I tried out the MMS.apk from the International Note N7000 and it's working fine on our phones.
The conversation thread has less of an iPhone feel to it.
To install:
1. In system/app, rename the stock mms.apk and mms.odex to mms.apk.bak and mms.odex.bak
2. Copy this mms.apk into system/app and change the permissions to match the rest of the apks in the directory.
3. You might have to restart the phone for the app to show up in your drawer. (I did not have to do this.)
Any difference with our ATT Note? Background? Font?... Thanks

Yes. You need root for playing with anything at system level.
Worked great for me, did not need a reboot!
Works great, thanks. I didnt like the yellow message bubbles, so I replaced them with the stock at&t blue and gray, and it looks awesome!

I'm on the stock AT&T rom and it's working fine. Did you delete or backup the mms.odex file in system/app?
I'm a total dumbass I guess I should learn to read before trying to apply any mods huh!! I didn't rename the odex file. Lemme try this again.

I can if you want, but its a little more modded than stock. See Screen shot.
Sorry i want to apply this mod, but i am running stock rom. What the best way to root it so i can apply this mod. On my previous android phones, i was just download an app and root it. In my international note i used DooMLoRD_v1_ROOT and it work fine. I am reading that on ATT note you have to used Odin and flash the phone. Please advice. I don't want to install new roms, all i want to do is mods like this one.

I used the method in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1518962
Thanks, for warranty purpose. can i go to setting, privacy and factory data reset. Will that undo the root and take me back to unroot stock att or do i have to flash to go back to factory default.
Sorry so many questions.
Thanks

You should ask questions like this in that thread since it is specifically for that and this thread is for the MMS.apk from the International Note forum.
But - no, factory reset does not undo root.
Yay no more white background. Thanks alot!!!!!
Am gonna use the UOT kitchen to make some mods for people, But am currently on 4.0.3 so mine are different..
I need these files for a stock ROM nothing touched to it..on 2.3.6
Systemui.apk
Framework-res.apk
twframework-res.apk
Im only doing this to help build some extra mods through UTO for anyone that needs the help or needs help in building themes in the theme section i have a thread open and someone needed a battery mod, Your help will be appropriated ,,,thank you
You need to be more specific, those will be dependent upon the ROM.

Hello There Guy's
I Had An Idea ... Sometimes we delete files that were not meant to be deleted
u can a make a zip file to be flashed with that file in order to put the file back were he belongs ... Saving some time in restoring a backup or re-flashing ROM
Or ... U just Simply need that file to be flashed, problem is ... many of us dont know how
And for those u dont know how I'm opening this post!
Just Send Their Requests and i'll make a flashable zip of those files and posting them here in order to help other's tat may need it aswell!
I'll be making this in a Daily Bases ... So ... Fire Way With Requests
Note: Only System Files Can Be Requested
Note 2: Done Requests Will Be Added On 2nd Post
Note 3: To Flash Zip Files You'll Need CWM Recovery And Root ( Files For Both Things Can Be Found On Attachment
Installation Notes:
Flash (From Stock Recovery) Root.zip and then CWM.zip
Center Clock ( CM7 ) - | LINK |
Good initiative
Sounds like a good idea, but surely you can just extract any missing files from a ROM Zip.

There are fonts available at play store but they seemed to be made for galaxy s4, I think. I was looking for FlipFont program / app, cannot find it.
I have been trying to apply battery mod zips but that doesn't makes any changes to my statusbar battery icon. This thing happens with the battery modules too, in the xposed framework 2.1.4.
Please suggest the resolution.

Here the xposed module
Enjoy & hit thanks button if u like it !! :good:
Unfortunately it is not working.
FYI, I've white mods of s4 installed which required the respective s4 framework & an extra svi.jar file in system/framework folder ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317876) . Could this be the reason of conflict with xposed framework. Though I don't get any errors.

OP, if you're stock, you probably have .odex'd system. It's best to run a de-odexed ROM if you want to theme.

I've no experience with Odex'd roms. If the odex is regenerated on boot up, then I guess so.
