Got the galaxy note couple of days ago and theres big problem.
Sometimes the Text msges disappear from the msges app like its so annoying.
Anyone have the same problem and how to fix it?

Hey guys, for the past 5 or 6 cm builds I have flashed I never get the notification that I have received text messages. Notifications are on through the messaging app, I've even turned sync on. The only way I recieve my messages is if I click on the messaging app which is a pain, because somedays I forget to click it and I see messages from early in the morning. Is anyone else having this problem or does one know of a solution? Thanks

No FC message just returns to home screen very often. Also get extra words sometimes. Happens about every third or fourth text. Occurs in stock messaging and GO SMS PRO. Hoping ICS will correct.
Anybody experiencing this issue or has solution?

Phone will make random sounds and I had no idea why lol. Like I just opened xda app and a Damn bell rang. Been using xda and hasn't done that before. No notifications or anything. Orange notification also comes on for no apparent reason. School me please and don't flame me lol....I'm new to ICS so.......

Mine does it too. Notification sound goes off and i had nothing new. Nada. nothing!

If you're using the new Google+ app on your phone, Google have recently changed how notifications show. The Notification LED will glow a redish-orange now (similar to the colour of the icon). I'm not sure if this could be it if there's no notifications visible though...
Alright since I got this phone I've had an issue with my phone not being able to find my girlfriend and my cousins number when I go to text them. It'll show her email but no number so I have to hit find in contacts etc etc.. Also for whatever reason sometimes the text thread with my girlfriend will disappear but if I go to start a new text with her all of the old messages will be there... Wtf??

Check your contacts and make sure her number is saved as mobile.

Solved. They were set as iPhone instead of mobile.. Its weird it would do that though

I've installed ChatON on my Galaxy S3, and also on my mom's Tab 2 and dad's iPhone. Me and my mom receive notifications if someone sends a message. However on tje iPhone no notification is given, nor in the lock screen or as a badge. You have to open the app itself. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Yeah the iOS is the problem. Same with bluetooth connections, i can connect my s3 to every android device but it refuses to send files to any apple product.
I still wonder why the apple wannabe's say that the apple products are better then anything else ... if i can't even send over files by bluetooth to a pc or smarthpone device that is not from apple
