[Q] Sk17a Baseband - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

hi my friends
I have a problem changing the baseband on the Sk17a, it doesnt matter what firmware i flash, always remains on the -64. i tried all the firmware from wotan but nothing helped. And now when i flash a firmware my phone turns on and after the Sony Ericsson logo it displays a mobile phone with an Exclamation Mark inside an triangle. I want to go back to -58 or -62 baseband for Sk17a
thanks

update--
it happens when i am flashing firmware for SK17a which is strange because my model is SK17a. if i flash a SK17i firmware it is ok. Any help? i am flashing the firmware from wotan. and another think if someone can help me make an .ftf file to flash it with flashtool from wotan files, maybe it will help!!

Flashed and E10a with E10i firmware, how get E10a firmware back?

Hey people, I've flashed my E10a with a E10i firmware, because my original was giving me so much troubles, and I tried to repair, factory reset and everything, but with no success and flashed with an E10i firmware, that solved my problems. But now I want to get back with the E10a firmware(that I have backed up) to see if will work good again, but I tried PC Companion and SEUS but PC Companion that the update was failed, to check my internet connection(and its fine, nor firewall blocking) and SEUS says that I have the newer version.
What I do?
Thanks!
Please, I need heeeelp!
Use Omnius to flash one of files from their site.
Is this free?
I tried to create and PayPal account, but my credit card doesn't let me ¬¬'
Is there another way to buy the license?
Same problem here...
And I can't use Omnius, cos I don't have International CC (I'm live in Brazil...) or pay-pal account..
Any free method to do that ?
I'm asking about that, cos I don'n know if my Mini will accept Android 2.1 when it's avaliable...
But if receives 2.1 ok, I'll keep my Mini as E10i..
(sorry about my poor english...)
In the SE forum, they said that it will accept the updates.
I got back my E10a firmware, but with the Omnius. I had to pay for it, but was less than 10$.

If model is unknown, you need to restore to 1.6/X10a.
Downgrading to 1.6/X10a (from 2.1 generic international), then upgrading using Sony Ericsson's Update Service to get the OFFICIAL Rogers v2.1a firmware:
Flash kit I compiled with every firmware: 1.6 a/i, 2.1 a/i:
the model number is x10a
firmware version is 1.6
baseband version is 1.0.14
kernel version is 2.6.29
build number is r1fa014
i tried flashing it. but when it gets to please connect your xperia in to flash mode searching for xperia.....
i did that and the xperia exit the flash mode and another cmd.exe window pops up and says access is denied

o2 UK rom

Please could someone upload the O2 UK firmware. I've been having problems charging my phone so I tried to restore my phone to original settings but it didn't work so then I flashed the generic world firmware which hasn't worked either. I would like to reflash back to stock O2 so I can take it back to the shop.
Many thanks in advance

The version of the firmware that PC Companion installs is determined by the system/build.prop file so if you root the phone and modify the build.prop so it has the correct model number (or just overwrite the build.prop with a suitable one).
PC Companion will then automatically reinstall the O2 firmware version if you go through the Phone Software Update option and do a Repair.
(If your phone is an Xperia Mini Pro I have a suitable build.prop file if you want)

Thanks for your reply. That would be excellent if you could provide me the correct build.prop
A .zip containing the UK O2 Mini Pro (SK17i) file should be attached to this post.
You should be able to use Root Explorer (or similar) to backup the existing build.prop and then replace it with this new one.
After that you just need to reboot the phone then connect it to PC Companion and tell it to repair the current firmware.

Do you have a build.prop or info i need to edit to restore Orange UK on a SK17i?
Ive unbranded my phone and now it wont accept any simcard. So i want to restore it to the network image.
If anyone has a stock Orange UK SK17i flash file that would be awesome..

[Q] Phone looping after debranding

Hey, I have an SK17i locked on Orange that I flashed with stock UK firmware .58 (2.3.4) from WotanServer and now the phone wont accept ANY sim cards, nor connect to any WIFI signal.
It also loops in the regard that it wont save settings and asks to select language everytime I start the phone.
Ive tried a few different firmwares from the wotan server. Tried using flashtool with firmware downloaded from these forums, with no success.
Any help really appreciated as im struggling to find what the problem is.

try this firmware and flash it using flashtool
make sure to wipe everything and don't exclude anything
Download Sk17i Firmware Global
Thanks for the firmware, I did try it but I had the same issues.
I resolved it now, I had to unlock the phone (Network SIM Lock) and now its working fine. I wouldnt want to guess at why the original SIM that came with the phone wouldnt work on a debranded firmware but maybe someone here will incase someone else bumps into this problem.
Thanks.

null IMEI Sony xperia devices, unknown baseband, or no wifi turning option

yesterday my friend come to my house, and was very much upset about the his phone i.e. xperia z1. It was totally doomed, was showing
1. null imei
2. unknown base-band in setting
3. no mobile network connection
4. WiFi not turning on..
guess how was the situation..
after an hour of research and play , I finally got a way to solve this sort of problems...
SOLUTION
This was caused because of wrong forceful flashing of wrong firmware like as in my friends case. He flashed the wrong firmware after unsuccessful rooting try. He has used C6902 on a C6903 model of z1.....
flashed the firmware via flashtool (http://www.flashtool.net/index.php) after downloading firmware from xperifirm (
http://forum.xda-developers.com/cro...xperifirm-xperia-firmware-downloader-t2834142)
thanx a lot for the awesome tool By IgorEisberg, and @Androxhyde
