enjoy!
They are all in their latest versions and I will be updating them timely, since I do that anyway for me.
Keep checking this link: bit.ly/iridakimods for new and updated apps!
If you are a Box user, drop a comment with bugs and/or requests.
Now I know that these themes might not be appealing to most guys, but you might need them as a gift for your girlfriends! LOL!
Installation Instructions:
1. Download the apk you want from the above link.
- a. If you already have the app installed from the Market, uninstall it.
-- b. If you wish to keep your data, then use an app like Titanium Backup*.
2. Install the apk whichever way you prefer (adb, with a file manager, make it a system app with Root Explorer, etc)
3. Enjoy!
* By backing up the app prior to uninstallation, you can then, restore Data Only and you'll get the new purple app with your previous data intact.
Please Read This Too:
1. You will no longer be able to update these apps from the Market.
This is because they are modded and resigned.
If you do try to update them, Market will give you a signature error.
If you don't want this error to bug you, disable automatic updates for the said app.
2. I will be updating the apps as soon as possible after a Market update.
However, bear in mind, that these apps are not made by simply recoloring a few image files.
I went as far as editing xml and smali to give them a whole new consistent look.
It takes a lot of my time, so if I feel an update includes only minor unimportant changes, I might not do it immediately.
Feel free to remind me though, just be polite.
3. I do take requests.
However, I cannot guarantee that I will fullfill them. I'm a very easy to talk to though, so just ask.
Keep in mind please, I will not mod a paid app, especially without legit proof that you have purchased it.
Most of them include protection anyway, plus I do not approve of piracy as far as Android apps are concerned.
Feel free to NOT try to change my mind on that.
4. Please do not mirror my files.
Box has a neat feature, an email is sent to me every time someone downloads one of my files.
I'd like to keep track of the downloads.
You can get the files easily, no waiting, not captcha, even if you are not a Box user.
I doubt that the folder will generate much traffic, so there shouldn't be any 404 errors either.
5. The font you see in the screenshots is Samsung's Choco Cookie font.
You can find it in the Box folder too, in an update zip flashable via CMW recovery (will work on both locked and unlocked bootloaders).
If you are on locked bootloader or/and stock kernel, you can still have CMW recovery easily, see here for more info. (Thanks pvyParts!)
Cheers!

My ROM is a small preview of the upcoming T.E.A.M ROM for the Arc.
(Mostly) pvyParts, and me, are working on fully porting it to the 2011 Xperia line. So stay tuned!
Hopefully, your statusbar will be so customisable, you will not know what to do with it!

Most of these apps included much blue in their original version, so could you elaborate on what exactly you need to be blue?
theyre so cool I was just wondering if the T.E.A.M. ROM for Arc will require unlocked bootloader or will it be compatible with locked bootloader?
Bit off-topic, but you know that box has a bandwidth limit? I shared one zip of 3MB on this forum, and I'm already on 5% of the bandwith limit within two weeks.

Yes, I am aware of that, but frankly I don't think many people will download my purple apps!
If I exceed my bandwidth, I'll move them to a file sharing site.

Can you mod the New Market v3.4.4? If it can be in Pink color it would be even better for me... I still use Old version v2.3.6 because I hate colors in New Market...

KeiranFTW said:
Right, I might have a little much on my plate, but I am proposing to make a new rom, called DarkforestMiX.
Why the name DarkforestMiX?
Because it will be a mix between CyanogenMod 7 (thanks FreeXperia) and the stock rom.
I have decided to initially base this ROM on CM framework (CM as the base) and so touchpads will work as they do in CyanogenMod 7.
Why "Darkforest" again?
Because, I am from The Darkforest Group, and I am a co-owner. I develop stuff for dfg because I like to
There will be four Darkforest Group roms for the Xperia Play:
DarkforestROM RC2: not to receive any more updates until ICS
DarkMIUI: updated weekly, will be available to download via DFR app (app not yet released)
DarkforestMiX GSM
DarkforestMiX CDMA
What I need from you:
A banner for the rom would be nice and a click on the thanks button too
I can't yet give you an ETA, but my CM and stock merge will be a selfkang (compiling cm myself, merging it myself)
More details to come soon

I'm all for this as long as a few cm things are included like the power prompt and when you pull the notification bar down you can turn wi fi blue tooth etc on/off. Those shouldn't be hard to include. But I dev for motorola so I assume SE is a bit different

I can make you a banner. I'm unemployed and have a degree that I apparently cannot use where I live, so I've got the time. lol
What are the rules for making a banner on this site? Dimensions, etc.? I'm assuming there's a thread on it somewhere here (I clicked the home button and am actively looking), but I haven't found it yet.
I think it would be better if you just keep working on DarkMIUI and improving DarkForestRom. Because I think that DarkForest is awesome but it sucks that you ain't updating it anymore...

I've seen interest in getting S-Note working on the CM9 release and wanted to share the status of my work. S-Note highly relies on the framework for an advanced clipboard service. I have worked part of today patching the missing bits from the touchwiz framework into the cyanogen framework and have resulted in the following 90% working S-Note.
Although it runs, and doesn't crash when accessing the clipboard anymore, I still receive an error and believe the service just hasn't started. Will update as I get further.
Thanks!
UPDATE
Worked out the advanced copy service, now working on the missing resources for the copy dialog. Who thought modifying the res apk would be harder than the rest? If you got tips besides apk tool let me know. The code patching is done.
UPDATE 6/5/2012
Finally had some time to work out the resources issue. Going to now out together build scripts to automate building / patching and update for the latest cm9 release. Will be looking for testers in the next week or so. PM me if interested.

Really great work, I'll try it when you upload it and I'll give you my feedback.
Can you provide a small description of each option that can be changed? I mean in this thread, not on the app. For example I don't know what that deep sleep bar does in CPU tab, or from GPU tab I don't know anything, same with charge tab. From Kernel I don't know what Fsync is. Probably I'm not the only one.
And again, great work :good:

If it does, then i'll release the full version
(I am on SlimKAT and it works on that, but need confirm stock compatibility)
You should release this in the Xposed forum.. You will get more attention there..
Or you could post this in Cross Development
