if you just flash the kernel,u will still using current build not the kernel build.
u need to flash full firmware downgrade like fw .42 or .58.
use latest Flashtool 0.6.7 it can keep user data
when you flash the firmware be sure to uncheck
- Wipe User Data
- Wipe Cache

Hi,
Sorry for the delay, for if it is useful to most people, we would have to download this rom and install it with a fw 42 that has CWM, or a fw 58 with CWM.
Install it as a common rom and it is not necesarry to do wipe.

Offtopic: you come from Spain, right?
i was there for 2 weeks in 2011, in Blanes & Barca
I want to ask because I think it is celar from what I can see that with this procedure it is impossible to upgrade the kernel without having unlock bootloader.
So this mod is basically the .62 firmware but with older .42 kernel with known issues about restarts and battery drain.
Otherwise it should require flash with flashtool or unlocked bootloader right?

If you have the firmware FTF try to flash only system(no wipes, all other excluded) with flashtool not to lose data.
If you updated the phone with PCC or SUS you can create the FTF file yourself.
http://mytechencounters.wordpress.c...eate-an-ftf-file-of-your-xperia-ics-firmware/
You must flash the ftf, image via flash tool...

[HOW-TO] ROOT 14.1.B.2.257 and poosibly newer Sony Roms

So i found out a way to actually root the new "unrootable" Sony stock rom.
Its actually just using the Unlocked Bootloader as it was meant to be used.
SO ONLY FOR UNLOCKED BOOTLOARDERS!
Step 1: Flast the new firmware ftf using flashtool. Theres a fully working ftf for c6833 here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2489892
Step 2: Flash the old kernel with cwm from here (v5) : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2426736
Step 3: Reboot the phone to CWM mode and install the UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.65.zip found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538053
Step 4: Flast the new firmware ftf usin flashtool but ONLY CHOOSE THE KERNEL!! Nothing else!!
Reboot and profit.
You are rooted...
A simple thanks is enough and give thanks to all that have made this possible in those threads.
Have fun.
EDIT:
As of now this method does not work on the new Android 4.3 14.2.A.0.290

I doubt it because you wont have write access to the system partition. The recovery itself should work fine with the stock ROM.

Looks like the verification in the update-script is written for the wrong model.

If you read his post you can see the filename is mango which is the codename for the mini pro.
Is the recovery image you flashed for the mango device or the anzu device?

my phone is a SK17a.
above, I flashed rom using Flashtool to downgrade and root my SK17a, and installed 5.0.2.7 recovery.
Now, in any android version (2.3.3; 2.3.4 or 4.0.4) when I want to install by recovery, rom 11.0-cm-20131128-NIGHTLY-LX-mango.zip but that's where it shows me that error ir recovery.
As you can see, or rename my device, I do not know the route to get.
I'll take a photo of the error when it could be useful.

To me it looks like you've flashed a custom recovery for the anzu device onto your mango device.
That's why it won't accept the mango file when you try to flash it.
You can fix the recovery.img or remove the device authentication in the zip files update-script.
I agree with arkedk. And I know that you need to use the kernel that was created by FXP for CM11. The kernel that they created for CM11 has already a CWM included. Choose the FXP kernel that was created for mango

Can help me?
My best bet is u didn't even flash the included kernel in the ROM zip.
The included kernel in mike's cm11 doesn't use old cwm 5.0.2.7 like in your screenshot, it uses newer cwm 6.0.x.x

With your locked bootloader forget cm, you can't install it. Either unlock it, or install cwm using the xparts app from the playstore and flash a rom for locked bootloader

No. You must downgrade in order to root and install a custom recovery.

How to root the 5.1.1 23.4.A.1.232 wicozani
You have two methods.
1. For locked bootloader. Downgrade to any 5.0.2 ROM, e.g. 23.1.A.1.28 and root it via KingRoot and then install XZR Recovery and flash prerooted 5.1.1 zip
2. Unlock bootloader, flash custom recovery, flash supersu.zip

How to downgrade? Can you please give me some tutorials on how to downgrade to 5.0.2? Thanks
yes, no problem, bro
At first download Flashtool 0.9.18.6: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4sYgaP5RMK0S1pzUnMzdWd3UnM/view
Then install it to C:\Flashtool
Get into this folder and you'll see "Drivers" folder . Run flashtool-drivers exe and select FlashTool driver and Xperia Z2 Driver
Download ROM for Z2
If you have D6503 download this ftf file https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0By-vo9NJkgzJVUo0dVNreFNvSjg&export=download
Run flashtool, let it settle.
Close it
If your download finished copy .ftf file to C:\Users\You\.FlashTool\Firmwares
Run Flashtool
Click lightning and click flashmode
Turn off your phone
If you'll see a prompt to connect phone, press vol down and connect it to PC via USB Cable.
Wait.
When you'll see flashing finished please unplug phone or sth like this, unplug and turn on

Hey,
Sorry for my english, but I need help with root. I had 23.1.A.1.28 unlock bootloader and did root it via KingRoot and then install XZR Recovery and flash prerooted 5.1.1 Lollipop 5.1.1 CE1 [.232] + ROOT + DUALRECOVERY. And now I have Lollipop 5.1.1 CE1 [.232] + ROOT + DUALRECOVERY but SuperSu when it must update binary files -> instalation failed.
SuperSu is in system but I can't change files permissions for example hosts in etc (Total Commander/ Root Explorer). AdAway host file copy failed. Earlier I had Android 6.0 but the battery discharged in 8h. So I came back to 5.1.1 ... Everything was working well before.
