Friends, I am having trouble with my xperia.. Before upgrading to 2.3 it was working fin there was no problem.. but when i upgarded to 2.3 it is restarting on a little heavy apps.. On HD video recording or while playing angrybirds... and some times while listening music it got hanged for 2, 3 seconds and then crashes... I downgraded to 2.1 and again it is working fine.. But i like 2.3.. Plz give me some solution... Plz.. I am waiting...

Hi, stock 2.3 is taking very much RAM and is very laggy. I would suggest You to install custom 2.3 ROM. I'm currently using this ROM for over 1 month and works great. HD video recording, games etc.
Wil you plz explain a little.. I dont know much.. I am new in android... what is this custom rom? is it a firmware? from where i can get it.. ?

Custom ROM is operating system for the phone. Custom ROM's mostly have more features and are faster. You have propably noticed that stock (original) 2.3 is very laggy. But to install other ROM You will have to first root Your X10, install xRecovery (or CWM) and exceptionally unlock bootloader (now most of the ROM's require this). You can read about those things in X10 android developement section. After You've done that things You are able to install new ROM's. If You would like to root and etc. and You would have any problems post me and I will help You
P.S. You can get ROM for example from here or if You don't like it search for other one

if you have still garanty on it ill say that varanty will be lost when rooted.
But you can unroot it

I suggest a Custom rom based on se 2.3.3 Gignerbread
I Use Wolfbreak xperia it has all you know now but it runs amazingly smooth top for gaming i Played the new dead space for android on it runs very smooth.

Search for root checker on market that will tell u if u rooted (sounds like u are though) now just use flashtool to install xrec in one press.

, and touch was dead..
before i upgrade i was backup with cmw,, when i restore,, touch sreen still dead,, then i downgrade to,,4.0.2.A.0.58 ,, still dead ,,

try flash other kernels, roms, full wipe, etc.
if still not work, bring it to service center.

when i got dead touch screen ,, i've been trying to use ..
- restore to xxx.62
- downgrade to xxx.58 ,,
- then i try hy [HYBROM v16] BASED ON 0.62 FIRMWARE
- MiniCMSandwich Lite AOSP (ICS)
- downgrade then upgrade via SEUS ..
nothing happen .. :/

in my case is with the front camera has stopped working
So here's the deal modders and forum members....
Tried a couple of custom kernels to get my Sola rooted but every kernel had some or the other issue..
So here's what I did to keep the root and to solve the issues...
1) Fastbooted with custom kernel to get rooted
2) Flashed with stock firmware. Tft file (only ticked kernel nothing else) so that's the stock kernel of my firmware. .184
3) rebooted and Walla rooted
So now the problem is I lost CWM
Can't boot into recovery
So can someone please help me out over here to install recovery again without flashing a new kernel..

If ur using SSpeed v3 then it's provided in their. Zip files so you just have to replace it in root and change the permissions...

Found it, thank you...flashed the v3 zip but wifi tethering still doesn't work, tried manually copy-paste and changing the perms, but still no luck. Am I missing something?

I hope you extracted the WiFi modules.zip and replaced it in the root with rwr-r-r permission...
Then clear dalvic cache from recovery and try bro!!

Yes, install Sony Xperia Sola boot for 6.1.1.B.1.10 + rooted + CWM Touch recovery v5.5.0.4,you can use flashtool,
or
fastboot flash boot boot.img

There are 5 indicators at led notifications light at boot then it vibrates,after vibration quickly press the vol down button,you should be in cwm now!

i have copied ultimate sola v2 into sd card, i have enter cwm, i have factory reset, wipe cache blablabla, but i dono how to install the ultimate sola v2. when i entered ultimate sola v2 folder in cwm, there's no installer but system files
First you need to root your device and install CWM [You can find CWM here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2020893].
You enter CWM, BACKUP first, then you enter to the Flash from sd card option, And you seek for the file of the rom.
You press yes - And then keep going by the instructions in the post of the rom

Use Sony Xperia SEUS tout reset your phone to stock rom then flash again.

ei! We're exactly in the same situation and I am yet to find the solution to our problem. I have tried so many suggested fix in this forum (mostly for xperia mini) but nothing works, Maybe because they are not exactly in the same situation as us.
Hope some hardcore dev help us.. hehe:silly:
Have you tried flashing stock active rom, boot that and flash the rom for your device again? There was a guy who reported this would work
