I guys, so i want to know if there is any kernel already made to overclock my Neo with the ICS beta or if i have to wait for that?
My Neo is really losing performance with ICS because i can only use 1ghz, i was using the MIUI clean and fast and i was loving it but i change to ICS to see the diference and its very good to but with OC i can't compare it to MIUI because MIUI win's easy xD
Thanks guys
Short answer is NO.
If Sony publishing their kernel source..then we get OC kernel.

Oq Thanks xD
Thanks for the explanation, i will put MIUI again until we have a better ICS.
Someone had very bad battery life.
Like i had last night when i post the topi like 85% of battery i played drag racing like 30 minutos i my battery goes to 54% and i put the phone in deppsleep and this morning after 8 hours in deppsleep with 54% i run out of battery and i wake up with a "dead" phone. Now is changing what a hell xb
P.s My battery graphic is a a line just going down
Thanks
Returning to MIUI

coming from cm7 - Mediocre battery life... then flashed miui... 20% worse then cm7... both with faux 1.0 and uv+uc. going to the Stock based roms its just crazy about 2 extra hours of usage without watching the battery like a hawk. it makes me wonder what went wrong with the mods lol... now just to get smart actions to boost the battery life even more :3
There are a couple of third-party tools that work like Smart Actions. Check out Tasker and AutomateIT.
Hi guys...
I recently install the cm9 4/4 rom
And its amazing! So far I dident get any bugs..
But I do have one problem, the battery is so weak.. Like every six hours I need to rechargh it.
So what I wanted to know is what karnel that supperts the cm9 well will give me better battery results?
Thnx alot!

I peronally like cm9 stock kernel best, better check what services/apps are running in the background that consume much power!
I'm using the original karnel that I got with my sgs2..
Is there a stock Room for the cm9?
Can you give me a link please?

Mate until you do some research, don't flash anything. Unfortunately you don't understand what you are talking about

Mate battery life won't magically improve by flashing an alternate kernel / ROM. There are tons of reasons which may affect battery life on a ROM, and you must first determine what that is before you move on and experiment. Before moving onto a new kernel, determine what is causing battery drain using apps like CPU Spy (Can determine if your phone is entering deep sleep or not) and BetterBatteryStats (Can determine kernel wakelocks which prevent the phone from going into deep sleep). Also, what is your usage pattern? On extremely heavy usage patterns, 6-8 hours is below par, but not unbelievable.
Unfortunately I would agree with mattisfaction at this point of time. Stock ROM for CM9? When you install CM9, you get the CM9 Stock kernel. Not what came with your phone.
Well...
I see I got much more to learn :-/
Well thnx anyway, ill come back after some more research =)

sorry to bother but i would like to complement the developers of the HYFR rom, it has such great perfomence and excellent battery life i have never had my phone on a 9 hour charge before i am also overclocked at 1.6 ghz.

I duno about battery life, but it certainly is smooth and buttery smooth!

You mis-understood. He got a run on sentence " it has such great perfomence and excellent battery life i have never had.My phone on a 9 hour charge before i am also overclocked at 1.6 ghz."
He meant before when he got overclocked to 1.6GHZ
still confused
Before he flashed to ics, he was on a rooted gingerbread rom. He was able to over clock then, but not now on the ics rom.
I still get what SayWhat10 got out of it. It could mean many things. lol
My biggest issue with my ROM is essentially the battery life.everything else is amazing ( nice job objection creators). So the question I pose, with the official releaser of Ics is the battery performance better? Same?
Can we expect the battery life to increase street some good devs get their hands on it. Other then that....excellent job so far gentlemen.

I mean not THAT much difference between official ICS release and what devs already had so......
Imo only thing that can truly help is undervolting since we now have source
But even without that you will still have folks claiming they get 72 hours off a stock battery
So "battery life" is all relative to how you personally use your phone

Couldn't agree more. I've been playing with Hotw1re's custom kernal with the overlock and playing with the voltages. I'll give you an update in a few days to let you know my battery stats.

I am using the stock ICS ch, after turning off "downloadagent & facebook app" my battery life has doubled.
I'm using the XSX Kernel with the MIUI ROM I'm getting much more than I used to on the ICS. I'm still new to the all these CPU governors and stuff. But yeah an improvement is what I'm seeing and I'm finally satisfied with the device.
Kernel :XSX v3.3
ROM MIUI 2. 27 or something [the newest]
Governor: Smartassv2
Do try it
I'm using MIUI ROM with advanced stock kernel and I can tell you my battery life is much greater than ICS.

im having good battery life also now, havent have this good before, im on stock .45 with latest v6 supercharger, and my kernel is dual boot kernel.
i dont know but im liking my battery right now, for example when im not using my phone, before i got 5-10% drop without using for 9hrs, but now ive got no drop at all,
yesterdat i checked its still 100% , and now after 17 hrs with minor playing and phone calls only, i still got 77%, huge battery drain for me is while im on playing, but @ normal usage i only got minor battery drain. im liking this right now
