I have ordered my razor and it will be here tomorrow. One question I have is why is there no q&a section

welcome!
and idk, I think it has to do with the size of the community maybe? not sure
Hopefully we get that section also.

I've always thought q&a was redundant comparing to "general." JMHO
PLEASE LEARN HOW TO SPELL THE NAME OF THE PHONE!
thank you.
Got my razr and i love this phone lol

Hi I thought this might be helpful for other noobs such as myself. I would like to safely install Ice Cream Sandwich on my Skyrocket and possibly install a new rom through rooting the device. I have read the instructions on the various forums and I am very confused to say the least. Any help is appreciated!

No.. HE has it all wrong. We are in the right forum, he is not. And if you haven't gathered this by now... if you go asking questions in the wrong forum on XDA and don't acknowledge it... then you get roasted.

I'm going to say it.
I'd think twice before buying a Motorola product. They will abandon you slowly and painfully.
Take it back and get your money back. Read the original forums for the Photon 4G for a little perspective.

Just wanted to get some opinions on the new nexus 4 and see if anyone else is gonna grab it since is at a reasonable price.... or is the note 2 the way to go....and also which well have great dev support???
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
There is an entire forum area dedicated to the N4, why not ask there instead...
I'd say Note 2, removable battery, bigger screen, SD CARD, removable back, S PEN.

Well the Nexus 4 and the GN2 are two different types of phones I thought. Plus it depends what you're looking for.
Something with pure power....speed and lots of roms

Is there any way to port Ubuntu touch developer preview to Verizon i605. I seen it was on the n7100. I would like to try it , but I have no clue how to port or make roms. Any help would be well appreciated.
Have you seen this - - > https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Touch/Porting
I was playing around with porting Touch, but got side tracked with some fun with RootBox.
Yes I have but I am on windows 7. Im not good with linux yet. I just wana test the rom out.

Its not that simple. You can either install linux and do the work yourself or hope someone else does it.

Was hoping lol. I seen the n7100 has it. Didnt think it would be that hard but it is. Ill just wait.
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda app-developers app
Well, you could always backup your device and install the n7100 version. See of it will boot. If it does or doesn't, with a backup, no harm no foul.

You'll probably mainly need a kernel for the lte hardware in the 7105/every American model.

I can make a build if I was given a week, college life and crap will probably get in the way. If you have any spare computers, you can put them to use and run Ubuntu on them. Don't install the international version, too many different parts. Try looking through at&t/tmobile/sprint forums seeing how radios won't matter at all.
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda premium
That would be great.
