A guide how to apply these tweaks would be more usefull, also concentrating on one project leads to a bigger goal. I really appreciate your efforts as well as your motivation, because its awesome to see how much the community gets out of our little devices. But In case of tweaking a guide would be more usefull, since you can apply this guide to any rom. Also i dont see any sense in a 2nd rom, since your Gaming-tasty Gingy is as far as i can see optimized. So why are you not implementing these tweaks to your other rom? Also you can look at roms like PrimeHD which offer a few more optimazitions (deodexing for example) than "just" these small tweaks.
CHANGELOG
v02 Now it is a flashable zip,no problems on Messaging and Dialer but -54mb ram.If you'd like more RAM apply the tweaks and get 86mb!!!
v01 First release,based on MiniCM7-2.1.9 by nobodyAtall 70mb ram

If you want to provide maximum support, make one rom and give different "versions". For example one with a custom kernel and another one that would run fine (not as optimized as with kernel) on a stock kernel. In this case you have maximum support for different users and only one rom to care about, in which you could put all your tweaks, ideas and optimizations. Furthermore MiniCM7Pro is based on nAa MiniCM7, so basically you are working with the same "starting rom", but, and this is important, nAa continued on his rom, so to be up2date you should use MiniCM7. These are just ideas for you, i try to give my best in constructive criticism and i really appreciate your nice reaction to this

Ah darn. I think you have to find the necessary modules yourself, if its even possible to find them. If not... yeah, then your approach to maximum support is the right one.

Just look at other roms, like PrimeHD. There are really a lot of optimizations, many of them are useless and others are just awesome (like SuperCharger). Also maybe instead of developing roms and messing around with really complicated stuff, you could just write an guide

Just search in the internet and try different stuff out yourself.
At this point i need to say: i dont care from where you are, how old you are, what your friends are doing neither what your breakfast was and how it tasted. The only thing that matters is what you give to this community and what you take. Yeah, its awesome that you are 12 and that you are so much better then your friends, but im not here to give you compliments or stuff like that. Maybe you should just go out and enjoy your life, but you have to decide that.
Right now you are doing a pretty good job and thats the only compliment you will hear from me, ever.

This version comes with BRAVIA Engine and DooMLoRD kernel v03XS and some tweak. I will not use v4 cause I have some problems with wifi ( cannot turn on).
Thanks DooMLoRD for kernel, Z for FPS uncap and audio stutter fix, 28spawn for BRAVIA engine, aZuZu for advices and tools, new ARC Timescape from CAYCE_VII, anjo2 for toggle statusbar...
Update will come with some tweak, will update soon cause I'm student so I don't have so much time.

because there are a lot of arc roms here and new stuff draws more attention
Finally some new faces around... nice job mate!
P.S. 1:
Do i need xRecovery or CWM to install this?
Can i install this on my HTC WildFire?
Is Microsoft DotNet_3_5.apk & Microsoft DirectX 9 included in this rom?
Does camera has work in 8 MPix? & Can i take photos in dark?
Can i return to stock if i wanna?
Thanks!
P.S. 2:

So far everything was ok just that adding sd card hack would be really helping as waiting for gallery to load pic was a real pain in teh @$$ and adding the stock calculator ? Not all live wallpapers are there so maybe have a look at that + had to reflash my backup because i dragged the bar in setcpu and setonboot was checked so couldn't do anything else anyway to take that off for others ?
Sent from my X10i using xda premium
But overall i loved how smooth was it and the s.e look and found a bug in contact tried importing from sdcard the screen became darker but nothing happened i hitted home key and it was fine later on rebooted and my contacts where imported and battery life didn't look good emptied charged to 100 wiped stats and it was drawing pretty fast alot of work but loved this rom thanks

I'm currently testing it, but a friend is trying to download it but MediaFire is showing Error Downloading.
Thank you so much for your great contribution
I will add tweaks today. Please wait until I come back home.
About contacts import, I have no problem when import it. It.maybe caused by some problem, like another, applicatiins can force close any time.
For battery life, I use setCPU to limite CPU speed.when screen turn off and when I sleep. But it is goos on my phone. Maybe it is different on other phone. Try battery calibration, charge you phone and use it for many times and see if this can solve

Ok I will add Calculator and live wallpapers here. About SetCPU, sime device can't monitor the frequency higher than 1152MHz. You should extract the safemode zip from SetCPU before changing frequency. (Menu>safemode instruction???)

T.E.A.M. Stock Rom for 2011 Xperia devices
(Arc, Arc S, Ray, Active, Play, Neo, Neo V)
pvyParts and iridaki
Proudly Present you
T.E.A.M. Stock Rom
A Rom for the Community By the Community!
YOU MUST Read this Post FULLY Before you Post any Questions!
First of all, hello 2011 Xperia Devices World!
We are coming from a galaxy far far away, where and when the X10 was a flagship!
We created the T.E.A.M ROM for the X10 and now we are taking the first step towards porting it to the next generation of devices.
The new TEAM ROM will be universal across the following devices:
1. Xperia Arc
2. Xperia Arc S
3. Xperia Active
4. Xperia Ray
5. Xperia Play
6. Xperia Neo
7. Xperia Neo V

( Devices with smaller screen resolution, such as Mini and Mini Pro will follow later on we didn't forget you! )
How we did that?
We have developed a Auto-Magic installation script that will work on any Xperia device by customising system files appropriately during flashing.
Some of the many new and unique features of the upcoming TEAM ROM:
1. Quick sound profiles integrated into the ROM -forget any 3rd party apps, now it's all accessible from the power menu
2. Brightness toggle control with a neat popup you can bring up any time from your statusbar
3. TEAM Tweaks (customise your clock/date/battery/signal text color/size/font, integrated battery bar)
4. Transparency everywhere you look!
5. Elegant TEAM theme
6. New Clock and Calendar from leaked Xperia S GB ROM
7. Tweaks for ambient sensor, minfree and more
8. Enhanced power menu with reboot options: Reboot, Reboot in Recovery, Reboot in Fastboot. If you choose the latter, you will be prompted to insert your USB cable and the procedure will complete only after you have! As convenient as it gets
9. Compatible with any 2.3.4 ROM, any kernel, any current setup. It will not wipe your data or intefere with the way you have been using the phone so far. It will only make it MUCH better
We are introducing the "ROM/AddOn" concept and we are looking forward to your feedback.
ROM/AddOn means:
* One Zip all Phones! with some Scripting magic we can keep all devices updated with a single zip.
And last but not least, don't forget we have great things in store for all of you:
* Full AppMan Support with 100% OTA Capable, Auto-Magicaly Flashed updates (comming soon)
HOW TO INSTALL:
REQUIREMENTS
HAVE AT LEAST 50% BATTERY BEFORE STARTING!
You must also me on a 2.3.4 Stock Firmware
( This is not a Stock based ROM, it is a Sony Stock Firmware )
You will also need Root and CWM
This will work on either Locked or unlocked bootlaoders that meat the above requiments
NO DATA WILL BE WIPED DURING INSTALLATION!
1. Boot into Recovery and make a NANDROID BACKUP ( This is really IMPORTANT, as we can't recover your data! If the fan gets soiled )
2. Flash the "TEAM_ROM_v0001_HDPI.zip" via Recovery.
3. Reboot and let the phone do it's thing as it will be rebuilding caches and settling.
First boot can take up to 10 minutes so be patient!
If you want to use your own custom Clock font:
1. You should place your custom font in folder /system/TEAM/font and it should be a .ttf file named clock_font.ttf.
2. Go to Settings > Tweaks and check the option Custom Font for whatever element you wish (clock, battery, signal, date).
You can now also tweak the text size to your liking!!

Q & A
Q: Where is AppMan?
A: AppMan will suffer a full rewrite and will be ready for a future update!
Q: Can I use this or that kernel for unlock or locked bootloader?
A: ALL kernels built for stock ROMs WILL WORK on this rom. We have tested all of them so take our word for it. ( yes we are flash junkies )
Q: Can I use this or that theme?
A: Short answer, no. Unless of course it is built of our framework. We have made MASSIVE mods to the framework so most themes will disable most, if not all, options in the Tweaks app.
( unfortunatly themers dont like our framework as it changes too often )
Q: I am getting a FC on this or that, can you help me!
A: NO. We can't help you. Because what you just said means nothing to us.
We want to help you SO much, but in order to do that you need to report the bug properly.
We took care of that too, see here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=18195325
Q: OMG YOU STOLE MY WORK! YOU [email protected]#$!% etc etc etc
A: We kindly ask you that if you have an issue with any of the inclusions in the ROM to either PM me or iridaki so we can sort it out politely There is no need to flame in the thread. Also if we have forgotten credits, please let us know and we will add them immediately.
Q: This rom is stupid, I hope you fail, "that" ROM is better!
A: That's cool, use "that" ROM. There is absolutely no need to report your disgust unless of course you have constructive criticsm. Personal Preference isn't a bug or an issue
We encourage EVERYONE to use the ROM they feel is best for them
Q: wow this is cool can i...
A: HOLD UP read our rules
1- no whining about our work
2- no asking for eta's
3- no asking for eta's
4- no useless posts in development thread
5- logcat or GTFO
6- no asking for eta's

Does exactly what it says on the tin, downloaded over wifi, flashed in recovery (after backing up) and it looks and feels very nice. Contacts/apps/texts/wallpaper was exactly as i left it (as mentioned in OP) very impressed, best ROM ive used on the Play so far and i too am a flashing junkie, great job!

This is great, can't wait for future updates, especially looking forward to having the ability to customise the notification power widget.
Remember to re-set your alarms after flashing this as it installs a new clock (and alarm) app
I'd like to thank you and your mate for making this ROM.
I have a few questions:
How to make a Nandroid Backup ?
And what about gamepad ? Can you make it work without issues?
I am asking this question because it is important to me + untill now I haven't seen it works perfectly on all existing custom ROMs for xperia play.
what kernel needs to be used on this rom? can i use a stock based doomkernel?
Nice to see more devs getting in on xperia models. Just a bit of advice, put GSM label for this thread so it doesn't cause any confusion to the community

1 - nandroid is a CWM backup.
2 - it shouldn't cause any probs with game pad.

This should work on all variants of the play that have a 2.3.4 OS (NM just figured out the CDMA one is 2.3.3)
The gamepad works perfect no worries. Very nice rom. Only thing I've had trouble with is the font size and color. Its white many times and can't read it. Also the status bar icons don't change from gray clock and battery percent color works. Pop-up windows are white also very hard to read any way to change it?

Hello everyone.
This is my first ROM here, I'm not a fan of "big customized ROMs", so I'm posting my own CM9 build here.
As the title name suggests, it's a lite version of the CM9. The full CM9 has ~130MB [without Google Apps], and my lite version has only ~100MB [with Google Apps].
Now, I'm posting my own CM10 build here too. It isn't too lite as CM9, but full CM10 [144MB] + Google Apps [85MB] is bigger then CM9, so the minimum I got was 118MB, making it similar with my CM9 lite.
My main goal here is to provide something simple and clean. Hope you like...
Some of the features [CM10 and CM9]
Click to collapse
Not even a little bloated [even update-script was cleanned]
Siyah kernel [gokhanmoral]
ThunderBolt! scripts deactivated + screenstate scaling modified activated [pikachu01]
Trebuchet launcher
Gallery app from CM9 zip [not the one from Google Apps][only CM9]
New boot animation [thanks to someone I don't remember who is]
Stock appearence [nothing visual changed]
No CWM manager. Siyah installs it automatically, so I disabled it
Some small build.prop tweaks
Lots of apks removed. Email, Voice Dialer, Google Search, Browser, and more
Google Apps also cleaned. Removed some stuff like some libs, Talk, Search, Voice Search, and more
Seems fast and economic enough to me. If you do not like Siyah, I provided a zip to restore to "stock kernel-defaults"
Undervolt init.d script inside, if you want to undervolt by script and not by apps
Separated zip with Google Search + Voice Search included [only CM10]
Multi-DPI support [only CM10, for now]
218dpi [only CM10, for now]
LQB RIL, which suck less. Better compatibility using LQ6 modem [only CM10, for now]
*Maybe other stuff you may only find out after installing [in other words, I may not remember]
Some tips for you
Click to collapse
ThunderBolt! scripts are disabled by default. Please, read it's original thread, and then copy the scripts you want from /system/etc/scripts to /system/etc/init.d. [you may want to use main script {S97system_tweak}, it's awesome. Please note it sets i/o scheduler to sio automatically.
Gallery from Google Apps isn't good. I'm using the one from the CM9 zip {Gallery2.apk}. It's pretty good, runs faster, it's cleaner, made my Media server battery % go down a little bit... [only CM9]
You may want to use AdAway to block ads. I didn't put that because it gets updated very easy. But it's usually the first app I install after I install the ROM.
If you don't like Siyah and want to go to another kernel, please flash the "default kernel zip". I optimized the ROM to don't install busybox, as Siyah already installs, and also, blocked CWM manager install. "default kernel zip" will delete my Siyah optimizations by cleaning old files, installing busybox and flashing stock CM9/CM10 kernel.
If you want CWM manager, delete /system/.siyah n' reboot.
You won't find any browser after installing. It's because I'm using Chrome, so I don't need stock browser. I recommend Chrome very much, but just make sure you disable Tilt Scrolling, to don't get the damn wakelock which will absolutely drain all your battery.
I included a undervolt script {/system/etc/scripts/S92CPU_Voltages}. PLEASE, before copying to init.d, edit with YOUR undervolt set. Those are mine, and I'm using only 5 steps on Siyah. Make sure you adapt it to you.
Don't flash Google Apps. Everything you need at one zip.
Some good Siyah settings for ExTweaks: ondemand, sio, 5 cpu steps, logger disabled, choose any vibration level [i use 3]. Please, don't limit the performance a lot, leave everything else stock except undervoltage [if you know what you are doing]. Don't care a lot about battery, always prefer performance [smooth performance at some point, where you get no lags]
Don't care about battery. Use and abuse your phone. If your battery isn't going further than 2 days, just plug your charger at day one. This ROM may be economic for you. What I do: if the battery can last at least from morning to evening, it's good enough to me. Then, I plug to the charger and sleep. Much better than looking at battery % all the time.
Screenstate scaling scales your CPU depending on your screen state. Screen-on: ondemand/1,2GHz max-200MHz min. Screen-off: ondemand/500MHz max-200MHz min. This may save a lot/some juice.

Since you speak portuguese too, it's "Rolar ao inclinar" in the "Ferram. para desenvolvedores". Just disable it and done. If you don't, you will get the suspend_backoff wakelock, which can drain from 100% to 0% in some hours, even with screen off.

No, just need to copy. But the remounti9100 needs to be activated on Script Manager(as root and boot). I think Siyah already include many parts of ThunderBolt, but I'll take a look.

You can't. Those are apks from a Samsung ROM, so CM9 is incompatible. If you want another dialer, you may try exDialer. I tested it sometime ago and it doesn't seems bad.
Downloading... gonna try it in a bit
I have one "tips" tho: IMHO one of the best way to make a LITE rom is to include everything (for everything I mean CM9 + gapps things ) and let the user decide on what he/she want's with the aroma installer!
Well, download almost finished gonna try it as a second ROM on siyah kernel, or i will get problem if i install this as second ROM?
Thanks and keep up the good work

the problem with aroma is that u will have to provide everything in one package. the goal here is i think to keep filesize as small as possible. i like the idea about a lite stable cm9 version. every addon can be found here on the forum or in the play store so no need to include them. its a good base to build on. thx marcello!

Yeah, i know that! I think the goals are 2:
1) Provide a lite stable rom
2) Reduce the package file
Maybe he can create 2 separate files: with and without aroma, this way he can bring the user experience even further obviously this is my "idea" and only giving a different point of view
Actually I'm on test, no problem atm
How about a Lite CM10?

I did this to myself (the one I'm using is adapted a little for me, a bit optimized for Brazil and some other system apks), something small, that I can leave on my phone without killing too much space. And include everything with aroma I would have to change the name from Lite to Full But anyway, if I have time, I could make it with aroma, but not with everything, just with the stuff people usually uses.
But mainly, I want to provide small file sizes and fast downloads. [100MB and download at mediafire {the best, full speed, no ridiculous waitings}]
Thanks, btw

Hi all, this ROM is amazing, so fast, smooth and superb battery life.
Question: if I update syiah kernel in the future, the optmizing for cm9 lite + syiah 4.1 beta 6, will be lost?

No. Explaining better those optimizations:
1. removed busybox. Siyah already have busybox.
2. Blocked CWM manager install. I don't like it, and is much easy to go recovery from power dialog
pretty much that. So I don't see any problem in upgrading Siyah, or even changing to another kernel. The default kernel zip is only to users who likes the stock cm kernel / the kernel they are installing doesn't have busybox / clean up old siyah files. Oh, i'm going to make it also hide siyah's boot logo. Next version, maybe.
Working on CM10. In a few hours (maybe 1h, depending on my upload rate ["1mpbs on paper", but not very true]) I'll put it here. Is someone interested on the Google Voice Search? Just in case I'll put in a separatly zip later (first, CM10), because it costs like 30MB, and I want to get in the double digits (<100MB). If anyone knows some tweaks on 7z rather then "ultra" it would be very useful.
edit: no more double digits... full CM10 is 144MB and Google Apps is 85MB. The minimum size I got was 118MB.
updated thread with CM10... hope you guys like it. Please, some feedbacks, if anyone installs it
Project deleted. Post reported for delete.

Is the Smart Launcher built into the system i.e dosen't have to run all the time and just pops out after pressing home button.
The stock launcher only does that and otherwise it's a waste of ram.

I cant make an flashable update.zip in UpdateZipCreator, even it says "Done", the CWM says "Installation aborted"
And because i'm very busy and we have many (hard) exams on our school i have to pause this project. But! In october we will have like 5days of holidays, but thats too late. Overview
This rom combines the style of the Xperia UI while removing the bloat that Sony shovels along with it to provide an experience unmatched! Only the best of Xperia features have survived in my purge of Sony's firmware This rom is to be installed on STOCK Sony F/w Only ! (ie, 6.1.1.B.1.10, 6.1.1.B.1.54, or 6.1.1.C.1.0 ) Depending on the base firmware, you might encounter bugs as such and not directly related to the rom (Yes, Im referring mostly to the broken tethering in B.1.54 )

Installation Instructions
Stock ICS Rom (With no Rooted edits/Mods) : Flash zip via CWM ( Factory Reset.etc is automatically taken care of )
Stock ICS Rom With Mods or Custom Rom : Flash Stock FTF, and then flash with CWM
For Devices running a custom Kernel, Please flash CustomKernelSupport.zip via CWM before booting! Note: This zip file only makes sure there is no clashes, etc and doesnt allow running a Custom Kernel On a Bootloader-Locked Device Also, Install the Kernel & the stock FTF first, before you flash the ROM & CustomKernelSupport else you might lose Root access.Im looking into a fix for this now, but till then, I believe you can just reroot it with Bin4ry method ( or alternatively, reinstall again in the order I just gave)
If you are getting "Cant access tmp/recovery.log" or something similar in CWM every time you select an option, Just Wipe Cache.. A bit stupid really, the origin of the problem. My script automatically wipes Cache. But since CWM isnt getting the order directly from user,It keeps looking for files there lol ( No data will be lost just maybe 2-3 seconds more for next boot lol )

The Addons Package contains the following mods which I recommend you do install. However, I want this ROM to be fast and simple, while allowing customization options for the end-user. For this reason, I have included these mods as an Additional zip which is an optional Install.
Just flash via CWM and Reboot! You can flash directly after installing the rom or later after booting it up

Ps : I think very few U's can get an Antutu score of 7398 without Overclocking [ Antutu ] And this was taken after installing Addons Pack as well as a few apps I use for testing

First Release
Hints For Better Performance/Battery
There isnt much to post here since I already included most of them in the rom itself But here goes!
1) Go to Settings>Development Options and Change Animation and Transition Speed to 0.5x
2) Download NoFrills CPU Control and change Governor to Lulzactiveq and Scheduler to SIO. Tick the 'Set On Boot' Option
Hotfixes/ Bugs List
[*]"Cant access tmp/recovery.log" or similar error in CWM - Just Wipe Cache once and the issue will be resolved ! Cant be automated in the zip. Sorry guys !
[*]For users who lost root, either via using Custom Kernel or updating the Su Binary - Just open Superuser, swipe left and check if the Binary you have is 3.1.1 or some other version. If it is NOT 3.0.3.2, we got a probem, so just copy the file "su" from system/xbin folder in my Rom zip file and paste it in the same directory on your phone (overwrite if necessary) with permission 777 and issue will be resolved. Note : Same applies for Locked Bootloader in case Root issues arise. The Latest su binary has issues which is why I included a tested and working Su instead
[*]Nothing else So Far.. Comment on thread or message me if you get anything!
PS : If you are about to install, Preferably flash the custom kernel first, then the stock ftf (while excluding Stock Kernel ofc ) followed by my Rom,then the CustomKernel Support and optionally, the Addons Package No need to clear data.etc when flashing any of my zips. .They do that themselves But in case, you get any errors when starting recovery, just Wipe Cache (No data will be lost, Dont worry) and it will be solved

Either way is fine But immediately after installing would be preferable cause it saves time

What is custom kernel support
Sent from my Xperia U using Tapatalk 2
Yeah it works fine on any F/w You need to flash that zip after installing rom if you're using a kernel like Munjeni's which is not stock.
Awesome
Looks nice. What if I don't like the charging and boot animations though? How do I get them to default?
Nice work bro keep it up....

Another question, is this overclocked? The post about the benchmark score gives me a hint that it is.

Ah then you got the wrong hint This Antutu score was obtained on a Bootloader Locked Xperia U running my ROM and it was clocked at 1GHz Hence me specifically stating : "I think very few U's can get an Antutu score of 7398 without Overclocking" To overclock, you need a Custom kernel like Munenji's.. Cant be done with Stock

I see. I have an unlocked bootloader and I'm about to try it out. Just finished reflashing stock ftf and I'm going to use munjeni's CWM Touch Recovery w/ Mem Tweak to install this, will it be okay?
Pretty sure cause I havent touched Kernel at all in this But make sure to apply the CustomBootloaderSupport zip file before booting into the rom to remove the Governors in this rom. Else they will conflict with the Kernel and cause issues ! Let me know how it works out
To remove the governors? What will I lose without them then? Oh btw, do you also have the custom add-ons on your XU as well when you took the benchmark result? I'm thinking of adding them, although I'm not sure if all of them are good.
Munjeni's Kernel has Governors inbuilt in them so they would clash with the Governors made by AnDyX ( the ones in my rom). So when you are gonna flash unlocked bl, Flashing that zip will remove the Governors to avoid conflict. But you wont be able to tell the difference in them,Dont worry
And to state Simply, A Governor is in charge of what clockspeed your CPUs run at.. When load is less, Governor might decide to lower the cpu speed to save battery.etc Different Governors behave differently wrt to the situation hence you can select the Governor of your choice
The Benchmark was taken with Addons package, although at a different time (hence the different clock times, Dont want anyone to raise questions later lol ) And its easy enough to remove any Addon in that package so its not an issue If you dont like any one of them, just let me know which one and Ill make you a zip to remove it Alternatively, all those mods can be found somewhere or the other on XDA itself So just search and add the ones you like instead I just made them into 1 zip to reduce time and also a few little edits to declutter it all
Nah, it'll be alright. Can't wait to try it out, booting time is taking quite a while atm after recently installing munjeni's cwm and doing a reformat. Will tell you the results later if I still can. Thanks for answering the questions btw

ok mate Have fun And no worries Feel free to ask me qns. here on Thread or via PM
Done flashing! Not getting any problems with it atm, followed the guide correctly. Looks smooth, I got a benchmark score of 7191 w/ the add-ons. I had a 5k+ on my prev rom. I hope I won't be needing to look for another rom for a long time .
Edit: I want to install and use Root Explorer and Titanium Backup, however I can't use both because it can't get root access. I am seeing superuser on my phone and flashtool says it is rooted. I dunno how to solve this, I need to restore stuff using T.Backup .___.
Great to hear Glad you liked it mate Suggestions and feedback welcome
