Hi everyone,
Due to a certain female acquaintance of mine my phone has suffered some medium-serious cosmetic damage.
The screen has a large scratch on it and the reflective bezel is chipped in multiple places.
I contacted the authorised HTC repairer in Australia and I got a quote for ~400 AUD.
I have looked around and found that I can buy the screen/digitizer separately but haven't found where to obtain the bezel. Would anyone be able to help me? I'm comfortable repairing the phone on my own.
Thanks for any help in advance
What about ebay?

Hey, first time tread starter and maybe there is a tread already for my question but I cant find it. So my question is, on my atrix 4g, I was replacing the digitizer and when I was pulling up the triangle/ arrow part of the flex cable that snaps onto the digitizer connector I ripped it off on accident, I wanted to know if that would be a cause for my brand new digitizer not working?
I already ordered the flex cable off ebay and it should be here by the end of the week. I buy and sell phones on ebay so I know how common it is to get bad digitizers.
I am asking here in order to see if that ripped triangle/ arrow that points down on the flex cable is the cause of the non working digitizer or is it the a faulty digitizer from the seller that sold it to me?
I am attaching a picture of the piece I ripped off, it is circled in red. If it cant be seen please let me know, as I have never done this before.
Due to a workplace accident I ended up smashing the screen of my Padfone S Plus. I replaced the screen myself which didn't quite go to plan as I must have damaged the digitizer somehow. I ended up getting another screen and digitizer and got it fitted at a phone repair shop. I've now got a repaired screen which I can barely use without docking it in the tablet as the touchscreen is just sluggish. Just wondering if anyone has one they are looking to offload.
Thanks
