Credit goes to BrwnSuperman for finding these and then I took them and put them in a cwm flashable zip. So, I figured I would post this in the Development section (Mods feel free to move it if you see fit) since many of us are on mtd roms and most of these roms have been updated to the new 2.3.5 Android code. Here are the updated 2.3.5 GB gapps: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?67t2077vf4q3zd6 Included are the new gtalk, new car home, new market, updated google search, and all the rest of the little system service apps etc. that can't be downloaded from the market. All (I think) updated to 2.3.5. Flash from cwm recovery and enjoy.
Edit: here is a mirror as it was reported that there was a problem with the mediafire link: http://www.multiupload.com/Q184Q5YS09

curious
just noticed that i have not installed GAPPS since i first came on board on the 07/04 build, i also installed the new market..not sure if that has anything to do with it......so has anyone else installed the new market and from there havent had any issues? running the 07/28 build....and still the new market works...
Can't Google apps be updated via the market...I flashed the one listed in the OP of the CM7 thread, but have updated through the market, so are these newer than that?
Also, if I am on CM7 7/18 winch is Android 2.3.4...would flashing this screw up something?

Well, I know google talk can't be updated through the market and yes, these are the gapps that came from the nexus 2.3.5 code release earlier this week. All the little google services apps are updated as well, not just the main apps. You can just wipe cache/dalvik and flash these but you might have to erase the old ones manually.
Can I remove some of the apk that I am not going to use in the gapps.zip?
Just installed on latest CM7 (not the nightly), runs good. I've been wanting this new gtalk, if only it could be updated via the market. Thanks thanks

Yes, go to settings>applications>manage applications>and uninstall the ones you don't want.

You rock, thanks! I don't think there's a problem with your link, my phone wouldn't download any zip files from mediafire yesterday.

So I hope I am not the only one with this issue, but when I flash it either on CM7 or JTs AOSP 2.3.5 rom, after I select what apps I want, the loading just keeps spinning and spinning until I rotate the screen, then I select to install, then it keeps spinning again until I rotate back, and I have to do that with EVERY app during the initial app installs, and this was also after a complete wipe of DATA, cache and Dalvik

Weird, first I've heard of that. I'm guessing you are the only one with that issue.

Quick question I have CM7.1 with 2.3.4 will these gapps work I really only wanted the new talk with video and text. Just wated make sure this is the right one.
Hi I have installed Cyanogen 7 on my phone and didn't see market so I have installed google aps trought recovery but still can't see google aps there any suggestion ?
Are you sure you have the right version of gapps? Use the one from link in the installation guide for CM7: http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/...-the-samsung-galaxy-s-ii-v710-rc1-9-oct-2011/
Look for play store in the app drawer, not market.
I know market has been changed to google play but even after installing all files Cyanogen and then gapps I can't get any google apps
Try wiping cache right after installing gapps
Same here. Can't find it on market. I've been looking for apk files online, but I'm kinda carefull and don't wan't to download from just anywhere. Anyone knows for any trustworthy links?

I've downloaded and installed this rom to my legend. Everythings work fine but I can't find the Google Play in anywhere (although I saw 4. Gapp intergrated into ROM in the Features)
I don't have CWM in my legend (I've tried to install it by fastboot) so I can not flash Gapps like I did when I use the original cyanogenmod 7.2.
Anyone please tell me how I can install the Clockworkmod Recovery and Google Play on my legend?
Thank you very much!
Just try to add you google account at settings, if you can successfully done this, you only needs to find the market apk to install and there is no need to flash a gapps zip.

Hi, I'm on Epinter's CM10. I just want to ask on how can I get a map app on my phone? I tried searching on play store but can find my luck there.
You mean like Google Maps or Navigon?

Here is a link to Google Maps application:

If you're running epinter's CM10, you probably skimmed past his link to download Gapps.
http://www.linuxmobile.org/atrix -> Search for "epinter gapps v5" for the latest Gapps package to date.
Same issue

I'm having the same issue. I installed the firmware, gappsv5, and the Bluesleep fix. No maps app after that. I reflashed the gapps, rebooted, and still no maps. I looked in the list of all apps in RoM Toolbox Pro and I don't have maps at all. I decided to just install it from the Play Store (just searched for "maps"). Seems to working fine. Is that what is supposed to happen?
I'm having troubles connecting to the Google Play Store after doing a hard reset. I tried all the internet suggests.. Such as clearing cache, doing hard resets or even restarting my phone, I contacted the Google Play Store representatives about 4 times and they couldn't help me whatsoever. I need someone to help me. It shows that I can't establish a reliable connection. HELP ME..
Only other things I can think of are to clear data for Google Services framework, Play Store and Google Play Services. Reboot and try again.
If that doesn't work delete your Google account from system settings and add it back again.

If you are rooted.. try flashing the matching gapps again..
Try adding a second Google account, deleting the first one, adding the first account back, then deleting the second account.

Thanks but here:
I figured out how to do it, but you must be rooted and download Root Explorer off the internet. After that find the /etc folder. After finding that go into it and find the file 'hosts' and delete it. If it won't delete tap the mount button in the top right of your screen. There you go!
not new to the site... couldn't remember my old name or the email associated...
Been having troubles with Google Play Store since upgrading from MIUI 12.28 (had another phone no need to upgrade). The app won't even open. Running Paranoid Android 4.1.2 by th3Bill now on my Moto Photon 4g. Having the same problem with all the newer ROMs.
Figured I must have messed up flashing, reflashed still didn't work. Figured my CWM was outdated so I downloaded his newer version of CWM & Aroma prep. Reflashed still didn't work. Tried with Beanstalk, CM10&10.1, Liquid Smooth, King King etc still same problem.
Searched on here for a while for a solution & a few other sites... still none. Anyone else having this problem?
I'm gonna ask Th3Bill on his site but I know he has a lot on his plate already. Might get a quicker answer here.
Thanks for any help.
Are you flashing the correct gapps from goo.im/gapps ? For either 4.1.2 or 4.2 depending on the version of the Rom?
I remember that Paranoid Android used their own version of gapps if you are running PA make sure you get their gapps package, goo has PA gapps for 4.2 here: http://goo.im/devs/paranoidandroid/roms/gapps

Used 4.2 gapps with CM10.1 & Beanstalk. With beanstalk kept getting fc's even when not running the apps. (Google+, magazine, etc)
I only see 4.2 gapps with the link to Paranoid... 4.1.2 is the latest for the Photon.
