So I've heard from various sources that the gt-i9100 official ics will be released march 1st.... does anyone think that means a leak anytime soon for us? I'm not asking for etas just opinions...

My opinion is that starting another ICS is coming thread is stupid.

I went to settings and update software and it said "up to date. Check again in 11 hours"
Oh btw, how do you post pictures?

Just go to the dev section and you can have an even better version of ICS in 11 minutes.

There is no official ics update available yet.

Ummm wat.
You can only check for updates every so often, which is why it is telling you to check again in x amount of hours.
No i717 ICS update rolling out man. You must've heard about the n7000 getting ICS and thought we had the same phone.
I was getting excited...

Seems here at XDA they only close threads with hundreds of informative posts:

If you don't want to install one of the leaked versions of ICS (Which are pretty damn good), I have a novel idea for you;
Next time, don't purchase a carrier subsidized phone. Your chances of getting a timely update are better.

Any devs working on jelly bean yet? I have been reading the reviews on Google Now and it sounds very cool.

You're probably going to have to at least wait until the source is released later this month.

No worries, dude. Just try to read up in the various forums. You'll find almost all of this has been discussed in one thread or another. Also, unless you're a developer, which I am not, you'll find its hard to bring new info to these guys about ROM releases as this is their passion and they know the best places to look for the latest and greatest. Plus they're sharing this stuff back and forth in the irc channels.
I don't say this to discourage you from posting, but more to look around first to be sure it hasn't already been discussed in another thread, most likely it has.

I think they r in the "original development" section now. If it not seeing that in the list I think u have to uninstall xda then reinstall it and u should see it in the forum list under rezound. I had the same issue and Im pretty sure that's how I fixed it. I could be wrong though. Delete data from the xda app too.

Reading the posting at the top of the forum would have answered this question. Might want to check it out.
I just got the optimus g and is preparing to sell my galaxy s2. My question is is there a easy way to return it back to stock after unlocking the boot loader, rooting and constantly flashing roms. I'd like everything to be deleted and it be just like it was coming out of the store.

You should know this is in the wrong forum. You've posted to the correct forum a number of times.
Sorry I just didn't see the i777 forum on the xda app.

Actually there wasn't a need to post the thread in the first place, as there are stickies and guides that literally walk you through doing just this.
Edit: took me 12 seconds to find this. And there are more.http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1313659
