Sony Ericsson HDMI-cable IM820 and s2?! - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

anyone know if the Sony Ericsson HDMI-cable IM820 cable from the arc S will work with the S2??

The S2 uses MHL, that cable is HDMI.
So no, it will not work.

Nope. See my post in this thread, it answers your questions:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1347970
Basically headsets that work for the iPhone or HTCs or newer Samsung-models won't work.
Headsets that work for Sony Ericsson, Nokia etc will work.
You could use an adapter though.
Edit: Beats HEADSETS will not work, but if it's just the earphones without a button or a mic, it will work perfectly.

For LG G2 Mini (D618 variant) it does not support USB on-the-go.

Thank you Zyper. I really appreciate your response. So that means, only the LTE version (qualcom snappdragon and nvidia tegra processor) supports it. Hmm seems great. Though GSM arena's review shows that it does not support it. Anyway, no need for me to have it rooted/bootload the g2 mini.
So can I use any type of USB otg cord?

Oh I see. Thank you for the information. So in short, USB OTG is not supported for any lg g2 mini versions.
I saw a post somewhere saying that you'll have to bootload the g2 mini to enable OTG support? Is this true?

[Q] [CM12] Usb audio dac don't work

Yea Cyanogenmod doesn't include support for USB audio. Sucks. Judging from old postings, I suppose they used to but have not in a long time. My GPE HTC M7 does, but when running CM10 11 or 12 no dice. It's a shame, but I don't know of any workarounds to get it to function other than that crummy audio player app. Not worth remembering what it''s called because it's so bad. Anyhow, bottom line. If you want USB audio, pick a different ROM. Sorry
Thank you for your answer!
Someone told me this
"you have to enable DAC support in kernel and recompile cyanogen/AOSP with USB audio HAL"
But i don't know how to do that.
Actually, USB DAC works on my galaxy s4 with cm12.

Simply flash Sony stock ROM. Is better anyway than CM and supports USB audio.

Hi,
i've thought about it, but stock rom doesn't give total control of your phone (privacy, right,...)
Simply use Xposed (Xprivacy etc.).
Hi, is there a way to do it myself. Is somebody can point me how to put USB audio? If i use stock kernel for exemple?
Thank you very much.
