I am running the AOKP ROM Build 25 ICS and V14 B4 for use with THS 6.0 kernel.
I have everything working right except my GCalender will not sync. I have gone through all the settings and where I can choose sync for everything under the accounts the Calender portion is not there. I also tried setting up a new calender account with my Google account, and it tells me I already have the account setup on the device.
Do I need to run a 3rd party calender app? Any help would be great. Thank you.

Start off by not bumping an irrelevant thread from last year, then contact Facebook for support.

Facebook SNS sync compatibility with ICS is very awkward. Why? Because Facebook and Google are having issues.
You
can still sync however, by installing the Facebook app or alternatives from market e.g friendcaster. They will get the job done and syncing will be working fine once more.

Sorry about that, Facebook had sync issues with ICS, and thus CM9 but it seems the problem is worsened with CM10. Hasync also does not even have jellybean support yet.
Download another Facebook app e.g friendcaster. Your problem should be solved
Swyped from my Samsung Galaxy SII
Hello
Since so time ago I'm not being able to sync my contacts with my google account.
I'm using the CM9, allways last update.
It allways give me erro that sync is with problems, that it will be return another time.
is this CM9 problem or google problem? Any one know how to solve this?
all the other items sync without problems.
I do not know what it is.
I was never able to sync browser neither on GB nor on ICS.
I used many many firmwares based on stock on GB/ICS and AOSP and AOKP on ICS but it never synced the browser. Always said that I should try again later.
when i try to make my S2 sync contacts from my google account, it allways give me a erro.
sorry, but when you are in contact, you go to Menu> Contacts to display?
I finally went back to Overcome yesterday after a month of using ICS, both AOKP and recently the CM9 nightlies, because of 2 issues, both of which I've searched everywhere for but haven't found solutions to. One is that google calendar sync stops working for me after a day or two. I've been through every AOKP build since M4 and 2 CM nightlies, and it happened on all of them. Doesn't anyone else have the same problem?
The other is the crappiness of the GPS.
Are there solutions to these issues? Work-arounds? I don't care so much about the GPS, that's mostly for the coolth, but I need calendar to work.
Have you checked if your calender is synced under your settings?
Settings > Account & sync > click on the sync button for your email account > make sure Sync Calender is checked.
This is if you're on CM9 or AOKP. Hope that helped! Cuz I had the same problem, but for Gmail.
Yup, it's synced. What happens is the widget suddenly goes blank, and it tells me calendar storage has stopped. The only way for me to fix it is to clear data on the calendar app. I really like ICS, I hope there's a solution to this
Questions go in the Q&A section
Try flashing a newer version of the gapps. Make sure you delete the old data first though, (probably with Titanium Backup)
Hey there. I just installed CM11 onto my Note 2 yesterday and it works amazingly. However, even though my email for my work is syncing across (we use Office 365), my calendar does not, and this hasn't been an issue before. I've tried clearing the Calendar app cache and data, rebooting, removing and adding my account, turning calendar syn on and off, but yet the only calendar that the calendar app sees is my gmail one.
Has anyone had this before? I kind of need my work calendar to come through....
Thanks!
Also, just noticed that MMS also doesn't work. Any tips or tricks there? I mainly use Handcent, but the default Messaging app doesn't work either.
I've solved my issues through Googlefu. My fixes can be found on post 4

Menu button, calendars to sync and calendars to display make sure your work calendar account is in there. As far as MMS it's working for me. Maybe an issue in your area? Does it work with other roms for you?

The only "calendar to sync" that shows up is my gmail. Nothing else. Removing and re-adding my account doesn't make it show up either.
However, I initially flashed this via TWRP and re-flashed through PhilZ 6.48 and now my work calendar is in there. Still no love for MMS though. I've heard something something APN edits from the /etc/ folder? I don't know specifically what needs to be changed though.
MMS worked fine on AllianceROM build 25 and 26, as did calendars and GPS.
Also, for more information, here are my device settings:
Baseband: I605VRUFND7
Android version: 4.4.4
CyanogenMod version:11-20140912-NIGHTLY-i605
Kernel version: 3.0.64-CM-g526d694
[email protected] #1
Build number: cm_i605-userdebug 4.4.4 KTU84Q 1b9a28f2a1 test-keys
SELinux status: Enforcing
*Sigh*. The issues continue. I was able to finally play with some APN settings and get both LTE and MMS to work, but once again my calendar isn't syncing/showing up in Calendar.
WHY ME!
Here's the fix that works for me to send MMS now
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2754568
Alllright, chugging right along. According to this thread, the built-in Exchange sync sucks, and they recommend downloading NINE email application and what do you know, it actually works.
MMS is sending!
Calendar is syncing!
.... What's next?
Hi there.
In the Lollipop 5.1.1 version as well as CM 12.1 I'm not able to allow Google to sync only Google Chrome. This really annoys me, as I sync all my accounts and other stuff with another software locally.
In the accounts setting of android I see the Google account and can only enable or disable it. I tried the "Accounts Sync Profiler" app that allows to specify what exactly should be synced over my Google account, but it never met the conditions I've set in the software to finally sync my data.
I might want to mention I prefer syncing only when connected to a power source (not battery) and a certain WLAN hotspot I decide. Preferable, I'd like to get only Chrome synced without third party applications. With "Auto Sync" I could enable it only when my mobile fulfill all my requirements, finally.
Is there any Xposed module I can use or at least any app that stops syncing all except my Chrome data when enabling Google Sync?
Thank you.
Really, nobody can help me with that issue?
EDIT: I updated to the new Cyanogen Mod (CM13, Android 6). Android 6 allows me to set what to sync, exactly.
