Hi guys
Sorry but anywhere in a tutorial video there was a prime with the Reboot-Button.
Can somebody tell me how we can implement this button on the Notification Menu or the Long - Press - OFF Button window .
I hope you know which window I mean

This 'long press menu' reboot option will exist in custom roms such as cm9.
It may be difficult for you to add this option yourself.

or just stick a paper clip in the little hole underneath micro SD card. put enough pressure till you hear or feel it click. or until you see device reboot. that might be the button you talking about. reboot/reset is that pinhole on volume rocker side underneath the memory card slot. use this if prime freezes or locks up or becomes unstable.
True dev thing to add the option in Power Off pop up.. Usually present in CynaogenMod.
For now you can just keep pressed the Power button for at least 5-7 sec, device will reboot.

Hi
How can I configure the Volume Buttons, so that the next song is played when i press one of them longer?

Bump. Was going to post the same question.
I miss the blackberry style song change features with just your volume button. Turning the phone on, going through the security password, than hitting next on the screen is just a mission sometimes when your phones in your pocket and want a quick change.
Anyone script anything or have an app that manages to do just this?
This is hard to do..
But you ca try it with this app: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=850464
That would change some remaps in my opinion, but, I dont think it gives an option to press vs holding down a button. Pressing it to change the volume and holding it to change the song is where it's at.

Oh,..
For this you have to write a new module/kernel for that .. and thats hard
I couldnt do that, but i think other guys here could do that
I really hope someone can. lol I wish I was into that field of line, (ability to create things).
Can it be done?
I formatted my book and set it up again but the d pad is on and it never was before.
The only way i have found is to press and hold on the popper. This will make it go away until you press and hold the popper again. Have not found a more permanant solution yet.
You might try disabling the virtual home button - and hence the d-pad thing - and let it pop up on double clicking the 'n' button from settings.
What exactly is the Popper?

I don't see a setting to "disable" the virtual home button.

I am not able to post links (lurker for years with no posts). Try the following url in your address bar for an explanation - from nookdevs site:
nookdevs.com / NookColor_Default_Launcher
just remove spaces and should be good to go. Hope that helps.
The popper is the floating circle that you press to bring up the softkeys when they are hidden.
If you have not already give the status bar hack a try over in the development forum. Its much better than the soft keys in my opinion

as long as their not assigned to anythign then it shouldnt matter if you touch in that area
Ok, when I click the end call button on the phone it then displays the contact information. Is there a way to turn this off to just go back to the keypad instead with out hitting the go back button again? I have gone through every menu I could find but was unable to locate something that would allow you to turn this feature off or shorten the time it displays. Thanks in advance for your answers.

it should disappear after you press the end button or they press the end button unless you have an app to delay it but i dont know what it would be because ive never heard of something like that

It does disappear but when I need to make a call right after it stays up to long. I would rather it be a shorter time display.

yes... they are sensor buttons.. not on-screen buttons its just a matter of .. text file somewhere i found some tutorials on internet how to change what a specific button does.. but .. i still don't know the keys.. so sometimes when i try i just screw it up and i have to restore my phone.. xD
Anyone know how to make the button presses that you map on your kunai not show? I layout the buttons and make that invisible, but when I hit the button it flashes the button press on screen. I'd like to make it so I don't see my button presses for a full screen experience without crazy button flashes.
I just uncheck the display hotkeys configuration option.
I have a picture but it won't let me upload it.

Yea but when you hit the button it shows up on the screen. That's what I'm talking about. I hate the button flashing and analog stick showing up while playing fullscreens.
