i just installed my CW recovery , is this what you are calling CWM?
if so how do you flash it , i too like the blue and the batt, any how new to most of this so please any "for dummies " instructions would be great

Installation:
Make sure you are in stock rom
Backup your rom, just like i said before
Download the file zip

actually doesn't matter if want to flash it by stock recovery, but better if you flash it by CWM. So I suggest to use CWM, not stock recovery

If you want better battery life then flash Sac's S5 MOAR rom. It's the best way to go.

But if u really want to give it a try, you could try flashing it and after go to /system/priv-app/SystemUI and delete .odex files.. keep only systemUI.apk
