I have built an app using webview to show a mobile website. However, when I click the links, it redirects to browser, how can I open the links inside the app?

Using the phone's browser, when I try to download from sites like Filesonic or Wupload I end up getting the file as a tiny .htm file instead of it's original intended file type. I have the app "download all" but it doesn't help.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

I have download all. Still downloads files as .htm.
And I like using the standard browser, so I would like another way of doing this without having to have Opera installed just purely for downloading from those sites.

This. It's what I use for downloading from such sites, more often than not Filesonic.
Is there a mod wherein you can open a link without exiting the app. For example: on twitter..when you click a link it goes to the internet browser which too annoying.

Hello, I have a little problem on my Samsung Galaxy S2: when I try to download any app from some pages, I am often redirected to ad.fly pages, but then everything ends: the browser says that it can not open the page. Is there a way to make ad.fly pagea to work on android?

Do you have any adblocks enabled on your phone ?
If so disable it then try again the site.

you know, where you don't have that problem? when you download apps from the play store instead of warez sites.

Yeah, but I don't have a credit card... And I don't want to pay so much money for every app

As Chef_Tony suggested, discussions related to warez is not allowed. Thread closed.

I use an add in to Gmail that allows me to attach any file type inside Gmail.
It's called "attach files" I think.

An app in play store? I do know that the Sammy file manager allows me to do that if I remember. I'm using cm 10.1 now hence I don't have it..

I think k9 mail can. At least with pdf files I used it. So I guess with any file extension.
You can always change the extension by adding .txt for example and explaining it in your mail.

Heres my problem.
I have an android app on the market which is free with no ads my users for it just hit 5000 with most of that active users.
I got the app developed by a freelance who I can not get hold of and he has the source.
I want to update the app just to put ads on it.
All I have is the apk file is this possible
