I am looking for an app that will tweak the sound levels produced by other apps playing on my Tab. I just got a new bluetooth stereo headset, (Logitech H800). I am quite pleased with the performance but the bass is a little light when playing music from various apps such as Audiogalaxy, 2player, etc. These apps do not offer any mixer options from within the apps themselves.
Is there an app that will adjust the sound on a global level so that any app playing sounds will be affected? Ideally, I would like to be able to tune the output of all audio so it sounds best on these headphones regardless of which app is producing the audio.
Thanks in advance.
Bob
Wouldn't a simple market search yield what you seek?

I hate to be rude but your response is simply useless. Sure I could search the Market but then I would only have the marketing info that the seller wants me to read. I was looking for some advice from actual users who have found a credible product.
If you don't have anything useful to contribute, I think you might want to consider passing on posting a comment in the future.
Thanks fpragna, I will give Equalizer a try.

Yes thanks fpragana. For following my suggestion, searching the market using the word "equalizer", and posting the name and developer of the first app that came up.
Seems someone got upset and said my post was "simply useless" when I suggested they search themselves.
Checked out the Equalizer app. It works perfectly. Thanks for the tip.

So searching does work? :what:
Thankfully, someone did it for you and just posted the first app that came up for them.
At first I was offended by your statement about my post being useless and your being so rude about it. Since I apologized for not offering more and was actually sincere to begin with. Only trying to help get your request noticed cause I didn't have anything else to offer.
But now that I see you never saw the sarcasm in his post, by him doing what I suggested, posting it as your solution, not offering you anything that you stated making my post useless, and you ate it up. Thanking him and chastising me.
On a really sarcastic note. I hate to be rude, but you're not the brightest crayon in the box are you?.
Someone just played you, and it wasn't the person who sincerely wanted help you, and you got rude with.
It was me you got rude towards. Not the person who just played you as a fool.
On a serious note. I'm sorry if you thought I was being a smart a$$ in my very first post. I really didn't intend it that way.
I am glad that the app is what you were needing after all.

Hi,
thisi s very different to bebot, unfortunately. It's a nice starting point, but it's so far...
wow, i had searched for the bebot for iphone. It's looks good, hope it comes to us.
Help me! I'm so close to buying an iPad JUST for the BeBot app. Theres absolutely no musical synth like it in an Android app or even in straight musical hardware (short of a Haken Continuum, which with the required keyboard sound module costs between $6000 - $8000).
I'd love to see something comparable for Android. Or maybe if enough of us poke the developer with a stick they will make an Android version...
(can't post links, Google Normalware BeBot for developer's site)
I really don't want an iPad as a tablet. But if theres no other way to get this app, I may not have a choice.
Synth2
Sorry for posting in such an old thread.
I have been working on a similar app for Android for some time. I just release, what I call, a Beta version of it. It doesn't have the animations and the settings are quite different. Try it out! I call it "Synth2". All feedback is, of course, most welcome!
Unfortunately I'm not allowed to post links, but here is the URL: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.mejf.synth2

They do. I went through the process a couple months ago to help someone sign up. It's actually a lot more complicated than when I became a member. It required a captcha and a simple question like "Musical instrument that has several black and white keys" that you have to answer. Then you see the link to the video and a check box saying that you agree to the forum rules and that have read the video.
Unfortunately, there's no way to know if they actually read the forum rules and there is no way to verify that they actually watched the video.
Maybe we should implement a pop quiz before posting a new thread.

We have enough stickies. You can include it in your post though.
One of the main problem with stickies is that a lot of people use the XDA app to log on and search.
However most don't check the stickies tab at the top so they don't even see them when they search the forum. That's why at least 75 percent of the "noobs" post their questions that have already been answered. Seriously! Next time check to see if you notice a "Sent from my _____ using XDA App"
Hell... there's one in this very page! No offense to ebatr8 or anything I'm just proving my point that a lot of people use it. Unfortunately it's my belief that a lot of them use it as their primary source to log on. So a lot of content is missed because of it. And don't think that I don't check ip addresses! When I see someone with a stupid question I check two things:
1. Do they have a history of asking stupid questions?
2. Have they asked that stupid question multiple times?
3. Are they from another country? Sometimes the language barrier makes things difficult so I tend to have more patience.
4. I check the ISP of the person.
Now let me pick on ebatr8 just real quick. Don't take it personal or anything... but looking at your ip address you have "or.wavecable.com." What is that? Also.... I'm assuming you're using your home wireless network. So is it safe to assume that you also have a PC at home that you just don't feel like using? I'm not trying to pick on you or anything I'm just trying to see the appeal of that stupid XDA app. I use it when I have to but I would much rather have a PC. Maybe that's just me though.

Hey guys, for those of you who love technology, I came across a great ap called tune in radio that has a podcast section with all of engadgets podcasts archived. Its on sale today in the Play store for 25cents. You can navigate to podcasts, then technology to find engadget.
It also has all of your local stations, as well as endless amounts of the nations biggest stations, and even from around the world! You can search for stations, browse by category, and even pause live feeds for up to 30 minutes. This is a truly impressive app that no one could be disappointed in for a quarter!
Enjoy the app guys and please hit the thanks button if you enjoy it!

Yes, stating ones opinion is indeed, "policing."
Re: no its not. That's dumb.
I saw the humor just fine. Allow me to reiterate: jokes can in fact, be bad. I thought it was a poorly executed joke. Get over it. Not everyone needs to agree and just because someone disagrees with you, doesn't mean you need to start making posts that attack others.

Well, the title of the post says it all
1 - Is there a cydia app like for android? Or all of the tweaks and stuff are only on the web and on Market (Google Play)?
2 - Is there a way to show my company carrier logo on the statusbar?
3 - Can I, through any method, change the display app name, in appgrid? Not in homescreen.
4 - Why if I dial *#7465625# nothing shows up? Depends of the ROM?
5 - Any way to have a better adjustement of the volume without depending on apps like Fime Volume Control?
6 - Any way to make the brightness minimum lower without depening on apps like ScreenDim?
7 - Any way to put a youtube video in video popup mode?
8 - Is there a tweak to put internal storage in mass storage mode? I know the one for external.
9 - How can I have a total control of the background app? I have tried advanced task manager, but as soon as I kill one process, for example Brower, it comes back itself within seconds. How can I control autostars of apps?
10 - Can I remap the buttons? For example, for a customize action when I long press the home button.
11 - How do the themes and mods work? On the iPhone the themes were images in folders, and the system images were in certains paths, so if I wanted to change something I just needed the correct path, even to make my custom images. How does all that work on android?
12 - How do I customize keyboards? Just installing new ones? Is that the only way?
Before answer me, please note, I am NOT a total noob, I perfectly know what root is, just like I know stock, CWM, and all of that. I have a custom ROM. I know about the system, I'm just new to it and because of that I dont' know where certains things are.
Thanks and sorry if anything is bad written, but english is no my native language.

Bumping is against the rules .
But using the search is not .

I'm going to try and answer your questions as much as I can.
1. Since each phone has its own specific mods and utlities there is no "universal app" like Google Play or Cydia. However there are a few apps for SGS3 like the Omega kitchen Files app (Play Store) and Kitchen Pro app which is locked to CheckRom.
2. This might be what you are looking for. https : //play .google. com/store/apps/details?id=com.infonetservice.phono
3.https : / /play. google. com/store/apps/details?id=com.guardam.AppNameEditor&hl=en App Name Editor on Play Store.
4. AFAIK some ROMs remove that "utlity"
5. AFAIK no but lets see what someone else has to say.
6. Same as 5
7. You could use a youtube downloader. There are plenty in Play store. I dont know of any other way.
Google and XDA have a ton of anwers if you search. This is not kindergarten
I'm terribly sorry about the bumping. I won't happen again. But then, how are people going to see my post if it goes under page 2 or 3?
Greatnesss, you have give me solutions for questions 1, 2, 3 and 4. Thanks very much.
About questions 5 and 6, let's wait for others and see.. I have seen something about the volume in this forum, some mod, but it was tooo complicated. I even tried it, but with no result.
About question 7, I mean to watch youtube in popup video, but live, not to download the video first (I like to watch long duration videos and sometimes I want to put them in an external mini-window to browse something at the same time, for example).
I still have no answers to questions 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12. Sorry, I forgot to number them :S
Thanks to all. You have help me a lot.

I think the problem your running into here is everything works differently than what you are use to in Apple products, most people here are Android addicts so they might not understand what cydia does, here is different its wide open instead of an app adding the correct files you do it yourself in adb and moding apks. There's a lot to read here if Apple was your starting point, there's much more that you can do with Android and everything you asked about is possible with some reading and time.
Good luck man, welcome to the community of unlimited options and opportunity.
