As a PC gamer, I have a hard time looking at a games graphics settings being low. I have searched all over for graphics settings that don't cause crashes for our phones but have been unable to find anything. I was just wondering what everyone here uses for their settings, or did you leave it stock?
I've left it stock and it still crashes. On every rom I've tried. I can play it for a few mins then kaput! I made it to the 2 city 5 missions in and It kept crashing.

Seriously gta has never crashed for me on miui or icscrewed

ICScrewed has worked for me as well, although every once in a while it locks up and crashes. I do often play it with a 1.4 Ghz overclock- I've noticed a significant difference with that small change.
It shouldn't be crashing that much

Not sure why but it does. And I love this game.

Now that GTA3 has the ability to adjust the graphics, what settings do you find give the best looks : performance ratio?
I got everything at max and minimum lag.

Looks like cm9. Says cm_tenderloin which is what cm9 says

I'm running at max settings on CM9 0.5 at 1.7 GHZ. Very minimal lag, looks great, and using a Sixaxis PS3 controller puts it over the top. Amazing!
Off topic a bit: but I got up to the sniper mission and lost all my data. Can anyone provide me a save game file?

You could have just a bad download. This happened on my Nexus S, would try to start the game and it would crash about a third of the way through loading.
I would start with deleting the "com.rockstar.gta3" folder under "Android/data" on your SD card. Doing that will force the game to redownload data. Keep in mind if you do that you'll use any game progress.
Ive downloaded the above two games grahically both wrk great but the sound on both of them are very choppy glitchy .
Does anybody else have this problem ?
Other games like gta 3 , sonic hedghog all run fine .

Stuttery sound
I (finally) could solve the stuttery sound by increasing the available RAM. Therefore I use 'Advanced Task Killer'. For the last two days I haven't had the stuttery sound anymore. Hope it stays that way.
Thanks mate . Thats worked for me on both

So ive finally raged and unlocked my bootloader to get rid of the bloatware.. Still its damn laggy..Homescreen redraws Alter using the Browser or heavy games apps are slow to load( sometimes even 15 seconds for chrome...) help is really appreciated!!

I had the same issues on ics, and now on ka09. Though considerably less noticeable on the new kernel. Still major lag in opening apps, and launcher redrawing, using adwlauncher ex.

so there's nothing we can do about it?
Mine had nowhere near those issues. Try wiping the phone and uninstall bloatware.
ICS is working perfectly here,no bugs at all, even without rooting.

I found it unusably slow. I then rebooted it TWICE and left it 15 minutes for the media database to update. It is now smooth as silk.
Just got to sort this one last NFC issue and I will be happy.

Done this twice now.Nothing changed. This is just unacceptable.
I find ICS removing unused apps too fast from the RAM. For example if i go into contacts and Call someone and then in the browser it will take the contacts 3/4 seconds to load again.

Does anyone play dead trigger on xs with .453 ?
I found that it has problems to render maps ( building) as well as zombies.
The map and building should be in dark green, it works on gb and .452, but now all buildings are white color and have ghost and lag when you drag around.
This is same to zombies, they are whiteish and ghost/ lag which make them all look shiny, lol!
Sent from my LT26i using xda app-developers app
The same for me - .453 and Dead Trigger updated today - before the update, the map was OK on .453 firmware, it is something in the game itself...
Really? Before the update is good? I tried both 1.0.1 ( paid cracked version) as well as1.1.0 ( free version) and both yield the same laggy ghost effect on .453.
It didn't affect the game play at all, just odd rendering.

Just curious, was the forced 2d rendering in developer mode turn on? How about when turning off?
After I flash back to .75, dead trigger had the correct graphic
Sent from my LT26i using Tapatalk 2
I tried both on and off in .453, it yield the same result, so I don't think it matters.
I cant recall if I really tried it in .452, but GB is all good.
I think it is the driver problem? Or madfingers mess up when they fix adreno205 bug ?!

Google play is having the square enix game Deus Ex: the fall for only 0.99 cents over its usual 8$ price tag. Grab while you can!

I have it and works fine for me, no lag and controls are easy, they have 2 modes. 1is kind of weird but one works like any other fps game.

It crashed for me also. You have to do the same instructions To make it work that are for gta san andreas. You can go here and go to page 3 i think. It explains what you have to do.I think i had to do that once or twice and then it would work fine.

For me, Deus Ex : The Fall crashed after choosing any Main Menu option. Enabling Android Settings-Developer options-Force GPU rendering allows the game to run properly.
In my case it started to work somewhere between the kk update and some foldermount tinkering. Nice to here about the gpu trick, might come in handy even though it breaks lecturenotes.
