Certainly you can change/update it.
You'll find the download link of .64 baseband from this tread. Thanks to FXP.
Then you need flashtool(homepage) to do it,and the tutorial from this thread. Thanks to those developing flashtool and akshay13071990.

[Q] 2.1.1.A.0.6 Firmware for X10 Mini Pro for Flashtool

I need the Flashtool files for X10 Mini Pro 2.1.1.A.0.6. For some reason, SEUS says there is no update available for my phone. I am still running the old firmware. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Mate he is asking for MINI PRO, not mini

- U20a - 2.1-update1 - M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404015 - 2.1.1.A.0.6 - Telstra Australia -

Not sure if this is where i should post this but i was trying to return my x10 mini pro to its normal state, which the past 2 days would leave me with 2.0.A.0.504 as its build version and the baseband was M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404006
Only just as of roughly 35 minutes ago, i had used the same program SEUS from sony ericsson to repair my x10 mini pro. I restarted my phone and checked its settings to find that my model was still U20a with the same firmware version but with a new baseband version number and the new 2.1.1.A.0.6 build version...
Your best bet is to use the flashtool.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=928343
Why do you want to use 2.0.A.0.504 vs. 2.1.1.A.0.6? The latest firmware is 2.1.1.A.0.6.

No I am just showing people that in Australia if you are on Telstra and have an x10 mini pro that they have released that update now...
We were stuck with 2.0.A.0.504 for months...
i flashed the E15_nAa-11_2.6.29.6-nAa-11.ftf on my xperia x8 so that i could install update-cm-9.0.0-V02-X8-KANG rom. Now i want to revert back to original se rom but there is conflict with the base bands meaning i have to use X8i_2.1.1.A.0.6_Baseband_015 to be able to install but this base band usually doesn have xrecovery so one has to install xrecovery but my current system doesn allow xrecovery to install. am stuck any help?

firmware version: 2.1 update1
baseband:M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404006
kernel:2.6.29 [email protected]#1
number of compilation:2.0.A.0.504
i want to install a original european rom, but i dont know how... can someone tell me please?
thanks!
Download SEUS from the Sony Ericsson website and install it on your PC. Then follow the instructions: If it says something like "Newest software is already installed", proceed anyway (Note: You will lose all your data).
May I ask: Why don't you consider flashing a custom ROM. There are so many tutorials on the forum, and its really worth it!

How to update from stock

My friend's 10 year old son has an old Xperia Mini Pro :
Model No. U20i
Firmware 2.1-update1
Baseband M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404015
Can I update to CM 10.1 or which would be a stable version to update to?
What would be the procedure for update of this old mobile? I am very used to updating Samsung phones but have never done on Sony Phones.

4.1.B.0.587 SK17i Generic Firmware

I never stopped using my SK17i, I've had at least 10 of them over the years, but recently I lost it and had to get a replacement.
I found a brand new one on ebay, but it has 4.0.2.A.0.58 FW.
I used to have all the SK17i FW saved, so I could re-flash any replacements I got, but my HDD crashed and I lost them all.
Does anyone have the last .587 FW... the 'generic world' version... not the vodafone or india one?

Would be much appreciated.

As I said in other thread, I'm not sure which one you exactly are looking for (some are customized for MEA and for India, first two links are most likely generic .587 FW). Please note that I have not tested any of those as I don't have Mini Pro. I just googled the links. Best of luck and let us know if it worked.
Thank you mate, I'm in UK so was looking for the "generic world" one, I got the first 2 you posted on download, thanks.
Hello,
I got a totaly stock phone, I read trough some topic, but don't know how to flash this generic firmware.
Android ver:2.3.3 Build:4.0.A.2.235
But I can not do nothing (log in google etc) this android version is so old, I would like to try first the last factory firmware, I guess this is it. How could I Flash to the phone?
Thanks in advance!
ts easy peasy to do, but you need the correct adb/fastboot drivers and flashtool versions, and that parts a nightmare.
I normally have to do this every couple of years if/when I lose or drop/break my phone and can never remember how I previously did it so I ended up making some notes and storing the correct stuff.
All of the drivers you need are bundled with flashtool 0.6.9.1
Here is the driver bundle from flashtool 0.6.9.1
But I would recommend using flashtool 0.9.18.6 to flash your rom because it has an option to exclude the 'simlock.ta' (previous version doesnt) and this will/could simlock your phone.
You need to connect your phone to PC and go in to the settings in your phone and change USB connection modes. Each time u do that, new drivers will be installed. Then power off ur phone and hold the 'down' volume button on the side and insert your USB lead a couple of seconds later.... then more drivers will be installed.
Then flash your rom with flashtool, and remember to 'exclude' the 'simlock.ta' (it's a checkbox option)
Edit: Btw, if u wanna root ur phone I use eroot_v1.3.4, works like a charm. Its in chinese but just click the big green button and it will root ur phone and install superuser.
Thanks, I was only able to try it out now and it worked. I can not install the flashtool verzion 0.9.18, win10 didn't allow it because it's contain a virus (win said) but i found somewhere 0.9.10.1.
Now have android 4.0.4. Play and browser not working, but for playing music and video its ok.
Maybe If have more time i will try some custom rom.
Which rom aru you using @SK17Me ?

I use 4.1.B.0.587. If you install total commander (or anything similar explorer) using flashtool, then you can download apps from anywhere, put them on your SD card and install them with total commander... no need for google play.
Browser is hit and miss... some pages load, but most dont.
I have all the cyanogenmod firmwares for SK17i (CM 10 - CM 13) which bring later android versions, though I've never tried them. I can upload them if u wanna try any.
