[INFO] Galaxy Ace Most Sold Android Phone in Europe! - Galaxy Ace S5830 General

Reading through this betanews article, the following figure struck me, the Galaxy Ace is the most successful Android phone in Europe:

So, along with the fact that Cooper is the 9th most popular handset in the Cyanogenmod stats when CM has never been officially released for it, why on earth is Ace in legacy & low activity devices on XDA?!?!?!?!?!?
I do wonder if we shouldn't as a community open a request that XDA moves Ace into the main forums where, based on sales, installs and post numbers, it belongs!

Sure that may be true and I really DO think we shouldnt be here, but compared to those in main forums, our development activity is pretty low

We got moved to low activity because we don't have a recognised developer .

It were sold to schoolkids or girls or grandmas who only use their phone to make calls, SMS and occasional Facebook. Most dev got other high end badass phone and left us with those grandmas and girls to do dev job. That's why we lack dev activity here
Edited: and popularity on xda is based on dev activity, not on phone sales. Its common sense for dev forum.

Maybe xda mod not use ace
I like this grandma phone its better than iphone4! Even when samsung make it, it did not support flash...now we made it support it

Galaxy Ace is a very solid phone. Once ICS is fully ported there will be nothing it can't do compared to the others. It is best suited to casual users. Being my first smart phone I am still in love with it.

Are you dissin' girls and grandmas? this is a great phone if you only use it as a phone! And besides most people who see my phone mistake it for an s2 so I'm happy. And the only android phones at school are huawei ideos and the LG p500 for the rich kids
