headphones problems samsung galaxy ace

hello...i don't know if it was discussed this problem before, but i just try to resolve headphone problems for my phone...i have the samsung galaxy ace from 2 weeks ago and the problem is : when i connect the headphone (i was trying 3 headphones till now and it was the same problem),the sound is very low,is distorted,it's like in a box,the voices is not hearing...if i keep pressing the play button from the headphone, the sound is better. i read something like "if enter in service mode,on the "audio tab" you can change something", i try,but the "audio tab" from the service mode is the only one which is NOT openning...i don't know what to do next...any idea ?
I have the same problem, the sound with headphones are really low, but i was using Nokia headphones because of microphone. When the button was pressed to take call sound was good, so I just glued it with super glue, now I can listen music at right volume... just cant answer calls!
) nice one .. yes,it's an idea, but i thought that someone knows what is the real problem...maybe is the soft of the phone, maybe is needed some kind of headphones

I've used some el-cheapo Sony headphones from Argos and they're much better quality. Will have to ask my GF to try her Skullcandy headphones and see how they are. But otherwise I'm not one to spend much more than £30 on a pair of headphones, especially when the jacks tend to get screwed up in my pocket.
I've noticed some distortion with my Sony's: sometimes the audio goes quite quiet then loud, repetitively. I'm almost positive it's the custom ROM - Fla.sh v1.

I'm using the Logitech Musicman (or men , whatever) and it performs more than I had expected .
For my Equaliser I'm using Equalizer 3.1.3 (I think)
So do all 3 connection headphones work OK?
Is it just the 4 connection that make the sound go out-of-phase/cancel out?
I do like the galaxy s phones for quality especially with voodoo sound. Surely Samsung could fix this so that the 4 connector headphones are interchangeable??!

Im using Shure SE102 earphones - on low volume you can hear clearly without distortion, on full volume - it not loud enough to get me remove the headphone also no distortion.
Maybe the socket is designed to chuck out a low impedance and phase variance.
I have also used the 5.1 channel button on the music player that comes with Fla.shX2.2 rom and thats works beautifully.
no, the headphones was not specially for samsung (and specially for galaxy ace i didn't find ) 2 are from nokia and one i don't know from where, but i thought that if they have 3.5 jack should work...it seems that i thought wrong ... i will try something from samsung,or have you some recommendation ?
finnaly i solve the problem with Panasonic RP-HS46...not so expensive, but very good sound,bass,etc..
I had exactly the same problem. Tried my old nokia headset, a noname, and a Philips headset. All had the problem of poor quality, and way better when the button was pushed.
The solution:
The I changed to a Philips headset specifically designed for IPHONE and it all of the sudden worked well. Phone now recognizes the headset and the phone is acting on the button.
From my reading I understand that the pins are a bit swapped for iphone, so somehow for my ace it is the same as the iphone pinning.
yes..one of my problems was that i tried some samsung headset...i don't remember exactly the name...after that i was thinking that is a problem with my phone till i tried that Panasonic headset...have not microphone, but i don't needed because i use it just for music

Mic not working but works on Speaker mode?

Hi, I just got a AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note and the microphone (bottom) does not work. No one is able to hear me but I can hear them.. but when I switch it to Speaker Mode the microphone (top) works and people can hear me.
I've tried blowing into the bottom mic to see if it makes any noise at all and I can hear something like the mic is being blocked? How do I fix this?
Return it!
I'm having the same issue. Had the phone for a couple months, just started having this problem over the past few days.

My problem is just the opposite. The microphone does not work when in speakerphone, which is what I mostly use. I have [UCLF6] Electron's LEGO ROM loaded. Any ideas?

3.5 mm Jack question

1. Does the s3 have the audio Jack on top or bottom?
2. I briefly owned a s2 and when I had it connected to my fm transmitter I could hear it turning on and off via a somewhat loud pop....this was the case with calls and music / notification sound...it would ding for a txt then I could hear it shutting the audio Jack down....this compared to my vibrant where I never noticed it....could someone test it with headphones or computer speakers turned up loud?
I ask because the s2 was horrible during calls while headphones were connected. I had to hold it very close to be heard clearly. Not sure if it's all connected but hopefully this was worked out?

Headphone jack problem, I think?

Well I just bought my self an Galaxy SIII and I'm loving it but I'm having a little problem with the headphone jack.
I plug my phone everyday to my car stereo for music and there comes like this pop and cracking sound while I'm playing. Doesn't matter if the stereo is at high or low volume.
First I thought it was my audio equipment in my car but then I gave it a go in another car stereo with an different lead but the noise is still there so it is the phone.
Is someone else experiencing this problem or is this a faulty unit?
I tried searching for same topic here but couldn't find anything about this.

Is anyone experiencing "white noise"?

I've noticed that if I play video at the lowest possible volume I will hear white noise of some kind. Also I can hear it for a few seconds after I pressed any nav or volume button. Even if the sound is off. The only thing that can reduce this strange behavior is disabling touch screen sound.
Device did not have any contacts with water,so what can it be?
All my devices I had so far have this "white noise" through my headphones and a bit louder with my bluetooth MW600...It's just a phone okay :silly:
It's the same thing on my Galaxy Note.
Same on my sensation xe and nexus 7
