Surfing anonymously

Anyone know any application to be able to surf anonymously by hiding IP address. I don't have data plan and have to use wifi. When in school, the school interent block some application such as pocket legend, MSN Talk PRO etc. So is there any application such as hotspot shield so I will be able to access apps blocked by the school.
I tried VPN Connection and TOR but both doesnt work on x10.
EVO VPN could be an option... You just need to download the apk from the Market and sign in in their webpage (www.evovpn.com)...
It will hide you IP Address...

Security lock with certified wifi networks

Hello mates,
When i try to install a wifi network in my university i need a certificate. When i install it with the network,it always wants me to setup a lockscreen with a pin or a pattern. I know this is a issue caused by the systemadmin, but is there any solution to turn this off, because it is very annoying for me.is there any app or a setting i can change?
Regards,
DaKiii

JUST PUT A PIN AND THEN USE A AUTO PIN PROGRAM LIKE THIS ONE

VPN Access for Atrix? Client for IpSec?

This could have been already covered elsewhere so if so, I apologize. VPN is a tough thing to search for being so short.
Anyways, trying to setup VPN access to my work network via my Atrix (HP Touchpad running AOKP too). I am new to the whole VPN thing, but as far as I can tell we are using IPSec, I access via cisco vpn client from my work laptop.
Running Nottachtrix 1.3.1, from the native VPN setting under wireless I cannot generate a connection. On my touchpad booting in webOS, I am able (I think) to connect to the VPN and enter all the parameters I have:
Address ##.###.###.###
group access name
group access code
domain
my personal login username and password
It says I am connected on the touchpad in webOS, but there is no field for group access name or access code in the android VPN settings. Is there a 3rd party client software I should use? Is this unsupported at this time?
This should be pretty straight forward if simple ipsec PSK (preshared key), you should just need the server name and preshared key (vpn password, not user password) to connect. when connecting, it should ask for your user credentials, which should map you to access groups (either locally on vpn device or LDAP mapping through RADIUS). Unfortunately there isn't nearly enough info to properly diagnose.

Although, if you are required to enter group info, you will likely need another client such as cisco.

Override pin request on VPN

Hi akl,
I'm trying to find a solution how to remove the system's request to enter a pin or use a pattern lock screen when trying to setup a vpn connection.
I'm rooted but still on stock ICS.
Thanks for your thoughts!

[Q] Recommend me a VPN?

I'm going to be using public wifi a lot and wanted to use a VPN to keep my data secure. So far, I've tried SurfEasy (which disconnects every five or so minutes, rendering it useless) and DroidVPN (which won't connect at all, telling me the server is full or my user name and PW are incorrect, even though I'm already logged into the app).
Can anyone recommend a VPN that will work with me just setting it up in the phone's VPN settings under More Connections, instead of requiring an app download?
Do a quick Google Search for "Open VPN". Should be exactly what you are looking for ( no installation) just be sure to download the certificates and watch when they change the passwords (every month or so).
OpenVPN also let's you run your own from your home PC. That's what I use. It took me about an hour to read some guides and get it set up.
I actually meant to put VPNBook. Open VPN is like what @brizey mentioned for rolling your own VPN
RE
Get PureVPN and setup the VPN settings on your phone manually.
Will we ever really get a free tor VPN that is unlimited without root? If you know of one please pm me.
