Alright, I'm getting very frustrated. I can't simply find usb drivers for my HTC Rezound. Do they exist?
I'm receiving the infamous exclamation mark next to my device every time I plug it in regardless of if I'm in USB debugging mode or not. I just want some drivers to repair the currently damaged ones.

If I remember right if you download HTC sync for the rezound it will install the drivers first then give you an option to install HTC sync itself of which you would just cancel the install.

So while trying to get HTC up and running I discovered that my flyer is no longer recognized by my computer. I plugged my HTC thunderbolt in and it was immiedetly recognized. The flyer was stock rom, rooted. Anything that I may be missing that could help? Also windows says its unrecognized

1. check if there is correct driver installed
2. check is USB cable is ok
3. use USB port from the back of your PC. front one sometimes it fail (happened to me several times))
4. check if you have "usb debugging" tick in "application - development"
could be one of these above situation....
Uninstalled and reinstalled driver got it to show up intermittently. My phone shows up everytime but the flyer only sometimes. I've tried every port with with multiple cables. I'm gonna see if it got better tonight. I'm trying to upgrade to 3.2 and don't want a brick because of a damaged micro usb port.
Thanks for the reply

have you tried to another computer?
If you have istalled latest adb and HTC driver and Java then i think it's like what happened to me, I couldn't get adb to work and my laptop seems like it didn't recognize my flyer..
nickiberli was kind enough and advised me to use his tool AndroidControl, you can find it in his sig..just navigate to the Android Control folder after you unpack it and start a command window from there and it will hopefully work..

Hey, so when I try to connect my GS2 to the computer (via USB), it doesn't connect for some reason. After connecting it, it takes about 5 secs and it starts to charge but doesn't connect to the computer. I've tried a couple of different ROMs and also on 2 other computers and its the same result. I need help please. Thanks
First make sure drivers are installed if so then try another cable that could be the problem.

You are missing the drivers. Search via Google for the hardware ID or simply by the model of the phone.

I have had the drivers installed, and I tried my brother's HTC usb cable and it still doesn't work.
My thread is right above yours. There are USB port issues with this phone. Although I feel for you, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one. If you have insurance take it back cuz it only gets worse. Flash stock while you still can, if you're not already running it. Trust me.

Mac or PC? That would help out a bit. What have you done? That would also help.

It's a PC, Windows 7. I dl'd htc sync and googled htc drivers then dl'd that. When i plug in a usb cable then go to my computer it doesnt show anything. HTC sync also says no device found.
My experience with HTC sync is.....it sucks. But you don't see any extra storage in computer section? don't get a prompt on your phone to activate disc storage either?

I have a HTC EVO 3D with a very odd problem. It will not connect to my computer (recognized by the computer). The phone will charge when plugged into the USB; although, the computer cannot recognize the phone. I have already exhausted the idea of the cable being the problem.
Has anyone ever seen this issue?
Are you rooted? If not, try a factory reset. If you are rooted, try another rom.
If your computer is a Windows computer, you need the HTC drivers.

I tried the driver packs I've seen on the Web, but none worked. What I did was go to HTC's website and install HTC Sync (get the right one for your version of windows if it asks). It will install the drivers. Then uninstall HTC Sync, but leave the drivers installed.
