-MikRunny-3vo-v1.1-CDMA-signed (After installing this one, start the problem)
-Radiance-RC-4 (I Install this one successful but it made a boot loop)
-MIUI.us_shooter_2.2.23_Eng_Deo_ZipA_Signed_scott951 (I Install this one successful but it made a boot loop)
-ICS-AOSP (error)
Shooter_2.08.651.2_odexed_rooted-signed (This one worked perfect but after MikRunny-3vo-v1.1 non of stock .Img works)
I take it your Hboot 1.5 since your using the Flash Gui.. I don't use that app..
Your suppose to flash the rom first then use that app to flash the kernel you want wipe the cache and davlik cache and it will flash the kernel and reboot for you.. Suppose to work that way... I think the kernel you may be tryin to use might be the issue..
Best way to flash is to...
Be in Hboot use adb:
Fastboot boot recovery.img wipe and flash the rom... You will have zero issues this route man..
Also I am on the 2.17 build and radios and what not haven't had any issues with things...
The problem your having is related to the kernel not flashin or rather the boot.img is messing up..

How did you root ? Are you Hboot 1.5 you can check in your hboot? From the sounds of it you are. Did you root using HTC DEV...
To root that method you have to have java jdk and SDK along with htc sync installed.

What is it doing???
You wipe then you flash the rom and reboot and it should take off...
What build are you tryin to use a 2.08 or 2.17 if your tryin a 2.17 build you may need to update your radios...
It takes it a few to go past the splash screen 1min to 2min sometimes longer depends on the rom...
Im doing it again do I have to wipe cache only? or both (user/factory)?
Yesssss thank you very much, I intall the Stock IMg, so with this process I have to install MikRunny-3vo-v1.1-CDMA-signed and its going to work???
I appreciate your value time
Another quiestion is,
System UIDS INconsistent
UIDS on the system are inconsistent, you need to wipe your data partition or your device will be unstable.

I would say any 2.08 build if you wanna try the 2.17 build you would wanna upgrade your radios before you tried it.
What was your software build before your rooted were you 2.17 or 2.08?

K to do that.... You will need to download the 2.17 RUU exe.... Now you will need to use adb again make sure debug is turned on under applications ..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1334473 Link for the RUU
Plug your phone in..
Adb reboot bootloader
fasboot boot recovery.img
wipe everything not your sd card
adb reboot bootloader or just go back to hboot
Now relock your phone... fastboot flash oem lock
now run that RUU 2.17 exe
let it do it's thing
boot the phone.
Update profile and prl
now turn debug on
adb reboot bootloader
unlock your phone again with that unlock code
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot boot recovery.img
wipe and flash your rom 2.17 build roms
Can anyone explain or help me how to fix this soi can use my phone. When I boot it into hboot and reboot system it goes to htc logo then flickers a ill bit then stays on the logo forever. Help please

Will it boot to bootloader? Can yo get to recovery? Did you use Scott's clean wipe tool or did you just factory data reset? What rom were you on and what we're you trying to accomplish when wiping? Why are you using cwm and not amon ra? You really need to be specific or no one can help you.

I did factory wipe data and dalvik. But my device jus keeps freezing at the htc logo and won't boot up. Do I need to put a rom on the phone or what
I had the stock rom the oly thing I did to that phone was unlock bootloader then flashed Amon ra then downloaded rom manager and installed cwm then these problems happened after I wiped everything
Flash amon ra recovery again and install a Rom of your choice and make sure you flash the matching kernal. Then you should be all set.

hey everyone!! i really need u guys' help, my phone is either softbricked or stuck in bootloop right now. heres what happened, i have gsm evo 3d and i just got it s-on. everything was good, was on stock ics rom with superuser. made a backup using 4ext recovery so i thought i was good to go and tried flashing a sense 4 rom. after flashing, it got stucked in a bootloop and i later found out that i have to flash the boot.img. and so i did, but it didnt help. so this is where i panicked and went wiping and formatting and tried restroing the 4ext recovery backup i made and now... its stuck in the htc logo. means i soft bricked it?
If you can still get into recovery, you are ok. Maybe try to flash a sense 3.6 Rom (flashing the boot.img separately).
I also recommend getting s-off as that makes flashing easier.

yea but all i have right now is a GB rom from LeeDroid, downloaded that as it is one of the steps to getting s-off. will this work? or must i need a sense 3.6 boot.img? this is my first attempt on rooting and already facing bootloop :O talk about scary! ahaha
As it has been said if you can get into recovery you should be ok. Flash a non ICS Rom.
And you'll get past the boot loop. To flash an ics Rom get s-off that hay you'll have no problems. Saying that if your stock ics you might not be able to downgrade your hboot ansld therefore you can't get s off.

i just tried flashing leedroid gb rom and its still stucked in bootloop and when i formatted sd card, my 4ext backup was gone too. please help :'(
I see that coal is offline so ill try to help a little. The reason you bootlooped after restoring a nandroid is because you're not s-off and you didn't boot recovery from fastboot, you couldn't write to the boot partition. I'm gonna take a guess and say that your boot is corrupt. To get past this. You need to boot a recovery from fastboot. Do you know how to do that? Do you have adb set up?
Take the more useful advice.... Ignore this. It's probably way off ....
How did you format your sd card.
If you can get to your recovery, I presume you can as you flashed the rom.
Mount USB storage in CWM or whichever recovery you have. You can flash a Rom as explained previously and it will boot fine.

If you don't have adb set up yet, I'm gonna say running an ruu is the fastest way to get your phone working again.

gimme the steps or guides so i have a reference guys. thanks a bunch! im gonna head off to bed first, havent slept for a day because of this i only rooted because i want sense 4. see what htc put me through because it didnt come with official sesne 4 update T__T please teach me how to fix this. literally dying over here.
I'll look for the stuff you need and post it when I find it. You're gonna need either an ruu or you're gonna need adb, and actually, I'm not sure but you might have to relock before running the ruu which means you need adb. Gimme awhile and ill post with some links.
im not sure what does adb and RUU mean. but adb, isnt that the thing with the cmd.exe when unlocking via htcdev?

Rom update utility. Allows you to install roms. Could be a life saver for you.
Android debugging bridge. Runs on your phone and computer, you issue commands through your computer. Put simply, yes like command prompt.

Here is a link to the RUU's, make sure to get the one for your phone. I saw a lot of GSM RUU's but i dont know what carrier you have.
Here is a pre packaged adb installation kit.
You'll need adb installed to use the RUU because you're unlocked and it'll only run on a locked bootloader.
Once you get it installed, you need to find a recovery image. Put the recovery image in the same folder that adb and fastboot are in (platform tools folder) and rename it to recovery.img. Hold shift and right click in that folder and choose to open in terminal. Put the phone in hboot and plug it into the computer. Now Press power to select fastboot. Then type
Code:
fastboot boot recovery.img
You should now be in recovery and you can flash whichever rom you want to, or restore your nandroid.

I've read from other GSM users that the newest radios for GSM do not allow someone to install GB Roms as it will cause bootloops. That's why I suggested an ICS Rom.
As wild said, the fastest way is to run the ruu.

May I ask if you can be more specific? such as; what build OTA you have, hboot version, what recovery you have, which rom and/or kernel you are trying to flash, and if you are s-on or s-off
I had a similar problem. I unlocked and rooted my EVO LTE ... Then I tried to install a custom ROM and it just got stuck at the boot animation. I didnt do a back up or anything so I was just stuck. I was able to get into Recovery. As a matter of fact I fixed it last night by loading up flashing that superwipe zip and flashing Stock with Goodies ROM. Now my EVO LTE works fine.

Hey there
I had the same problem, just when I loaded the goodies rom it crashed. Can't do anything, except boot into TWRP. Basically if I try to reflash a rom it should solve my problem?
Most likely you need to flash the kernel, use that image flash app or adb tools/android SDK to flash it in fastboot
I had a feeling
First, thanks
Ok, can I use TWRP to flash the Kernel or is there an app or pc that ill have to use?
You can use fastboot to flash the kernel or the image flash app, I havent got a link for it right now but its probably in themes and apps or original development
No PC
I don't have a PC to use. I'm wondering if I could go recovery->advance->terminal command. I see a fast lot process, but requires a PC.
Not that I know of, you need access to fastboot
Dumlock?
Reading on dumlock, else return to project when computer is available. Thanks for the help.
You can't use dumlock without access to android
So it appears
*sigh* got all excited flashed a rom without a kernel, and now **** out of luck. Seemed so much easier for my OGEVO. So my only option is to do a fast boot with a PC using the .zip I have on the sdcard?
someone please help

Well...since you are Sprint you probably unlocked via HTC dev. You can flash your unlock token again which will allow you to flash a custom recovery. You can then flash the current rooted Rom and use sunshine to s off again. The hard option is flashing an older Rom to use firewater as doing so will make your phone reboot about every thirty seconds because of the firmware mismatch. I can help you get it done that way if you want...up to you. Six of one half dozen of the other. You can almost always fix a phone that still boots to hboot and is unlockable. You won't have adb in the current mode either btw....

if you're bootloader showing unlocked try to install twrp recovery image
and then try to download stock nandroid rom for you're Sprint mobile then place it in you're mobile using adb push command then restore the the rom that you have placed at the end flash the image boot from the bootloader and you're done.
