ok, here we go.
Last days peetr_ and me worked on fixing kernel stuff for cm9.
I want to post here our current state of kernel, based on latest github sources of jokersax (thank you for hard working all the time).
any kernels from here: ramdisk will not work with joker's beta 0.1.0 since it has sdcard-ext standart, use his latest builds with emmc/sdcard
[V1]
Some info about fixes:
1. integrated 1% battery directly to kernel, you don't need to install zip fix that I did myself before.
2. activated xt_quota[2], xt_qtaguid addons, it means Network statistics, Battery statistics work now as they should; actually it should increase battery life.
3. some small things
tested as update on beta 0.2, I didn't try full wipe with that kernel.
to be continued.
++++++++++++++++
[V2b]
changes [added]
1. battery fix from peetr_, great idea.
2. jit for cpu
3. avp patch
4. ppp stability patch
5. more cpu patches
6. mem cache improvement
7. some kernel small fixes
++
8. bluedroid lib replacing, it is from CM7 [temp_fix] -> less errors of bluetooth dbus, less drain, but it is still broken (concerning battery life)
++
8. separated version of 1.4 kernel by PM request, not tested. - ready, file was updated.
9. includes all fixes of V1
links at the bottom
10. fix of V2 old version regarding touchpad strange states.
++++++++++++
[V3]
1. touchpad major fix
2. cpu improvements
3. irq improvements
4. tcp/udp patches ()
5. battery will not fool you with 101% ++
6. other things
++++++++++++
[V4]
1. kernel
1.1 tons of fixes + peetr_'s awesome ramdisk work
1.2 as test showed, better battery life in idle mode.
1.3 separated to 1.0, 1.3, 1.4 kernels.
1.4 download in mediafire, can't attach files for strange reason here.
1.0 GHz
1.3 GHz
1.4 GHz
2. ROM
2.0 MUST WIPE /cache partition before installing
2.1 fixed bluedroid (compiled for cm9)
2.2 torch works
2.3 included 1.3 v4 kernel with modules
2.4 fixed some phone app mistakes (credits to avalakvista)
2.5 GSM fix (for international GSM, not USA): it must be installed if you wipe ALL data, (/data and /cache partitions). If you want to install this ROM after other CM9 without wiping /data and you had working GSM, then flashing GSM fix is optional. If you have com.android.phone error after first boot of ROM, then you should wipe all /data and /cache and install ROM, then GSM fix.
download GSM fix
2.6 recommend to use joker-gapps-v10 (can be found in his thread-first post-of cm9)
2.7 there some other fixes but I dont actually remember
2.8 download link here.

added fixes from turl and faux, thanks to them.

Both show up on my phone. Probably haven't done the fix for the sd card that's listed in the "cm9 fixes" thread....
This is just a kernel...sd card issue is in vold.fstab

Do you have "use internal storage" checked in your "advanced" under system settings? That will cause problems....storages (internal and external) will read backwards...
The Emmc(internal storage) shows up at the BOTTOM of the "storage" section...
Which file manager did you use? If you use Root Explorer, mount as R/W, and open in text editor, it shouldn't revert...
Did you make sure you changed the correct 2? I had a guy last night who was changing the wrong one...it needs to be the one specific one...

Thanks a lot....i had to mount as R/W in root explorer...everything is fine now.
Gonna test now... Does anyone have jokers stock kernel handy in case we need to revert?
Feel free to call my lazy about backing up and restoring but it'd be much easier and quicker to just flash the kernel ;0)

This ROM is built from Cyanogen's github repositories with some additional features added by myself.
More specifically, the primary goal of this build is to test a new method for doing Apps2SD that is a bit more friendly. You can read the brainstorming thread for this process here.
The implementation is working, and there are known issues with it. I expect to make regular releases as I perfect the code. As of right now, this should be considered an alpha.
All source code is available on GitHub.
ADDITIONAL "SNACKS":
- Apps2SD w/ enable&disable setting in native Settings application.
- SD EXT partition mounted at /sd-ext
INTRUCTIONS:
You will need an ext partition on your SD card for this to work. Wipe first, flash the update, and optionally flash the Google Addon (see below). The included kernel supports ext2/ext3/ext4.

CHANGELOG:
Version 0.2.1
- Bootloop fix.
Version 0.2
- Removed prompt for install location, too buggy right now.
- Added Enable/Disable setting in "Settings->Applications". Enable this to install new applications to SD, disable to install to Internal. Does not require a reboot.
- Added "Install Location" to application info (Settings->Applications->Manage Applications).
- Applications installed on SD are now also dexopted on SD.
- Full orientation hacks by optedoblivion.
- Custom "sexy nexus" LWP theme. Enable by going to the "Settings" option in the Nexus LWP.
- Anything included in CM5.0.4.1 is also in this version of SnackPack.
Version 0.1
- Initial Release

that won't happen as there are too many framework changes going on
so this means each time Cyanogen updates his rom you will be updating this to match? Or once this is stable cyanogen will include it in his rom?
this is awesome- and why i bought a nexus- the development of android is flying along with this device- Google must be very happy with how all this is going...
Bug list as I can see now:
1. Installed apps from market with prompt fine.
2. Hangs up when trying to install apps from sd. (yes I have pirated apps, sue me)
3. Installed AndExplorer and Metamorph both from market, (both to sd) when starting Metamorph, it says it needs AndExplorer. Reinstalled AE and it picked it up.
4. Rebooted after morphing, and then everything I had just installed was gone.

From talks with cyanogen, theres a chance he will include it once it becomes stable (he has even hinted towards lending a hand in the development). To answer your first question, when Cyanogen updates his stuff those changes will be pulled in to this ROM as well.
ok installed linpack to sd and the scores suck, I asssume this has to do with the sd card speed, also to open linpack I had to go to market, I couldnt see it in my menu. infact no apps I chose to install to sd showed up. If I go to market and select them they say installed and I can choose to open them but without going thru this process I cant access them.
NO SH-T! THis is awesome work man!...kudos!
amazing work chris... kudos... using your snackpack for a couple of hrs now... loving it!!!! gonna try to install a hell of a lot of apps and test it out as much as I can... but so far, it's been behaving amazingly...
Code:
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/block/mtdblock3 148480 99228 49252 67% /system
/dev/block/mtdblock5 200960 27800 173160 14% /data
/dev/block/mtdblock4 97280 48804 48476 50% /cache
/dev/block/mmcblk0p2 467918 12895 430058 3% /sd-ext
/dev/block//vold/179:1 3334952 16852 3318100 1% /sdcard
got abt 12 apps installed (installed from market) sd-ext... and all work well... even after several reboots...
Ok, so I ussed this for a while last night and mostly it seems good, I went to my standard Cyanogen Rom, have 3 back ups, one desire, this and my Main CM5. when I tried to restore the back of this ROM it failed. My other back ups work fine. I have a Nan+ext back up of everything. I will try to reproduce it this afternoon after class.

Yes it does.
I have 224 programs installed and I have only used 12Mb of internal memory.
CM does support Apps2sd.
CM supports apps2sd but you have to initialize it yourself. You have to set up the partitions and then you have to set it up.
I'm already have old AP2SD on CM ROM, can we install only the new AP2SD on the existing CM ROM?
This is great. I am loving it.

Q&A: [ROM-1.2/GRJ90] CM7Tab for the GTab (based on CM7 Nightlies) [Update: 08-15-11]
MOD EDIT: THIS IS THE Q&A SECTION FOR [ROM - 1.2] CyanogenMod 7 nightlies for the GTab
ALL Q&A FOR THIS ROM HAPPENS HERE.
Thanks.
---------------------------------------------------
As suggested, I have decided to make my own thread for the Cyanogenmod nightlies and other ROMs. It will make things a lot easier in the long run.
Disclaimer: as with the other Roms, Use at your own risk! Since the CM7 nightlies are basically an ongoing beta, you run the risk to brick your Gtab if you are not careful. Use to learn NxFlash first before attempting to flash ROMS. Also, do yourself a favor and get Titanium Backup! Always backup yours apps/settings and wipe data/cache/dalvik before flashing.
These will be using the bootloader's 1.2 Pershoot's kernel (2.6.32.43 / 1.4 ghz Kernel) for GB. This ROM works with the Gtab and should work with the ZPAD altough I have no confirmation of this yet.
Thanks goes out to: Team Douche/Cyanogenmod Devs for making a great ROM, Zyhong for showing me how to update to 1.2 and a few more tricks, Maxdamage for taking the time to compile the nightlies for 1.1 users, Pershoot for making such a great kernel and Roebeet for being the one that inspired me to take my journey down the Android rom lane.
1) latest version of CM7Tab: CM7Tab build 08082011 (Nightlies changelog)
2) Test CM7Tab with 4950 drivers: Test Build 08152011
Changes in modified version
1- replaced DSPmanager.apk with a previous version that is known to work (7.0.3) (if you open it, it FCs)
2- vold.fstab is setup as sdcard for internal storage & emmc for external card
3- using pershoot's 2.6.32.43 GB kernel for 1.2 bootloader (For more info, check his blog.
4- Read_ahead_kd increased from 128 to 2048.
5- Set up overclocking by default and battery saver script + cpu governors via userinit.sh (from Zyhong's ROM, based on Caulkin's scripts).
6- Replaced Camera libs & apk to stop the 8-bit pixelling.
7- Increased dalvik.vm.heapsize to 64m (07102011)
8- Set some values to improve video playback (07272011)
9- Changed values for lowmemorykiller minfree in init.rc (08072011).
10- changed EMMC to microsd (08072011)
11- updated ROM up to 2.3.5 (08072011)
12- Camera fix (08082011)
To-do list:
1- remove some apks (such as Rom manager) & create a removed apks folder.
--------------------------------
Issues:
1) Once you set up DSPmanager, it force crashes.
1) Vanilla CM7 nightly (only vold.fstab was modified): Latest build: Build 07262011 (Changelog)
If you have suggestions/ideas, do not hesitate to share them.
thank you.

I tried it today but was getting a lot of fc's, it did seem a little faster then I remember except the boot up was really slow as I remember. I did not give it a full try because I failed to wipe everything because I was at work and wasn't really supposed to be on it. I will do it again tonight with full wipe and see if it gives better results and let you know.
I just realized you have a tab build so I will try that one. The one thing I noticed right away with cm7 is that my tablet looked like a phone and I have been jumping around from HC roms and got used to a more tablet specific rom. I will give you update in a few hours I think.
Edit: have been trying for a couple of hours now but sent me in to boot loop had nvflash back to stock, will give it another shot once this silly Tap n Tap is finished loading.

Dalingrin was kind enough to provide a fix that seems to resolve most of the problems with market (including buying apps). It was merged in build 07092011+ so give it a try and tell me how it goes.

The FCs you were getting were probbly from DSPManager. It is a known issue that seems to come from a "broken pipe" in one of the libs. For now, it is best just to remove it.
For the bootup, someone suggested moving apps to the SD card. Apparently, it would speed up the process.
I am conscious that 2.3.4 is made with phones in mind but it is a step up from Froyo and having partial hardware acceleration helps.
Just tried again and got stuck on CM7 logo boot loop, this was with the CM7 tab build. did full wipe of cache, dalvik, and user data. Not sure what happened. Restoring to Illuminate rom if you have some ideas on how or what else I can do to try this rom let me know.
Hey there Ice.
First off, awesome work on this and thank you for taking the time.
I would recommend editing the build.prop file to set the Manufacturer to HTC. This fixes the playback issue with Netflix (Chipmunk). I tested this out fully on my gTab last night and it's the ONLY setting that needs to be modified. Aside from that, everything seems to work.
Good work!
Hi
Has anyone tried installing volume+ on this rom? I'm on BL1.1 CM7 rom but volume+ does not install. If this works, I'll take the bold step to upgrade to BL1.2.
I don't know if it's just my hardware. My gtab's speaker is very soft and I want to try cranking it up with volume+ (which works on my phone running cm7).
thanks a lot.
DroidTV phone size not full screen....Anyone have other apps that did that after....
I was using DroidTV, and it was full-screen and then rebuild my G Tab with the cm7tabl-0710200-1.2 and when I reinstalled DroidTV it is now phone size display on the G Tablet.
I used Titanium Backup to restore the app and the settings. Anyone have issues like this with an app that did that after re-installing after a full rebuild? Any build.prop setting or somewhere I could check?
Thanks. Steve.
Thanks everyone for your feedback.
@Mike: I have heard of this before and wasn't sure if anyone would be interested in it. I will change that on the CM7Tab version in the next few days.
@Vhend: Yes, Vol+ works on 1.2. You enter CWM and it works great here.
@Artful: I will look into this. It might just be that the rsolution isnÈt set right. I will let you know how it goes.

Thanks Ice. Other than that I have yet to find any major issues that in the build.
Other than apps that open portrait only with the bottom on the side with the power button. Tried to say to not rotate 90 degrees but they still open that way Apps that open landscape then won't rotate to the 90 degree position but portrait apps still open that way
This is the most stable I have used and performance seems good. A co-workers has the same build, I installed it for them since they are techie-challenged, and theirs is turtle slow because I think they have Skype running all the time.

sorry for not being clear. I did not mean pressing the volume+ button. i actually meant this app to boost the volume of gtablet.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1023433
I guess the app has dependencies on dsp manager, that's why it did not work on my B1.1 cm7. Since you have replaced the dsp with a workable one in your rom, I would like to check if the volume+ app works here.
Appreciate your work on the rom!

Actually, I think it has more to do with a problem with one of the audio libraries. I did a logcat and it seems something called AudioFlinger can't set a parameter properly.
If anyone can fix this, I can send the logcat to help out.
I wanted to apologize for not being able to upload the new nightly today. I had to rebuild my computer and took the opportunity to switch to a new Linux distro. Just tested the new system and all is great.
I will post Build 07172011 later this morning.
Where are the nightly's getting posted now? Thanks and this is the most stable MOD I've had on my G Tab.
Do video apps work as far as no rotation with Oovoo, yahoo, reelportal, etc? Audio work okay with chatting?

Battery:some are complaining of battery life...so i thought id add a section to maybe help out with it. not promising that any of these will miraculously make you get any amount of extra life just commonly used tips
turn off auto-brightness and lower it
turn off wifi, gps, bluetooth, and sync when not using it
turn off auto-rotate when not using it
make sure you exit out of programs when available so they dont run in the background
try using themes with darker colors some say the darker the better pulls less battery (opinion not fact so dont flame me here....)
go into apps and set the sync time on your accounts to sync less frequently
set screen off time to be lower
turn off haptic feedback, sound on touch, sound on lockscreen
try flashing a cm9 kernel and underclocking it and/or undervolting it
turn off some or all animations
try calibrating the battery
do research on software you install and use. delete apps you don't use, expecially antiviruses or other stuff that launches all the time
if all else fails set the phone down and walk away slowly.........

Can't wait to try, everyone says good things of MIUI but wasn't an ICS one I was comfortable enough with to install.
Can't get usb or bluetooth to work. Says roamming indicator off. Running very smooth and fast. Great job!

If usb gets up and running it might become my daily driver.
My suggestions. For usb, include usb.apk from some older versions of cm9. It's needed for cm9 too. Don't know why it's not included. And for bluetooth, try additional kernel from oleg and me.
What about gapps? Or we can use Jocker's?

Beta 1 CyanogenMod 7.2.0 KANG ROM for the Player 5.0 USA and INTL
Preliminary release, less problems than before.
Please note that for now I have removed the assert that was causing problems for INTL users, but this means nothing will stop you from installing this ROM on the wrong device! Please make sure you have a Galaxy Player 5.0 USA or INTL before installing this ROM!
Instructions:
Install Entropy512's kernel if you're on stock ROM.
Do a backup!
Copy ROM to /mnt/sdcard/
Reboot into Recovery Mode
Wipe Data/Factory Reset
Install zip from sdcard
Reboot
Not that installing this ROM will automatically convert your rfs partitions to ext4 (lagfix). Except for the /efs partition which I'm scared to touch.
Known Issues:
Camcorder doesn't work
Wireless issues
Boot loop when plugged in to USB port while powered down
Fixed in Beta 1:
Camera
Vibration
Fixed in Alpha 2:
External sdcard mounts properly. By default, internal sdcard mounts as /mnt/sdcard and external sdcard mounts as /mnt/emmc. This is a better default I think since some devices may not have an external sdcard. To switch, go to Settings -> CyanogenMod settings -> Application and uncheck "Use internal storage"
Airplane Mode
Wireless seems more reliable? Not perfect..
Updated to Entropy512's overclocking kernel
TODO:
Unify with tdmcode 4.0 release if possible..
More testing. Please post your issues
Thanks to tdmcode for the help and Entropy512 for the kernel. Thanks also to noisyfox for the INTL fix.

Ok I've installed this.. I've notice:
1: wifi turnoff when i lock my player but doesnt turn on automatically
2: camera bugs confirmed
3: music in sd doesnt appear in players
Looking forward to giving this a try once more of the bugs are worked out.. good work!
Awesome job! I can't thank you guys enough for how much you are doing!
I have a INTL device and I just can't wait to help you to test it! By the way, good job!
I'm porting MIUI to G70 so I'm sure I can learn a lot from your CM7 rom!
Haha, I'm so excited!
Woooo
Thank you a lot for your effort, definitely going to flash this once it is downloaded!
Just tried it since I was curious.. looks really cool! Seems to be working pretty well considering it's an alpha build. I've never actually seen CM7 before so that was interesting.
I'll definitely be using it once its out of alpha!
Hey good job.
Is there a possibility that this ROM could also come out for the International version?

Umm they don't work because you can't use this ROM. This is for U.S.A users only. Sorry. But I tested it, works FANTASTIC! Camera is a bit funny lol and everything is so smooth. ICS themes work Love it, great, thanks for your hard work! WiFi is also not a problem for me soo I don't know about any problems with that. One thing i do wanna mention is that GApps wasn't on here, so i downloaded that and it works just fine. It synced all my apps back in and everything is fine. THANKS!

I know, so I'm trying to fix it(maybe it's too hard for me).
I want to replace it's driver with rj's kernel...
But I don't know how to unpack boot.img....
I tried split_bootimg.pl but it don't work... I also tried hex editor but failed...
To recognize my SD all I did was remove it and put it back. The wifi is a problem for me. The camera is funny lol. A few apps. Are not installing properly. Installed Gapps and it seems to be working. All in all needs a few bug fixes, but this is a great ROM. oh, and the overclocking would be a nice feature to get working.

edit: my wifi does not work, home menu back buttons lights not on, back camera is reversed and front camera upside down, when i press record the bottom screen flashes green and silver

I dont have any problems with sd but wifi just dont turn on anymore so i had to get back to entropy's kernel
I'll try next update
Wifi seems to be working without any issues and the camera seems to be working but the image is mirrored. Installed Gapps and the market is working again. My SD card is working normally too, although the music library seems to be non-functional.
The only issue I've come across so far is that for some reason when I installed zeam launcher it just force closes. Also just noticed that none of the capacitive button lights work.. although I'm not sure that's a bad thing.
If you have a non-USA 5.0 you can't just install this ROM and reflash the kernel, becuase the "kernel" on samsung devices contains a lot of ROM-specific files from the root filesystem (init.rc being the main one).
I need someone with a non-USA 5.0 to post the following:
outputs of:
adb shell cat /proc/mounts
adb shell ls -l /dev/block/
Then, most critically, reboot into CWM recovery and go to Advanced -> Key Test. Press all the buttons on the device and post what the key codes are (for example when you hit the Menu button it should show "Key: 139").
This ROM features a stable enviroment [the most stable tested by me so far], with the least number of bugs (with 366BB), and probably one of the best performances.
Features: This ROM provides a default Portrait screen, it also has as the stock theme - TouchWizzedB (It looks like the Samsung ROM's, don;t know why i like it)
It features BeatsAudio, Bravia Engine and xLoud,
IIt provides a bootanimation and sound provided by Madhacker.
(if the bootsound is not on and you really want it, enter in terminal enablebootsound)
It also provides as the default launcher - GO Launcher Ex.
You can add [highlight]software[/highlight] capacitive buttons in the taskbar - thanks to nom051205 < Zip below
It was tweaked for daily use.
Skype has not been fully fixed, but i found a workaround, after rebooting, call someone, or a number like 444 then close, it should work, tested multiple times and it worked, i'm going to try and make a script to get rid of this step. (sometimes it works without doing a thing, so i think it is about luck )
Also, skype seems to leave the speaker on after singning out creating a huge battery drain, if you experience this kind of issue please remove your Skype and install this one, then go to advanced settings (in skype) > sound settings > disable sign-in/out sounds and Force speaker off after calls.
With those workarounds provided above, you should have a seamless experience with Skype..
FAQ:Q: Does it have USSD fix/Gapps/Phoenix Kernel?
Yes
Q: Is the WiFi stable?
With 366BB i have no problems with WiFi stability.
Q: Do i have to do a full factory reset if i come from other CM7 ROM?
No, just wipe dalvik cache, full factory reset is a must if you come from DSC/FroYo/Official 2.3.3.
Q: How do i flash 366BB?
You put your device in Fastboot, connect the USB and use a tool provided here or here.
Q: I can't install the ROM! Installation Aborted! (yeah, yeah, this is not a question..)
Open the zip file then you will see a folder, go into the folder, select all (meta.inf; system; boot.img) and re-zip those files and name it LXdroid 0.x.zip then flash it.
Credits to nom051205 for using his post almost copy-paste.
Q: What's wrong with Swype? It just FC's?
Install it manually, this should do the trick, you can find swype.apk in a link below.
Bootsound/Bootanimation Script Commands
Terminal commands for scripts:
enablebootsound - enables bootsound
bootsoundoff - turns bootsound off
bootsoundon - turns bootsound on after being turned off
newbootsound - /sdcard/android_audio.mp3 is copied as new bootsound
newbootanim - /sdcard/bootnanimation.zip is copied as new boot animation
(Probably you need to type su before those scripts, just saying...)
Credits go here.
Note: This is my first ROM, feedbacks and head-ups/tips would be welcomed in order to tweak it further.
--Added Screens for those who want to see something
You can upgrade to higher versions of LXdroid ROM without losing your data, just wipe Dalvik Cache!

Quick tutorial aka Roadmap to a Custom ROM -Download ADB/Fastboot tools + Drivers from here. (You need to install the drivers before you begin).
-Download MultiRecoveryFlasher from here.
-Download MultiBasebandFlasher from here or download dsp and baseband flasher by n0p and StreakOwner from here.
-Download a custom ROM like DSC (most stable in my opinion), Longhorn or, the one provided here.
Now let's get started for real!
1-Install the drivers.
2-Put your streak in fastboot by turning the phone off and after that powering on by holding down volume + power button.
3-Open MultiRecoveryFlasher and flash StreakMod recovery. Reboot.
4-Put your streak again in fastboot.
5-Open MultiBasebandFlasher and flash 366BB or the script provided alternatively (does the job all by itself ). Reboot.
6-Enter Recovery by turning the phone off and then powering on holding up volume + down volume + power button.
7-Select "Software upgrade via Update.pkg on Sd Card"
8-A Dell logo and an attention will appear, press power button once to show the menu.
9-Hit advanced to mount sdcard via PC, so the SD card will appear in you PC via recovery.
10-Copy the ROM you downloaded to the sdcard (preferably to root).
11-Hit back in recovery, choose install sdcard updade.zip, then choose zip from sdcard, browse for your zip, and hit the camera button then select yes.
12-After the installation is completed, hit back to the main screen of the recovery, and choose wipe data/factory reset, then wipe cache partition, then choose advanced, wipe dalvik cache, wipe battery status.
13-(It is recommended to reboot again and do a factory reset from the dell recovery, White Letters)
14-The system will take some time to boot up, but you are done, enjoy your custom ROM.-------------------------------In my opinion the fastest and easiest way to get a custom ROM--------------------------------------------------

You can see the CPU settings, freq's and governors but you can't change them from the CM settings, i've included AnTuTu CPU Master Free in the ROM, and the locksreen it works fine on Ring and Lense, Rotary and Sliding Tab are small and aligned to the left. so i would say that no, it doesn't have them fixed as i didn't needed them, but maybe i will look into it.
Personally i use Ring Style at lockscreen and dial screen, with one ring only at lock and the default Freqs (128-998 mhz , Conservative).

You can use alternative software, as i mentioned, there is SetCPU or CPU Master Free, and CPU Master doesn't stay always on in RAM and you can set it to Set frequencies on boot
I think that CM frequiencies support must be added from the kernel, so i don't think i can do something about it

Hello!
I like the ROM!
Only the Longhorn 2.9.1 Quadrant 2300 points for that!
The LXdroid only 0.1 points in 1408.
Well, it's a huge difference.
Test Battery, but the IGO primo 9 to be strong!
This looks like a very fast everything works properly (from my experience it!)

I made this ROM without testing Quadrant,i never trusted that benchmark , i tested with AnTuTu Benchmark and it is not a big difference from Longhorn to LXdroid, i still need to tweak something more, but the overall feel is smooth as butter in my experience and the battery life is just great for me.
